Alisa was silent as she listened to Aly, but her curiosity still wasn't settled. "Okay... But you didn't really answer my question." Her question having been how Aly knew Star was in trouble. "But since you've explained all that, I have another question. Why were people suspicious of Star?" Bringing a human to neopia didn't sound that bad; she saw humans in neopia all the time, she even knew a few that lived in neopia. She mostly saw humans in neopia central; she didn't see too many in the lost desert, where she lived. "And just one final question," she added, "what do you plan on doing about it?"

"Well" Aly started "Star disapers alot and there are some humans who would be shocked to find neopets on there planet and what I plan on doing about it you ask." A ditermend smirk came over her face. "I'm going to help her and I'm going to Earth."

Alisa couldn't help but chuckle, "Going to Earth, hmm? And how do you plan on accomplishing this?" She continued to lean forward on her staff, and she now had her head resting on both her hands. Her fingers were curled tightly around the top of the gold piece on her staff, and her long, black hair now fell over her shoulders.

Alisa looked around wide-eyed. She took a set forward, one of her hoofs crunching already broken glass as she did. "How did... Where'd..." She paused taking a deep breath, "Never mind I don't think I want to know. Perhaps this is a bad time to mention this, but I have a two-year-old son at home, and I left him with an emotionally unstable babysitter." Walking away from Aly, she peered out of the alley and into the street, looking around cautiously. It was true that she had a son at home, but she liked adventure as much as the next guy. "Oh well, I'm sure they'll be fine."

"Great" Aly said. Then a loud screem came from the street "Oh my gosh! what are those things!?!" A human yelled "Alisa." Aly started "Run!"

"Just a walking, talking cow, I swear," Alisa replied to the strangers, laughing nervously. She clearly wasn't being serious. A few humans began coming toward them, and Alisa did her best to push them back with her telekinesis. She heard Aly yell 'run', and replied, "Right behind you." She took off running after Aly.

Alisa turned her head back to look behind her, "Well I could understand why. Most humans are too closed-minded to comprehend creatures similar to animals that can walk and talk." She just kind of followed Aly, trusting she knew where she was going. Her eyes drifted to the two humans, one being a male and the other female, but she did nothing.

Alisa took a step backward as police vehicles began coming into the area. She had never seen anything like them before; she had never even seen a car before. She didn't know what to do. "Alysong, what's going on here?" she asked, ears pinning back.

Alisa took another step backward, her heart now pounding in her chest. They were still in the alley, and with these cops blocking their way out, Alisa didn't see how they would escape. "I can't hold them all," she whispered, thinking about using her mental abilities to push them back as well. She didn't even try it; she knew it would be useless.
These guys were already starting to draw their guns, hiding behind the doors of their cars and ordering Alisa and Aly to 'get down'. Then, suddenly, one of them really trigger-happy people's finger twitched, and a shot ran out.
Alisa closed her eyes tightly at that exact moment, and when she opened them again, a single bullet floated in mid air right in front of her. Alisa let out a long sigh of relief; her whole, long, life had flashed before her eyes.
Other police officers were cocking their guns, looking curiously at the bullet just floating there.
"I can't stop them all," she repeated, this time more loudly.

Alisa once again concentrated hard; she held up her right hand this time, and clutched her staff tightly with her left hand. As she concentrated and there were more and more bullets for her to stop, her staff began glowing a bright yellow. The bullets slowed to a stop right before their eyes; it looked like something out of x-men.
She was concentrating too hard to remember to use her mouth to talk, so she thought she would send Aly a message through her thoughts. Any ideas on how to get out of here? she asked telepathically.
