"Do you mind if I tag along?" Roni asked hopefully, her eyes shining. "I'd love to come!!"
Ara was really nervous about leaving without Lucy, but somehow Cera's offer was really tempting. Part of her wanted to go, part wanted to stay. But a few whispers in her head nudged her toward going, and so she smiled and told Cera that that sounded like fun and she'd love to.

Trei almost didn't realize someone was talking to her at first. But then she turned to him and said, "Oh. Um, I'm not really sure. Who are you?"
When Trei's friend started running, Daani was about to stand up and walk over to confront the witch, but she suddenly had another person talking to her. Growling a little, Daani sat back down, but only for a moment. Because at that moment, her eyes locked onto the person talking to Trei.
"Lue," she breathed, almost not believing it.
And then she found herself growing tense and wanting to run away. Her heart was pounding in her ears and she sunk back against the bench seat, resisting the urge to flee. It had been eight years... and here Lue was, standing less than twenty feet away from her. So close.... she could almost smell his smoke...
Vi meanwhile was trying to run away from Rasi, who she knew was chasing her. She broke through the crowd and hid behind a building, hoping that he wouldn't find her. She panted heavily and sank to the ground, trying to catch her breath.

Cera clapped in glee, "Great!" She said, she could feel Ara warming up to her. "Are you buying something or can we go now?" She asked, looking around to see if they had any shoes or anything picked out.

"I would be Lue, Rasi's brother..." Lue said and held out a hand to her.

Rasi was right on her tail one moment and then lost site of her the next. He slowed his pace to a jog and then to a walk as he looked around wildly. "Where'd she go.......?" He said to himself, feeling a familiar feeling of left by Vi. (He passes her as he is walking around)

"No, we can go now," said Ara quickly. "I was dragged in here, really. Against my will." She smiled.

Vi saw Rasi pass by her, and as he did, she gasped, clasped her hands over her mouth, and brought her knees up to sit in a ball. She was shaking violently with terror. Just the mere sight of him, so close, made a steady river of tears flow from her eyes. She bit on her fingers and lip to keep from making any noise, until her lip started to bleed a little. She felt so horrible, and she knew Rasi would kill her if he found her. Her heart ached with the pain of the reality of what she had done. Why had she done that? It had only hurt her, and probably killed him inside. She loved him so much. Seeing him right now, she knew that. She'd never stopped loving him even after all this time. It would be so much easier to deal with what she'd done if she didn't love him. But it hurt her so much because she had done that to him. She cried even harder, and it took an unnecessary amount of strength to try to stifle it.

Trei took and shook Lue's hand. "I'm Trei," she said with a smile. "I'm Vi's sister. She's the one that just ran off. You probably already know the situation between her and Rasi."
She knew very well what the 'situation' was, but she was playing dumb because it really was none of her business.

Phyn and Omega echanged glances again, and Phyn shrugged. Omega turned his head to face Roni again.
"Why not? He always gets plenty of extra tickets anyway."
Phyn was digging through her bag, shoving aside notebooks and pencils as she searched for the tickets.
"Darnit, I don't have them right now. We could meet you in front of the threatre-"
"PHYN! There you are. I've been looking everywhere for you." Phyn turned sharply and a flame colored korbat fought her way towards them, her glasses bouncing against her chest on their chain. In her arms was a bundle of fabric, one nearly the same dark red as Omega's cloak.
"Hey, Kiki" Phyn replied, sending an apologetic look at Roni before turning back to the Korbat, who was wrestling one of the green peices out. It turned out to be the dress she had made Phyn, dark green and gold, and looking rather like it came from Shenkuu ((I really need to get a picture of it up XD)).
"I need to see how it looks, in case I need to grab anything before tonight. Will you just hold still." Tookei exclaimed, quickly twirling her glasses up to her face and examining the dress she was holding up the Phyn.
"I told you earlier it was fine, Kiki."
"Yeah, but we're in Neopia Central! Going to the premier of a play. It has to be perfect, not just good, if it's going to be noticed. Remember you're modeling for me tonight, Phyn."
"How could I forget." the ruki replied sarcastically as the younger girl surveyed her work.
Omega gave a small snort, turning back to Roni.
"Sorry about that. Anyway, we could meet you here with your ticket. Do you need any for anyone else?" he asked, gesturing toward the faerie xweetok who had been with her.

