Cera smiled and took it, unwrapping it and putting it in her mouth. It tasted so good next to the coconut and all the sea water she had been eating and drinking lately. "Thanks." She said after a moment. She looked though all the stuff, "So you're a doctor?" She said noticing all the equipment, half of it broken but still recognizable.

"In-training. I was going to do work at Krawk Island, but 'course the plane crashed. Still, gives me a good opportunity to check out these islander's methods and stuff." he replied, enjoying the lime lollypop. "I used to work in the Hospital at Neopia Central for a while, for work experience." He shrugged. "I just want to help people."

Cera smiled, "That is a good reason..." She said, taking the lolly pop out when she talked, "I had a really bad cut on my side when we arrived here and they gave me some awful tasting stuff but it worked and healed my cut..." She said, sticking the lolly pop back in her mouth and lifting up her shirt just enough to look at the scar that now lie in the place of the cut.

He re-adjusted his glasses. "Well it seems to have healed it pretty well, do you know how deep the cut was to begin with? 'Cos if it was deep, then that stuff works great if it's only been a few days."
He laughed. "That'll be a story to tell your family when you get back. 'Hey guys, look what happened to me!'"

Cera shrugged at his question, "I don't really remember, it was all blurry... Dhia carried me to shore and we dragged our selfs on this path till we got to the village... I don't remember much, I conked out after they gave me that potion stuff..." She admitted pulling her shirt back down and looking down. "If I ever see my family again..." She said doubting that they were ever really going to get off of this cruddy island.

"Cheer up, sugar's meant to make you smile." He said, referring to the red lollypop. "We'll get out of here somehow. I know, because those islanders have silk, which means they probably trade with other regions in the area." Ves emptied the suitcase out onto the sand, and found a map.
"See - that's where we were meant to land, and there's several islands around there." he said, spreading it out and pointing. "Chances are, we're on one of these islands, which aren't the mainland."

Cera looked at the map, the clouds rolling away, there might actually be a chance.... "So Sucuel wasn't lying when he said he might know a way off!!" She said smiling. She looked at the map a few moments longer, "So you have seen the village people?" She asked, she wasn't quite sure if he had encounter them yet or not.

"Not exactly. I went in there to search for food and they uh," he paused uncomfortably. He was a doctor, but he wasn't exactly 'macho'. "They uh, sorta chased me out of town."

Cera nodded, "They did the same to Dhia, they must not like males or something.... they didn't seem to have a problem with me." She said but her statement made her feel uneasy about the villagers now. "Ummm, maybe if I bring you there we can get some food." She said. That was what she and Dhia were going to do but things got complicated and it never happened...

"Well are you sure? If they chase me out that leaves you in there by yourself, especially with him hanging around." He said, concerned. "We could probably scout for food around here but I guess you've had enough of anything that comes from a beach by now."
Judging by Cera's look, he sighed.
"Fine, we'll go in there, but if they chuck me out be careful."
