Lue had stopped smiling, someone actually felt the way he did... "I know how you feel... No one really accepts you for who you are... No one cares who you are but rather what you are and when you tell them their whole perspective on you changes... You just want to be with the company of people who actually care for you and want to be around you and don't really give a crap what you look or act like..." He said looking at the ground, "I was so happy to hear you ask for my name first instead of asking for my species... I was even more pleased when you never even mentioned my differentialities..." He said glazing up only to catch her back facing him, "Please don't go..."

Ku had glared until she had touched him; he could barely feel it, though it felt cold. His anger started ebbing away in spite of himself.
"... I'm sorry if I offended you. " he said, his ears drooping slightly. "It isn't my right to judge you."
The forest was reflected in his eyes, glassy and unblinking. "I apologize." he said to her tail as she walked away. "I'll understand if you want to leave."

One of Abby’s ears had twisted around while she listened to every word Lue spoke. She completely agreed and was glad that she had finally met someone who felt the same way she did. She was incredibly glad to hear the other kougra apologize, for that wasn’t something she got very often. She turned back around and smiled as she glanced between the two. “Thank you both. You’re both too kind. And I think I can think of a couple of reasons to stick around.” These were the first two friends she had made since the accidence that didn’t care what she was; she wasn’t about to leave them.

Lue smiled, "Good, cause I can think of a couple reason to have you around." He said glad that she had decided to stay. He looked around, every direction looked the same, trees... He sighed out a puff of smoke and turned back to Abby, "Which direction did you say the town was?" He said embarrassed that he had forgotten already.

Abby returned his smile, but in the back of her mind wondered what he meant by that. Was there something he wanted her to do? Or perhaps she was reading too far into that. She turned her head to look behind her and nodded in that direction. "That way. But like I said, it looks like a long walk." She said as she looked back at him.

Lue sighed again, "I know..." He said starting to move in that direction, he wasn't in a hurry or anything but he just didn't like this. Not because of Ku or Abby, he just had this feeling in his gut that made him uneasy about this... Maybe it was the town or something that they might encounter... Lue thought but couldn't figure it out, he wasn't a fortune teller or a profitizer, he just had those gut feelings now and then...

Ku just shrugged. He was used to walking, it was no big deal to him. It's not like he had anything better to do. He was much more suited to life in the trees though, considering his slim, yet muscular build, his prehensile tail and his hooked claws.
Ku glanced sideways at Lue, wondering what he was thinking. He looked troubled or something. Racking his brains wondering what he'd be so worried about, he gave up and kept walking.
He could hear Abby walking not too far away behind him. She seemed nice enough. He struggled to think as to why a vampire would have large, voluminous feathered wings. He put all he knew about vampires (very little) and all he knew about birds (quite a lot) and it didn't make sense. Perhaps it was the Faerie bloodline. It would have to be.
thinking too much again.. he thought and couldn't help smiling.

Abby cocked her head as she observed the other two. The silence almost amused her, and she knew they were both thinking about something. And from the looks of it, two completely different things. Lue looked troubled, though she couldn't imagine why. And Ku looked almost amused, but she couldn't see any reason for his amusement. She noted that all three of them seemed to think about things way too much. It was an interesting little think tank they made up, but it wasn't very efficient. Perhaps it might have been more so, if they would tell each other what they were thinking about. "You two alright? You both look like you've got something on your mind."

Lue was startled, he looked back at Abby, "Ummm, yeah...." He said not wishing to trouble them with his problems... He looked at Ku who had a funny smile spread across his cheeks, "But there may be something wrong with him..." He said nudging Ku with his shoulder. Lue laughed and mocked Ku smiled.

Abby sighed, wishing that he would have told her what he was thinking about. But if he didn't want her to know, she wouldn't push it. She giggled as she looked at Ku. "Yeah, with a smile like that, we might not want to know what you're thinking about" she teased. She was obviously only joking, but it still amused her.

Lue laughed again, this was quite rare for him...maybe he was just tired, "Yeah, on second thought keep those kind of things to yourself." He said smiling. He hadn't known Ku for very long but he seemed like a nice guy if you needed someone to cheer you up. Being happy all the time just wasn't Lue's thing, there were times for laughs and there were times for griefs but to Ku his life was time for laughs...

Ku smiled in spite of himself. "Suit yourself then, I'll just keep these thoughts to myself!" He replied, laughing. These two were good for a laugh. Well, Lue was if he was in the right mood.
Birds twittered in the forest happily. If it wasn't for the fact that the sun was shining hard enough to injure Abby, it would have been the perfect day.

Abby laughed, but in the back of her mind wondered if he actually had been thinking about that. Na, she had been joking so he was probably joking right along with them. She smiled to herself as she looked down toward the ground. She couldn't remember the last time she had had so much fun. Granted they were only walking, but it had been a while since anyone had gotten her to laugh. Come to think about it, the last time she had laughed was during a full moon, but she didn't have any control over that. Which reminded her, when was the next full moon? She would have to get away from these two before it happened, but stupid her hadn't been keeping track. "Either of you know what day of the month this is?" Oh geez, that sounded so freaking random.

Lue had no idea he was really not good with keeping track of months and days... "Well," he said thinking, "Fall just started so maybe around October, or September maybe..." He said shrugging, "Why did'd you ask?" He said not really thinking about full moons or anything of that nature. He really didn't care what day, month, or year it was as long as it wasn't raining he was fine...

Abby smiled, "I already know what month it is. And you're right; it's October. But I need to know the day, but I guess I can figure it out later." She paused with a worried look on her face as she looked down at the ground. He wanted to know why she asked. Could she tell him that she wanted to know because she wanted to know when the full moon was? And then he would ask her why she needed to know that and she would have to tell him she wanted to know because she could possibly kill them during a full moon. They took the vampire thing pretty well, but she doubted they would take that the same way. "I asked because....I...." She could feel herself drowning; should she tell them or shouldn't she? "Because I....have a prior engagement."