Cera laughed, "Well then right this way then!" She said with even more excitement then before. She led her out the glass doors of the shoe store, waving to Sarah to let her know that she was leaving. She swiftly moved through the people in the streets, checking behind her every so often to make sure Ara was close behind her. They arrived at the ice cream place and grabbed a spot at the bar. "Wow, they got some new flavors..." She said as she sat down on the stool.

Rasi continued to glance around, she couldn't have gone far.... He slowly started walking back, checking any place she could have slipped into. Then he saw her. She was curled up, head in hands, sobbing uncontrollably. He hesitated but walked up to her. "There you are..." He said in his low deep voice. "Whats with all the fuss? I'm the one upset here." He pointed out, leaning against the other wall of the alley, waiting for her response.

Lue shrugged and shook his head, "No clue... Must be bad. He only tells me about the good relationships." He said and chuckled to himself.

Roni pulled out of her purse some money saying, "Sure, if you can buy four. How much is one?"

Trei could sense sudden fear coming from Daani, who she'd been keeping a watch on. She didn't turn her head, but she prodded through the Aisha's mind carefully. It wasn't hard to find anything; she had all the memories of Lue already up front in her mind anyway. Trei studied them and within thirty seconds knew everything that had happened during her time with Lue eight years ago. She felt no desire to poke in Lue's head--she had nothing against him--and instead said, "Oh, well, they had a really... interesting adventure back in January on Terror Mountain. Long story short, they fell in love, but she ended up leaving him for dead on the top of the mountain." She almost winced at the harshness of the truth of it.

Vi's eyes widened at the sound of Rasi's voice, and she stared in horror at the ground, and then looked away. She missed his beautiful voice. She was so scared... nearly choking on her sobs, she stood up weakly and, not looking at him, attempted to leave, but her walk was slow and weak.

"I want chocolate," Ara said, eyes wide at all the many flavors. She could barely remember the taste of ice cream, or chocolate; it'd been so long since she'd had any of either. She smiled at Cera, feeling a little more calmer and at ease with her old friend.

"Oh wow...." Lue said with astonishment. He was kind of mad at Rasi for him not telling him this though. "I guess I'll leave them be then." he said and started walking back towards where they came from, "Nice talking to ya." He called, not turning back around to say it or anything.

Rasi grabbed her by the shoulders, not hard and anger filled but not gentle either. "Hey! I said something to you! You're not leaving me now!" He said and spun her around so that she was facing him. He could tell that she was hurting now. For whatever reason that was. He was just too blinded by the rage that he really didn't care. He wanted answers though and he wanted them now....

Cera smiled, "I need one scoop of Bubblegum on a cone and one scoop of chocolate on a cone please." She told the cashier. She nodded, pushing buttons and stuff at the register then swiftly turned around to fix their orders. "So, how have you been?" Cera asked, turning to Ara.

Trei watched as Lue walked away, and when she looked back at the bench, Daani was gone. She narrowed her eyes, but walked after Lue, in the direction of Roni, Ara and Lucy. She'd leave Vi and Rasi alone. No doubt they had some serious things to discuss.
Daani had fled into the building behind her, and was at the counter ordering up a drink. The bartender looked at her skeptically. "Hey, are you eighteen?" he asked.
"The drinking age is twenty-one," she told him irritably.
"Oh. Okay." He then gave her the beer she wanted and she started to drink it. This wasn't part of the plan, getting drunk. Today was dangerous. She needed to be on her toes and alert. But seeing Lue made things different. She wanted to get drunk. Drunk, and forget she saw him.

