"There's a trail here that leads right to the caves," Ku said, tracing it with a paw. It lead directly behind the store, and towards one of the smaller caves beyond the town. "I say we go see what's there." He suggested.

Abby giggled at what Lue said about there being secret passages in the homes that led to the caves. She wasn't sure why she found it so amusing, she just did. Perhaps because that was the kind of thing that you would only find in books. Of course, this whole place looked like something out of a book, so it wasn't beyond the realm of possibilities. This looked like one of those books where the travelers get lost in some sort of strange, abandoned town. And then all of the sudden the hand comes out of the wall and grabs them!

She jerked and twitched, having become so wrapped up in her imagination that she had actually managed to scare herself. She hadn't caught everything that Ku had said, only the last part. "Uh...yeah...I concur." She stood, acting like nothing had happened, and started towards the door.

Lue looked out the dusty window before turning back to the others, "Well it will be getting dark soon, we can go tonight but we might have to spend our night in the caves if we do go..." He pointed out. Gosh this was a long day ((11 pages=1 day )), he had gotten himself lost, he had met Abby and Ku, and he ended up in this abandoned town... This was actually a pretty good day for him actually.

Abby stopped walking and looked outside the doorway and up at the sky. She then turned and sat down. "I'll be more comfortable in here, so I vote we stay for tonight. We can look for the town's people at first light." And though she'd never admit it because she would sound really girly if she did, she would rather be in a building in the dark rather than an unfamiliar cave. Wait, isn't she supposed to be a vampire?! Oh well. "Here, I think I might have something that will make tonight more comfortable." She padded into another section of the store and pulled a bunch of blankets off a high shelf. They were dusty, but they were better than nothing. "Er we go" she said, with the blankets still in her mouth. She threw them down in front of Ku and Lue's feet.

Ku shrugged. "Works for me." He sniffed the dusty blanket and sneezed; he was used to sleeping wherever he was, not in a house or anything. He picked up a ragged one and threw it over himself. He'd picked up the thinnest as he really didn't need warmth, if he was cold, his thick coat would keep him warm.

[Kiweh]

Lue grabbed one and spread it out, not really needing any covering either considering he had a mini furnace going on inside of him. He lay down once he had it how he wanted it, putting his head on his paws and wrapping his tail around his body. "So what are you going to do?" He asked Abby. She didn't get tired so she didn't have to sleep, she could explore the cave while they were sleeping and then have a idea on what they were going against tomorrow....

Abby smiled as she watched the two of them tucking themselves in, but knowing she couldn't join them in sleeping was a little disappointing. She looked outside when she heard Lue's question, not sure how to answer. "Oh, I think I'll just go for a walk" she lied. "Good night you guys, I'll be back soon, I promise." She said before walking outside, looking up at the moon as she walked. Truthfully, she wasn't just going to go for a walk; if at all possible she was going to kill something and eat it. She couldn't ignore her stomach any longer.

Lue shrugged "Have fun..." he called out to her and closed his eyes, sprawling out across the blanket before sleep over took him.

Abby smiled, but it wasn't a sweet, innocent smile like it usually was; now it seemed evil, demonic if you will. "Oh I will" she whispered. Her pupil got real wide and completely engulfed the rest of her eye, causing her eyes to look like black voids. Only trouble was, there wasn't a soul in this town. She could wonder for hours and not find anything. The only body heat she was reading was coming from inside the store where she had left Lue and Ku, but she couldn't do that.....could she? She continued her search for something else for a long time, being a patient hunter, but she found no other life. She flew to the roof of a near by house and peered down at the store, flinching every couple of minutes. It was all she could do to keep from going down there; she felt like there was an animal in the back of her mind, rattling around in a cage. But she would wait, wait until she could be sure they were both asleep.

Ku twitched again and rolled onto his back. He was never a good sleeper, always drifting uncomfortably between sleep and consciousness. He sighed, and curled up in the blanket, wrapping his tail around him. He closed his green eyes in thought, and wondered where Abby was. That started a train of thought that was sure to send him to sleep.

Lue was definitely asleep, he had the snoring and everything going for him. He was used to sleeping in weird places, he traveled a lot and got lost a lot so usually found himself sleeping in trees and other places. He was all spread out across the blanket, his legs going every which way direction and kicked every now and then as he dreamed.

Abby waited a while longer before she slowly leapt off the house's roof, landing carefully on all fours. She could smell them from all the way outside; it seemed to permeate the air, calling to her. She slowly crept into the store where Lue and Ku were, eyeing them with an evil smile. She made sure to retract her claws as far as they would go so they wouldn't click on the wooden floor as she walked towards them. But who to eat? Lue was bigger so she would get more out of him; however, he also looked like he was having some sort of a spastic attack. If she started with him she was liable to get herself kicked. She supposed it didn't matter who she started with; she had enough time for both. She walked over to Ku, smiling at how cute he looked all curled up like that. And she nearly broke her silence when she almost cackled at the 'not for long' though. She carefully reached her paw out and gently pulled Ku's tail away from his neck; that way she wasn't gnawing on a bunch of fur while she was eating.

Lue dream got a little too weird. He opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling, not bolting up or anything. He had a dream that he was running on clouds, a dream so weird that is made him wonder if Dre was around, trying to freak him out. He looked around, not finding Dre but instead finding Abby. Gosh he couldn't have gone to sleep for that long, "Back already?" He asked, he had not idea what she was doing with Ku but he figure that Ku must be awake too....

Abby froze when she heard Lue's voice, though she didn't jump or jerk or anything like that. Crap, he was awake and had almost caught her in the act. Now she had two choices. She could either stay and start with Ku like she had originally intended, or she could turn towards Lue. He would be harder now that he was awake, but that might make it all the more fun. Plus if she did try and start with Ku first, there was a good chance that Lue would get in the way, trying to stop her or something, now that he was awake. She turned her head slowly and stared at Lue. Her now pure black eyes seemed to bore into his while she stared, and she slowly started walking towards him, not saying a word.

Ku had woken up when Abby had moved his tail; now that she was moving slowly towards Lue, he stood up quickly. What was going on?

"Abby, what are you doing?" he said curiously. He padded over to her and stood next to Lue, eyeing her cautiously.
