Abby turned to face the cross bread when he sighed, noticing the puff of smoke in the process. Ah, another piece of the puzzle. It seemed obvious to her that he was part lupe, she just couldn't figure out the other part. Now what had she seen that breathed smoke? Shoyru, Scorchio, Skeith, Draik, but she figured she could cut the shoyru out because Lue had spikes and shoyru's didn't. She also thought she could cut the skeith out, because skeith's were huge and Lue wasn't nearly that big. So now out of a draik and a scorchio, which one was Lue? She was absolutely loving this puzzle, and she was determined to figure it out. At his question she chuckled, but had no answer for it. She didn't exactly eat, or at least not in the same way they did, but she was starving. However, she wasn't about to 'eat' in front of them. "No, I'm not. But if you two were hunting, I'd gladly join you." Even if she weren't going to 'eat' whatever they caught, it still might be fun to hunt with the two of them.

Great I'm starving and I was just trying to be, uhh, polite." he said making a weird face... Lue sniffed the ground again but the scent he was following earlier was lost in the process of finding Abby... Lue found another one, this one smelled like a cybunny which was perfect because he was the only one eating... He looked up and gave them a toothy grin, "Ok well, ummm, if all of you are comming then, ummm, follow me." he said not really smiling when he finished.

"Well, I'm not much of a hunter," said Ku, leaping off the branch and landing on the forest floor. "but I'll tag along with you."
He just smiled and followed Lue, his bushy, bi-coloured tail high. His thoughts turned to Lue, him being a hybrid and everything. Until today, Ku didn't even know there was such a thing as a hybrid, but he wasn't a closed-minded person, so he accepted it ok. Why Lue just couldn't see the positives about it though struck him as odd. Hmph.
I mean, being optmisitc isn't exactly going to solve all your problems, Ku thought, but it's better than nothing. It got me through some hard times. Perhaps he's just been teased or rejected a lot, so now his negativity comes naturally. Hmm.
Ku's face frowned, not really concentrating on where they were going.
But how can anyone live like that? It would drive me half mental.. He doesn't seem to like talking about it though. I wonder why that is. He's said something about 'both sides of the family', which suggests his parents were two different breeds or something.. hmm.

Abby leapt off of her rock to follow Lue, her wings opening and flapping once upon impact with the ground. As she started trotting behind Ku she said, “Nor am I.” But this wasn’t entirely true. She could hunt things just fine and with incredible accuracy, but it was the killing at the end that she had a problem with; which could explain why she was always hungry but never did anything about it. She was just fine with tagging along with the two males, but would probably only observe them hunting and not really join in.

It kinda anoyed him that he would be the one doing all the work but he did like to show off so it didn't anoy him that much... The scent was really strong now so he gestured for the others to wait behind while he fished out him meal. The cybunny was munchin gon some flowers behind a bush... Lue crept up behind it and blew out a burning hot jet of smoke. The bunny and the flowers around the bunny died and Lue happily trotted over to his prey and started munching on it gestering agin that he was done. He liked hunting, that was accually one thing that he was good at...

Abby sat down and patiently waited when Lue gestured her to wait behind. She observed his every move, hoping to collect more pieces to his puzzle, but when he actually killed the cybunny she found herself closing her eyes for a moment. She found it very interesting how Lue had killed the cybunny though; he had, in a way, cooked it and killed it at the same time. A cooked cybunny meant not as much blood…..Mmm, blood. The thought of blood gave her hunger pains, but as soon as she realized she was thinking about it she started cursing at herself inside her head. 'So much for not letting it control you.' At Lue’s second gesture she got up again and padded over to him. “Very well played.”

Lue looked up at her and smiled, he liked her, she hadn't asked what he was yet which made him feel like he wasn't so out of place... He finished his snack and got up, "So now what do you want to do?" he asked shoving the rest of the cybunny under a bush and wiping his face on his shoulder.

Ku shrugged. "I dunno."
He'd been taken aback by the killing of the cybunny- sure, he was a kougra, he was carnivorous, right? Well, sort of. He liked meat, but he couldn't bring himself to kill anything, he sort of ate stuff he found, on the ground. Like dead mice. Or fruit. Ku quite liked fruit. He didn't eat much really, he was quite thin. But then you'd need to be to be able to climb trees, quickly and quietly.
Ku sniffed the bush and resisted the urge to shudder. He had somewhat of a weak stomach.

Lue gave Ku a weird look, "I'm sorry did you want any?" he asked noticing him sniffing the bones, "I thought you said you weren't hungry..." Lue said feeling guilty that he had eaten it all. "I can get another one if you still are." Lue said getting up and sticking his nose to the ground. Lue liked hunting so this was no problem, but for some reason he had a notion the Ku didn't.

Abby slowly slid into a laying down position, observing the two of them. She only shrugged to answer Lue’s previous question. She didn’t care what she did or whom she did it with. She had no place to be at the moment, and these two males were greatly amusing her. She frowned when Lue offered to get Ku another cybunny; she really didn’t want to see that again. But she wasn’t going to say anything about it. If he did hunt another one, she’d just have to close her eyes…again.

"No, no, I'm fine. Really." Wuss though he was, he wasn't going to pretend that he'd be delighted to eat someone.
Ku jumped up to the nearest tree branch and lounged on it lazily, stabilizing himself by wrapping his tail around the branch. It was starting to get a little sunny, and a gap in the tree leaves allowed Ku a small patch of sunlight to bask in.

"Suit yourself..." Lue yawned, not really liking the plan to just lounge around but if that was what they were gonna do then he wasn't going to protest against it. He streched, spreading his wings to their full potential, which wasn't that big, and then laying down. He rested his head on his paws and wrapped his tail around his body, "You know sometime or another, we are going to have to find a way out of here..." He pointed out looking at the two of them, mostly Ku.

Abby fidgeted uncomfortable when she saw the sun shining down on Ku. It was almost painful just to watch, but as long as it wasn’t hitting her she was fine. She smiled at Lue’s statement about needing to get out of the forest. “Why?” Again, she didn’t have anywhere to be, but perhaps they did? She knew they were both lost, but they didn’t seem like they were in a big hurry to get out, not until now. And in the back of her mind she wondered what they were doing here in the first place, and how long they had been here. Surely they weren’t here to hide from the sun like she was.

Lue looked at her but really couldn't think of a reason he needed out of here, he didn't like the feeling of being lost but he wasn't in a real hurry to get anywhere... Lue shrugged at her question, "I don't know really, forget that I said that..." he said still in his laying postition.

"Well I for one have places to go, people to see." he lied, he didn't have anywhere to go nor anyone to talk to. He stood up and leapt onto the ground, shaking dead leaves off that were stuck to his fur. "If either of you want to come, you're welcome to." he said, walking off into the forest, his voice getting harder to hear through the trees.
"Wow, this forest just keeps going on... echo!.."