Vi looked into Rasi's angry emerald eyes for the first time in months, and her sobs came out harder again. "I'm... so... sorry!" she cried, though it sounded so lame and meaningless. Now that she was talking, she couldn't stop. "I didn't mean to... well, I did, but I felt so bad afterwards... I almost went back to find you, but..." She put her hands to her eyes again. "I'm such a stupid idiot!! I can't help myself! You don't understand, Rasi. You don't know what I've done, what I've gone through... anytime someone gets close to me, and I start to become happy, something snaps inside me, and I have to abandon it or destroy it or..." She walked away from him, deeper into the alley, and fell to her knees, sobbing into her hands.
"Rasi, I loved you so much, and you were so kind to me... I was so happy... and I don't know why, but I can't let myself be happy! It's horrible... and I hate it! I hate what I am and what I've done! I hate myself and I hate how you make me love you so much, even after all this time! I wish I could hate you... then this would be a lot easier. But I can't!! You did NOTHING to make me hate you, and I repaid you by hurting you...." She couldn't talk anymore. All she could do was cry.

"I've been fine," Ara lied, forcing a convincing smile on her face, taking her cone once it was handed to her. "How have you been in the last four years since I've seen you?" She sniffed the chocolate for a moment, and then licked it. Oh. She'd forgotten how good chocolate was.

Cera's bubblegum cone appeared right after Ara's. It too was pink like her skin with other color sprinkles in it. Cera smiled and licked her own cone, "Very good! I've been at school a lot though. I want to be a hair dresser or something. I'm not too sure. But yeah I've been working at that and whatnot." She said and took another lick of her ice cream.

Rasi wasn't expecting that. He let her go as she drifted away and just watched her as she fell to the floor again. He really hoped someone didn't see this. Vi was practically bawling her eyes out. "Well...." He muttered, not too sure what to say at this point. He went back over to the wall and sat down with his back against it. This didn't clear things up at all... Actually it made things worse.

Lue could smell the girl's scent still close by. He was moving away so it should have faded by now. He glanced behind him and gave her a questioning look, "Is something I can help ya with Trei?" He asked with a confused tone.

"Don't worry about paying. Ix gave us 6 to try and give away before the performance. He always gets plenty extra and it's so late notice no one would buy them," Phyn replied, as Tookei released her to attack Omega, pulling a red and bronze cloak from the armful.
"I fixed the length, tell me if it's right this time." the korbat said, sliding her glasses back up her nose.
Phyn slipped back over to Roni as Omega manuevered further away so Tookie's fussing would be out of the way.
"Plus they almost had to cancel the production, so a lot of people returned their tickets and their selling them cheaper to make up for it. Seems like the original actor for Ix's part is reacting badly to the atmosphere, or something, and his understudy got sick. Ix was the only person they could find who knew the part by heart and could do a decent job."

"Agh, it looks terrible!" shrilled a voice suddenly.
The christmas kyrii leaning against the wall sighed and rolled her deep blue eyes, "Oh, come on Vixcy. It can't be that bad."
"Yes it is..." pouted the aisha as she exited the fitting room, wearing a bright red summer dress with the tags still attached. She began to fret over her reflection in the full length, paneled mirror.
Checkr watched her for a moment, then sighed, standing up. "It looks FINE. It's just the color. Your fur's purple, after all...clashes."
Vixcy automatically brightened up. "Maybe I'll try it in pink? Or they have it in yellow..."
"Sure...." Checkr slumped back against the wall... She loved her sister to death, and shopping was normally a fun activity, but they had been here for quite some time and she was starting to grow bored.

Saluki and Skypii sat upon a park bench, their bright clothing and strange manners (the wocky, rather than sitting on the bench, floated a foot or so above it) drawing quite a few stares from passerby. The gelert was happily licking a huge rainbow lollypop nearly as big as her head, while the wocky was popping marshmallows into his mouth, one by one, with practiced ease, the bags at their feet illustrating a prior visit to the Candy Factory.
Umber slouched on the end of the bench, a grumpy expression on her face. Leave it to Starling to make her in charge of her two most annoying siblings. She despised that girl, and entertained an idle daydream of burning the house down. Well, there was a bright side... Atleast Nerrone wasn't around... The lupess grimaced just at the thought of her blood sister, and sat up, crossing her booted legs at the ankles.
Skypii was staring at her, large red eyes glowing, "Want one?" he asked, holding a marshmallow in his hand, voice muffled by the fact that his mouth was also full of them. Umber scowled, and the offered marshmallow suddenly burst into flame, illicting a frightened shriek from the wocky.

