Abby looked up at Lue and nodded. "Yeah, I had planned on it. I was going to leave before the full moon, for your protection. I really didn't want to hurt my best friends so I wanted to get as far away from here as possible before I lost it." She walked up to Lue and nuzzled his chest. "But I really don't want to have to leave as long as you two will still have me around."

Lue was shocked to hear that he had actually been called a best friend... Yeah he had friends but they usually came and left without good byes or see you laters. He smiled and licked her cheek were the tears had stained her fur, "Then don't..." He said, giving her one more smile before he started walking again. His stomach growled, now that he was up and moving he needed some energy. Abby and Ku probably wouldn't eat seeing their reaction the last time he hunted but figured he would offer anyways, "I'm going to grab some grub, anyone want to join?" He asked already knowing their answers.

Abby smiled for the first time in a while, and usually she was a pretty happy person. "I think I can think of a couple of reasons to stick around." She said while glancing between Lue and Ku.

Abby wasn't sure how to react when Lue mentioned food. She was starving though still wasn't sure if she should eat in front of these two. However, she had just called them her best friends, surely they wouldn't mind too much. It was a little gross, but they were big boys; they could handle it. "Um, well, yeah. I suppose I could go for something....but I don't eat things that are dead."

Lue slowed his walking till she caught up, "Well then we'll just have to find two things to eat..." he smiled and entered the forestry. he would offer to eat whatever she had left over but he doubted it would taste good at all... It would save them from killing too much though. He shrugged and put his nose to the ground, stirring up dirt and sniffed around.

Abby watched Lue sniffing around, admiring his nose. She didn't have the greatest sense of smell. She could smell blood from a mile away, but other than that her nose wasn't that great. She did have near perfect hearing though due to large bat-like ears. Her ears turned in the direction of every sound. There seemed to be a few things to choose from nearby, though she probably wouldn't eat anything more than a petpet.....a large petpet though.

"I'm starving." said Ku, and climbed the nearest tree, looking for some sort of tree-mouse or fruit. He disappeared into the canopy, and only occasionally were his feet of tail visible.
A few moments later he returned with some sort of strange fruit in his jaw. It was a little bitter and quite starchy, but it was better than nothing.

Lue caught the scent of something nearby, it was pretty big though and he didn't think that he would be able to eat it all but he followed it anyway. Small animals usually stayed together anyways so he was sure he would be able to find something for the both of them. Sure enough there was a small ixi grazing on some grass in eyesight but he was also right about the size. He circled the ixi, trying to smell out smaller but only found a flock of Pteris. He hated Pteris, he didn't like the feathers and he could never catch them, darn things. He turned to Abby, "Well we either split the ixi or you can fish us out a couple of birds..." He said hating to have Abby do all the hunting be he knew he wouldn't be able to get anything but a tail feather off one of those birds...

((Ack, I'm so confused! Does anybody like anybody in this rp?? At first I was thinking Ku/Abby, but now I'm thinking Lue/Abby, and arghhhh! I spent two days reading 14 pages and found very little romantic scenes, just stuff about cupcakes. ))

Abby smiled and shook her head when she noticed that Ku was eating. There was no way she would eat that, even when she was alive. There were a few times when she had turned into a creature that was supposed to eat things like fruit, but she never could get used to the taste.

She followed behind Lue when he moved, eyeing the ixi. Honestly she would rather hunt by herself without the aid of a mortal. It was different when hunting with other creatures of the walking dead, but she found mortals to be too unpredictable. "You go for the ixi by yourself if you want it. I'll get a ptera." She wouldn't mind the feathers; not like they were going to get in her way.

Lue looked over at the ixi, "I can't eat that whole thing by myself!" He whispered so that neither of the preys would over hear. Yeah he had worked up a hell of an appetite but not that much... He shook his head, "I'll find something else..." He sighed and started sniffing around again. He was hoping Abby wouldn't mind catching him a pteri along with hers but she seemed to ignore that suggestion so he wasn't going to bring that up again.

Abby smiled and looked Lue over. With as big as he was, she was guessing that he could eat most of it by himself, but she'd never say that out loud. She nodded when he said he would find something else, and then silently started creeping towards the flock of ptera on the ground. Her shoulders started rolling back and forth when she stopped, preparing to pounce. When the time was right, she lept forward, claws extended. The flock tried to take to the air immediately, but for one of the ptera's she was too fast. A wicked smile crept onto her face as she listened to the squawks of the bird, who she was being careful not to kill with her claws; she didn't eat things that were dead. She wasted no time in sinking her fangs into the jugular of the ptera and sucking all the blood out. By the time she was done the ptera looked like a sack of bones and skin, and blood dripped from her fangs.

Ku coughed on his fruit - he'd not been smart enough to look away when Abby was eating. He decided best not to say anything, she was probably uncomfortable about eating in front of others as it is.

Lue continued to sniff around, his stomach yelling at him as he did. He finally found something else and followed it fast, wondering farther and farther from the other two. "Ah...." he said spying on a Wocky. He looked around his prey not seeing any others which was weird. He hesitated a bit but then went after it, jumping out of the bushes and grabbing it around the neck, just like he did Abby.

Lue started munching on his meal, happily, figuring that the others would finsh theirs by the time he was done.

Abby's eyes darted to Ku when he coughed, and she blinked a few times while staring at him but decided not to say anything. She merely lay down on the ground and started licking the blood from her paws and mouth. She was a feline after all, and a female at that; being clean was of the utmost importance to her. After she was clean, she picked up the body of the ptera and walked a little ways away. It was like it was in her genetic makeup to burry the things she killed, so that no one would find it later and see the puncture wounds; so that's what she did. She didn't have anything to burn the body with or she would have. After she was done, she went back and found Ku, figuring they would both wait there for Lue to return.
