A rather emoish song I wrote on Monday, February 12, 2007 when my friend Chu was ignoring me. XD

A kind smile
A joyful file
of a fun long while
with twenty thousand seventy million laughs
It says a lot

Twenty thousand secrets told leads to
Twenty thousand tears shed because
There's very few out there we can trust

Who are we?
What lies under our skins?
Who is the one that ignites our souls?
Who is the one that diffuses them?
Tell me, who are we, really?
Because suddenly,
I don't know...


For a heart opened,
a life broken?
Friendship is a danger to us all


No one is truly okay
we play with love that comes our way
And we'll kill everyone, someday.
But we're still just human.
And humans need to be loved.

how much of my pain

It makes no sense anymore.
nothing's simple anymore.
Everything's so complicated.
Stop it!

The lights leave, any trace
of life is gone.
Only the sound of
breathing; it rings
loud.

Heartbeat quickens, dashes
by. Was that the
enemy? But no, it
was only wild imagination, or so
told to sooth.

And the fortress walls
close in, yet grow weak; no
protection from
the dark blanket made of
silk creeping across
the floor.

Creak, and gasp for,
nothing. It slithers
under walls of fortress
and invades...
No savior, no protector,
from the blanket of
dark.

But then, oh, oh! A
cloud is moved, seen from
an open window;
a milky angel bursts on through,
power in the full.

And angel frightens away
the blanket, which
screams silently and recoils
to the corners.

The angel caresses a face,
and lulls the troubles
away, holding the hand
all night long,
keeping the blanket
from returning until both
have disappeared.

Ooh, nice. I like the song, and the poems nice too XD
I really don't write poetry, personally I hate it, but I ought to really start writing songs.. being in a band and all... ^^;;

That poem is about a little kid afraid of the dark, which is the "blanket", and is saved by the light of the moon coming out from behind a cloud, which would be the "angel".