A girl walked by on the street, face buried in a map. She was simply dressed in jeans and a black t-shirt proclaiming "HI MOM", and as far as dress was rather normal looking aside from the large paper bag she wore over her head. A group of Neopets trailed behind her; Nerrone, Vann, Drift, and four gelert pups, looking to be about 7 or 8 in age. Suddenly she stopped, causing Vann to bump into her, and pointed dramatically, "THERE IT IS!"
The theatre towered over them, posters proclaiming that the performance of the Phantom would be today. "Everyone got their tickets?" Starling questioned, looking at each of the group in turn.
"Daaaaad!" pouted one of the children, a yellow gelert. She wore a jean skirt and a pink shirt proclaming 'Princess'. Her shoulder-length brown hair was held back with butterfly clips, "I lost my ticket!"
"No Krystal... I have all of them." The shadow gelert said reassuringly, producing the thin slips of paper and doling them out to his children. "Don't lose them."
She, along with Coyote, his only son, pocketed it silently, and he had to chase down the other two - his other daughters, Kita and Cora were trying to climb into the fountain infront of the theatre, yelling, "WATCH THIS, AUNTIE NERRONE!"
The children were all accordingly rounded up, tickets produced, and the group approached the theatre.

Trei blinked when Lue spoke to her, and said, "Oh, no, sorry, I'm just, my sisters are over there." She pointed in the direction they both happened to be going in. She smiled sheepishly. "Sorry about that. Unless, like, you're doing something interesting. I'm kind of bored."

"Well, then, thank you," said Roni with a smile. "What time's it start?" She couldn't wait to see Ix again, and on stage! How exciting. She looked at a clock nearby; it was about ten to two. She wondered briefly why Lucy hadn't come back yet and where her sisters had wandered off to, but thought little of it. They all knew how to be on their own. Well, most of them did anyway. But Ara wasn't alone, she had Cera.

Vi gasped for breath and put her fist by her mouth to bite on and stop crying. It was hard. She pulled her fist from her mouth and asked him, "Well? Are you going to say anything?" Then she pulled her knees up to her chin and looked away. "It's okay, you know, you can kill me. I'll gladly die if you're the one who takes my life... because there's no one else for me. You're my end-all-be-all. I will never love anybody else. And I'll never let anybody else kill me if I have anything to say about it." She looked at him quickly, then away again. "I've been a horrible person. I don't deserve to live."
((Jeez, with that attitude, I don't think Vi deserves the grace of Death, either xD;))

Ara didn't want to worry her old friend, so she put on a smile and pretended everything was hunky-dory. "That's awesome," she said enthusiastically. "You'd be really good at that. You'll probably do really well with whatever it is you want to do." She grinned and continued to eat her ice cream. "Me, I haven't really been to school in awhile... Roni and Trei are the only ones who have graduated high school in my family. I dropped out in my junior year."

Yeah, yeah, it was too early to be getting drunk and whatnot, and she knew she could possibly die if something bad happened and she was smashed, but Daani didn't care much at the moment. This is it, she thought miserably. Eight years of waiting, and finally I can end this hellhole I call my life. I just have to find Lue and talk to him before whatever shit's going to happen today kills me.... and then I'll finally be able to kill myself.
It sounded like a great plan. Only problem was, she didn't know where to find Lue or when the bad things today would happen. She groaned into her beer, which she pushed aside. She pulled out a few bucks to cover it and headed for the door. She was only buzzed, thankfully. She'd feel better soon. But she had to find Lue. So she started shoving sluggishly through the crowd for him, going in the opposite direction of where he actually was.

"I need to find my sister and little brother...." Lue said with a shrug, "I don't know if you consider that exciting." He chuckled a bit. "I think they're somewhere over there." He thought out loud, looking over a crowd of people.

Rasi shut his eyes and ground his teeth together, "Shut up, just shut the fuck up. If you really love me with this crazy passion that you're talking about then you wouldn't have run. You wouldn't have left me. You would have stayed," He growled. He let out a sigh after a few moments and shut his eyes again.

