"Oooo," Abby replied at his compliment. When she looked at him, her eyebrows bopped up and down, and she had a strange look in her eyes. Yeah, there must have been something wrong with her. Under normal circumstances, if Zuri had used that line on her, she probably would have slapped him, if not something much worse.

Zuri was expecting pain and when he didn't get any he was surprised. "Hmmm, oh yes. Hmhm." Zuri went and hugged Abby. He kissed her on the forhead and ran his finger up her back. Hmmm, could he get away with this. He should probably keep his mind on the upcoming event instead of flirting with Abby. "Hmm, so shall we go?" Zuri couldn't think of anything else to say with that, like sexy or something, so he said it sexily.

((*roflmao*))
Abby pressed herself against Zuri's body, her spine rolled up with his fingers as chills shot up and down her back. She was about to start purring, when Zuri said something in the strangest tone of voice. "Ooo, yeees, we shall." She replied, mocking his voice. She pulled away from him and began walking down the sidewalk, letting her hips roll from side to side while she carried her tail low to the ground. She knew it wasn’t a very good idea to try and entice Zuri, not with what he had to do once they got there, but she just couldn't help it. She felt like something was trying to break free of her body, but she couldn't for the life of her comprehend why; the thought never occurred to her that a certain someone was preparing to enter the field, so-to-speak.

Zuri's heart was pounding. He was practically drooling. "Ok then." Zuri was finding Abby incredibly hot. He decided to keep a small amount of distants to watch the show. He wasn't entirely sure what to say or do. Abby was acting incredibly odd. Zuri wasn't sure if he should say something or not. "Ooooo. Hot." that was about all Zuri could really think of. It was obvious that he was flustered a bit and finding Abby really hot.
((Good night sweetie.))

((Ooooh, you are tricky. Though I wouldn't look, didn't ya, didn't ya? Well ha! I looked. )) Every once in a while, Abby would look over her shoulder to make sure Zuri was still following her. Her nose crinkled as she smiled, "Drooling isn't becoming of you, darling," she teased. It was a short walk to the arena, and they had arrived within no time at all. Once they arrived, she stopped dead in her tracks, turned a 180, and didn't step back when her action almost caused Zuri to run into her. "Alright, well, here we are. I suppose you'd better go check in, and I'll go find a place in the stands to sit." She fingered his shirt as she spoke, fixing the areas that were out of place. "Good luck," she kissed him again on the cheek.

((Lol, I figured you would. I thought I'd post one last time before I really went to bed.))
Zuri snapped out of it when Abby spoke to him. "Uh, hey, yeah. I'm not drooling." He said in a soft voice. When they reached the arena, Abby stopped right in front of Zuri so Zuri had to stumble and try to regain his composure before he rammed and fell over ontop of Abby. "Ah!" Zuri half yelled when he nearly hit Abby. "Uhm, yeah, yes we are. I suppose I should." Zuri was looking around at all the other people in line and such to get in. Then Abby kissed him. He was a bit embarassed but he liked it. "Hmhm. Thanks Abby, I'll be careful out there. You go find a nice spot and I'll see you in a bit, out there." Zuri then kissed her on the forehead and walked over to go sign in and everything.

Abby smiled warmly, "You're welcome. And I know you'll be careful, and I also know you'll do great. Don't be nervous, you'll do fine." She stepped back and took a good long look at him, but eventually turned to leave, waving behind her as she did. She walked toward the arena seating area. It was set up like a football field, with the arena in the middle and the seats all the way around the outside. She wanted to get a good seat up front, so she was kind of glad they had gotten here early.
"He kisses me like he's my uncle." She muttered after she was out of earshot from Zuri, thinking in amusement.

((Heeeey, he's just tall. Unless she stood up for a kiss then ha.))
Zuri then walked in. There were lines of people everywhere. He wasn't sure what to do so he just went over to the one that had registration above it. There were about 3 other guys in line. One of them was fully decked out in armor, another had just a plate of armor on, and the other just had a massive axe behind him and shin guards and a helmet. "Geesh, this is gonna be fun, all the guys here look nuts." Zuri thought to himself. But for now all he could do is wait in line and hope no one picks a fight with him just yet.

((Or he could have bent down. Ha! XD))
It seemed like Abby had to walk up a hundred flights of stairs before she could get to the top of the arena, where the 'fans' were supposed to sit. People were already starting to crowd in, but she was lucky enough to get a seat in the front row. She peered down into the arena, gasping in excitement.
The arena was huge, as big as a city. And inside the large arena, were six secluded separate arenas. They were small in comparison to the whole arena, but still large by themselves. The audience was placed up so high so that they would be able to see all six of the smaller arenas at once. It was at that point that she figured six pairs of fighters would be fighting at once; she would have to keep an eye on Zuri and Strips at the same time. She even noticed a few people going into the arena and warming up. "I hope Strips gets here soon. It looks like their going to start at eleven instead of twelve."

After a little while of standing Zuri was able to get in. There were now a few behind him now and he was up next. He stepped forward and the prompter said, "Find name please." he said in a dull low voice.
Zuri looked at the paper in the middle and saw that they were in order of first name. He first saw Strips and then looked at the very bottom due to his name starting with a Z. "Uhh, right there, very bottom. Names Zuri."
"Alright, sign here and then go to the waiting room."
Zuri signed and left the strange man. He went left from where he was. He walked down a hallway and entered this room. There were several people in the room. Most were big burly Darigans with large plates of armor. Zuri noticed the two men that were in front of him. He just found himself a small corner and sat down and waited.

