"It's ok, don't worry. I forgive you. Ves-" he thought for a moment, trying to find the right words that would up his situation, "Ves is a liar. He's trying to split us up - he's a very jealous person." Dhia felt better - she'd stopped yelling, increasing his chances of getting off this stupid island.

Cera somewhat agreed, "Well I don't think I can fly back tonight... I am too tired and I can't see." She confessed. She looked around the island, it wasn't much... "How did you get on this island anyway?" She asked the thought suddenly comming to her. She sat down on the cold sand, it was definatly midnight now and the only light was the moon and clusters of stars.

Glad to change the subject, Dhiablos continued to walk with her down the beach.
"Well, I saw something in the water, I think it was part of the plane wreck or something - anyway, I was swimming and suddenly something pulled me down. I nearly drowned." He sighed and put his arm around Cera. "Then I woke up in this cave underground, followed it and came up through a trapdoor, somewhere over there-" He gestured behind them vaguely. "-anyway, it was horrible. I nearly forgot about you. I think this must be an island where the natives take strangers out to die."

Cera gently grabed the hand that was draped on her shoulder, "Sucuel said something about you going for a swim..." SHe said looking back, "Maybe we should go back to the village.. they weren't that mean and if we don't get some food soon then I highly doute we will remain very long on this island..." she said gravely. She stopped when she noticed Ves's fire on the main Island. "Lets rest here for the night..." she said sitting down and pulling Dhia down with her.

Dhia sighed and sat down. What a day. Cera had nearly been onto him thanks to stupid Ves. Dhia looked over at the firelight in the distance. Ves was sitting there, glaring straight at him.
If it wasn't for Cera sitting there, Dhia would probably have either made a rude gesture with his hands, or yell at him. Instead, he kept quiet and played with the glowing mushroom absent-mindedly.
"So what happened to you?" he said suddenly. "After the natives chased me off?"

"I don't really remember..." Cera said looking at Dhia, "All of the sudden I woke up in this tent and I couldn't find you then Sucuel, the chief's son, wouldn't let me go find you..." She said frowning just thinking about it, "He dragged me around the whole village showing me every little possable thing he could but then I ran off to find you." She was her face turning back to normal, "I couldn't find you, I saw your footprints leading to the ocean but none comming back," She said remembering what happened, "I thought you were dead honestly, I thought the natives killed you..." She said her voice a lot more quiter now, "Then I met Ves..." Her voice had changed back to its normal volume but now had a hateful tone to it.

"Yeah, Ves is an idiot. Don't listen to anything he says, he's just a liar." replied Dhia, staring across the ocean towards Ves' fire.
Ves turned and saw Dhia and Cera together. Cera seemed happy. "He lied AGAIN!" said Ves furiously, clenching his fist. He couldn't believe it. Dhiablos had wormed his way out of it again.

"Well I better get some sleep if I am going to fly us back to the Island tomorrow..." Cera said interlocking her fingers with his and resting her head on Dhia's shoulder. She watched the flickering flames of the fire across the ocean until her eyes grew heavy, "Night..." She whispered to him, kissing him on the cheek, and closing her eyes.

"Goodnight." he whispered back, only to realise that Cera had long since nodded off. He sighed dully and closed his eyes. He was tired. Oh so tired.
Sunlight leaked through Ves' eyelids, forcing them open. He opened his eyes groggily and coughed. His mouth was dry and salty. Reaching for his hat, he shook the sand from it, and sat up, stretching his legs. It was early, the sun was only just peeking over the ocean. Ves always got up early.

Cera found herself laying down, her head on Dhia's chest and her arms hugging him around his waist. Sunlight hit her face in an uncomfotable manner, she was still so tired but forced herself to open her eyes anyways. The color drained from her face as her eyes adjusted to the light, there across the beach was a skull looking straight at her with it's hallow eyes. Cera screamed and pushed away from Dhia and the skull that was about three feet away from them, "Dhia!" she yelled in terror, still trying get farther away from that sight.

"wuzgoinon?" Dhia said grumpily, sitting bolt upright. It felt like he'd only gone to sleep a few seconds ago. He turned his head slowly to see a pale, high-stung Cerarose. He follwed her line of sight dazedly, then rolled his eyes. "oh come on, Cera..." he said, rolling back onto the sand comfortably, "itz justa skull.. s'already dead.." He shut his eyes determinedly and tried to go back to sleep.

Cera still didn't like the fact that there was dead people on the beach that they were sleeping on. She slowly inched closer to Dhia, her eyes still fixed on the skull. "Sorry, it just," She paused looking away from the skull and back at Dhia, "scared me.." She looked across the beach and saw smoke from the smoldering fire across the way, she could also see movement... Cera looked back down at Dhia and sighed, "Still tired?" She asked fully awake from her little scare.

"Doesn't matter, I'm already awake." Dhia stretched and got up, brushing sand from his hair and clothes. He didn't like early mornings. At all. Still, if he was gonna get off this rock, then he'd better get up with Cera.
He walked over to the skull and picked it up. It was pretty old, and there were teeth missing. Dhiablos shrugged and kicked it out to sea.

Cera scowled, "Good..." She said getting up and brishing the sand that clung to her clothes. SHe looked around the island for something to eat, ignoring the sight of Dhia in the corner of her eye. "When we get back to the main island do you want to go back to the village or what??" She asked knowing that the natives probally had tents full of food to eat. "Cuse if not we can always camp out with Ves..." She said knowing that was just the opposite of what he wanted to do.

"Hmm, should we dine with the terrible islanders that tried to murder me or the backstabbing, pain-in-the-nech that Ves is." He smiled, and helped Cera look for something edible on the tiny island they were on. "That's a tough riddle, Cera."