"Oh?" Cera said with some concern, "Are you going to go back to school or was that it?" She said with a slight frown.

Azura brought Ze over to the check out counter with his purchase. He eagerly handed the cashier his money and flashed a bright grin as he got his necklace in return. He quickly pulled it out, ripped off the tag, and put it on. "Yeah that looks good on you too." Azura said as he threw the bag and trash at her and ran to the mirror. She laughed and took his hand again, "Come on, lets find everyone else." She said and pulled him away from the store and into the crowded streets.

((I'll just be finishing everything up here so we can be ready for a timeskip. I'm not sure what anyone's doing besides Rasi and Vi, so I don't know how ready we are for that.))
Phyn glanced around for a clock, eventually finding the one Roni was looking at.
"It starts around 5:30. We'll probably be getting there earlier to inf dour seats alright and everything. So, why don't we meet up around 5:10? That gives us plenty of time to deal with any problems that might come up and get our seats."
Tookei had finished with Omega and was now standing patiently by the door, a smile on her face as she held the bundle of sloth. Omega was standing over her, watching Phyn and Roni.
"So...I guess we'll see you then. Oh, and it's semi-formal dress, if that matters at all to you." Phyn concluded, turning to leave with the other two.

Gorrio caught sight Tookei leaving the store across from the theatre and hurried over to catch them. ((Bleh, short))

"Could you make that part a bit bigger?"
"Absolutly."
"Gracious, it looks horrible! I could never have gotten it this good, no matter how much makeup I used."
"Well, that is what I'm here for, isn't it?"
"Can I open my eyes yet?"
"No."
The lupe sitting in the chair sighed, his eyes closed as his makeup artist and the illusionist they'd hired moved around him, checking their work from various angles. He couldn't feel the magic at all, so it just felt as if they two had forced him to sit still for a few hours for nothing. His dark red hair was brushed back from his face, out of the way of two as they worked on the illusion he would be wearing during the play.
"We're almost done, Cirxel. And once we get this done the sorceror here says he can just bring it up as is, which is what we need."
"Yeah, I know, but can I see is yet?"
"Oh, fine."
The peophin and acara stepped back as the lupe opened his eyes, revealing them to be a deep golden color.
"HOLY-" crash. Whatever curse the actor had decided to utter was interupted when he fairly jumped out of his seat, falling backward with the chair to crash into the floor.
The peophin started laughing, brushing some of the stray white hair from his ponytail out of his face. The lupe was staring at them in disbelief.
"That's not REAL, is it?"
"Not one bit. You aren't too familiar with magic, are you?"
"Well, actually, Shallo, I've seen a bit more of it than I should like." Ix resplied, recovering enough to climb to his feet and exame the illusion again. His face was completely disfigured on one side, and it looked impossibly real.
"I can't imagine what Smanatha's reaction to this will be." he said, turning to the two artists. Shallo was looking rather smug, his tail making a large swish behind him. As if on cue, there was a high pitched shreik, followed by the joking tone of one of the other stars.
"I have to kiss That?" Samantha asked, coming over curiously.
"Absolutly, my dear." Ix replied, taking on one of the many more sinister expression of his character. The effect was effective without the illusion, and with it Samantha took a step back.
"Well, I know I'll be doing an effective enough acting. You're positively frightening."
"Really? That was the point wasn't it." Shallo retorted, leaning on his staff watching the two.
"So, how's it going with that illusion?," their director said, walking onto the scene, "Good God, Ix, what happened to you." Everyone laughed, excluding the sorceror, who had become more a bystander in the affairs of the troupe.
"So, Sammy, have you tried kissing him yet."
"No, not yet."
"Well, you'd better give it a shot. Don't want you to ruin the ending by refusing to kiss him."
The bori gave a slight exclaimation at the small insult, huffing and pulling Ix over ot her, kissing him on the lips. Despite the illusion, possibly helped by the fact she had her eyes closed, it was just as it should be in the play. Ix allowed himself to be kissed, acting up the part.
Their director snorted, nodding and walking off.
"Just make sure you can do that this evening."
((Wow that was long. I actually didn't write everything I wanted, but oh well. I've been planning that for a while now ^^))