Strips arrived not a minute too late; Jaz was waiting for him by the gate. "Come on, man, you're gunna be late. And yes, I already know the deal; watch Zuri's actions and study how he fight, look for any weak points."
Strips smiled and nodded, "You've gotten too good at this."
"Yeah, just get goin' already. They're about to start." Jaz paused, nodding toward the door. "Oh and Strips, nice outfit," he winked.
Strips smiled, shaking his head and running into toward the check-in line. He did have a pretty nice outfit on; he had a chest plate on to protect his heart, it was made out of thick leather and black armor. A sword was sheathed and slung across his back. Multiple daggers were hidden in compartments around his ankles and upper arms. Two larger daggers were sheathed at his sides, and he wore leather biker-gloves with spikes on the knuckles. He wanted to be sure he never ran out of weapons.

Zuri stood there in the waiting room. There was an announcer in the background telling all of the rules to the stands. There was also a man stating the rules to the men in the room. There were only 10 men in there thus far. Zuri wasn't sure where Strips was. If Strips got there to late he was gonna be fighting no one right off the bat and would have a free round. Zuri was getting bored. He knew the basics. Keep fighting till you can't anymore. Try not to kill your opponent but killing was allowed if your oppenent doesn't give up in time or the ref doesn't end the fight in time, so basically killing was discouraged. They were going to be 6 total large arenas within a cirlcular area. They said after they were done stating the rules and the announcer outside was done then the battle was going to begin. So Zuri continued to sit there and concentrate and prepare for the battle ahead.

Right as Zuri sat down, a referee entered the waiting room and began pairing people up. He paired Zuri up with some random guy, and then practically threw both of them into the arena. The referee continued pairing random people up, when he discovered that two people were missing. He didn't think it was that big of a deal; it would just mean that one of the arenas would be empty, but then Strips rushed in before the referee could finish. Strips also ended up getting paired with some random guy, and that left one guy to hope his opponent showed up within the next ten minutes.

Zuri landed with a thud as he was practically thrown into the arena. "How gentlemanly of you." He said. He stood up and looked at his opponent, it was the axe guy.
"Bring it on punk. I'm gonna show you a hole new world of pain. Pain that you've never experienced before. A hole new spectrum of pain....." The guy carried on as he walked around Zuri, twirling his axe and sword and such.
"Oh good grief man. Why did I get paired with this loser." Zuri said as the guy was pretty much repeating what he had mocked to Abby about. Zuri took out his sword and waited." I'm waiting punk." Zuri stood ready as he waited for the guy to shut up and attack. Eventually he did and Zuri just blocked his attack and flamed him. Do to all the guys armor it really didn't go much but the guy was still cinged in a lot of places.
So the battles had begun and the tournament was on its way, still missing one person. Or two, Zuri wasn't sure if Strips had gotten in or not yet. Oh well, his own fault for being late.

Strips was placed in a separate area with his opponent, which was a darigan lupe. It seemed fitting, a canine and a feline being pared up together first. It was a young kid, too, couldn't have been more that eighteen years old. Strips smirked; this guy was going to be easy.
Meanwhile, Jaz made his way to the top of the stands. The tournament had already started, so the place was jam-packed. His eyes drifted up and down the staired rows until they landed on a familiar face up front. "Hey Abby!" Abby was her name, right? He walked over and squeezed beside her.
"Oh, hey Jaz." Abby smiled a greeting. "This is exciting, isn't it?"
"Sure is," the zafara replied, returning her smile. He looked down at the arena, finding both Strips and Zuri. Luckily they were in areas right next to each other so he could keep an eye on both of them. Even thought the tournament had technically started, no one was really fighting yet, but merely taunting their opponent. And one guy was left alone in the last area.
While Abby was watching, waiting for the actual fighting to start, her head began to throb. She felt dizzy and disoriented. "Hey Jaz, I think I'm going to use the restroom. Will you save my seat?"
Jaz looked over at her, tilting his head in concern; she was as pail as a ghost, it looked like all the color had been drained out of her. "Yeah, sure. Are you alright? Do you need me to go with you?"
Abby was already standing and walking briskly away, "No, I'm fine." She got all the way down the arena stairs before dropping to her knees. Digging her claws into her temple, she growled loudly and threw her front on the ground, pounding her skull into cement repeatably. Her back curved sharply before arching internally. As her claws grew longer, she dug them into the ground, leaving claw marks in the cement. Her wings spread fully against her will; something cracked, but the location of the sound wasn't known.
After five minutes, she sat up promptly, threw her fists in the air, and growled almost victoriously. With her growl came thunder and lightning from above; the forecast said rain, after all. It was just a funny coincidence that it happed at the same time she turned. Abby now looked up at the sky with pure black eyes.
Standing, she walked to the check in counter right before the man closed the metal gate. Clicking her long claws against the marble top, she sneered and said "I'm here." Needless to say, the man was just a wee bit freaked out.
"Uh, yeah, sure, right over there." He pointed inside. "It'll be the last area still open. And, uh, good luck....though I don't think you'll need it." That last part was just a whisper to himself.
Still smiling mischievously, Abby turned and walked inside the waiting room, and then into the last area to face her opponent; the gate closed behind her.
