Lue looked back at Abby, she did have a thoughtful look on her face, "Yeah what's up?" Lue said starting to get the feeling that it was something either one of the guys said or did. He did like Abby company, no doute, but from his past experances females weren't the best people to travel with, they always had something to say and were all about expressing feeling toward everyone. Lue he would rather just keep the talking down to a minimum and keep his feelings to himself... Abby was kinda different than most females though, not alot of them could actually relate to his feelings about being different. Ku, he now learned, was different to but more in a family way than a physical way... Lue continued to walk, looking back ahead of him and waited for an answer.

Abby looked between the two males, a little shocked that they had asked her that. She hadn't meant to have any kind of look on her face, and if she had, she hadn't expected either of them to care enough to ask. "Oh, yeah, I was just thinking." 'Think of something you were thinking about, quickly' she thought. She wasn't about to tell them what she was actually thinking about; about Ku being a prince and telling Lue to carry him. But what would replace that thought and still sound convincing? "I was just sort of wondering, Ku....Well....In your story you said you had been born all black, but you're not all black anymore. I guess I was just wondering how that happened." Yeah, that sounded convincing enough.

Lue thought that was a weird question, he was born a dark gray but as he got older his hair got darker. That just how it was, you lose all your baby hair and grow darker or, in Ku case, lighter hair. Well that's how it was with Lupes anyways...

{sorry.. -.-;}
Ku sighted the village and ignored the question. "Hey, it looks like we've finally found it!" he said jovially and began running towards it through the field. He hadn't really thought that the question would come up, but now that he thought about it, how could they have not asked? He would answer, but he didn't know the full story himself, and it wasn't like he could go back to the clan and find out.

Lue looked ahead in the direction Ku was running and indeed saw little houses and shops. He didn't run after Ku though, still slightly tired from the race and he wasn't sure how Abby would do running in the sun.

Abby raised an eyebrow as she watched Ku running towards the village. "Erm, alright then. Sorry I asked" she murmured. As she continued to watch him run, she tried to work herself into a happy place, but it didn't matter what she did; there was no way she was running that far. Instead she just looked ahead at the buildings, noting each ones position and design, and wonder where exactly they were. It really shouldn't matter, right? Civilization is civilization, right? And she should just be happy to get out of the wilderness, but for reasons unbeknownst to her, she had a bad feeling about this place. She was probably just being paranoid, or maybe the sun was getting to her more than she thought it was.

Lue looked back at her, noticing that she didn't feel like running again either, he slowed down even more so she was even with her. He looked back at the little village that they were approaching and back at Abby, who looked as if she were in deep thought, "What are you thinking about?" He asked trying to start a conversation.

Ku was still running, the thought of Abby in the sun hadn't even reached him yet. Though his head was in the clouds, he rarely actually thought ahead, and was more likely to stumble over his mistakes by rushing in than doing it correctly by thinking about it.
He reached the small village fairly quickly, and wondered dimly where Lue and Abby were. Altogether it seemed to be a quiet town, almost deserted. Ku shrugged and waited for the other two to catch up.

Abby burst into laughter without meaning to. "Ha! Ha, ha, ha, ha." She had a huge smile on her face as she turned her head away, still trying not to laugh but not really being able to stop herself. After she finally did manage to contain her laughter, she turned to Lue again. "Sorry, it's just I hate it when people ask me what I'm thinking about. I am usually thinking about a million things all at one time; to name them all would be virtually impossible. I didn't mean to laugh like I did, but it came as a surprise to me. Anyway, the biggest thing on my mind is what village this is. Doesn't it sort of have an eerie feel to it? Or is it just me?"

Lue was taken aback by Abby's sudden outburst, not understanding at first. He looked over at the village after Abby explained herself, still not see why it was so funny, "It looks like a regular village to me..." He said not seeing anything wrong with it. He usually avoided towns like this so he didn't really see a lot of villages but out of all the ones he had seen this on was just like the other ones...

Abby took in a huge amount of air and held it for about five minutes, all the while cursing at herself in her mind. 'I've got to stop thinking, that's all there is to it. I may never think again. Curse you! You're thinking right now!' She released the air, going out the same way it had come in. "Maybe it's just me then."
'That's it, I've completely lost my marbles. I ought to be hit over the head with a sledge hammer. Curse you! You're doing it again!'
"Anyway, we should get a move on. I'm sure Ku is waiting for us."

Lue nodded, "Yeah..." He said not sure what that big sigh was all about but didn't ask about it. It seemed that the more questions he asked about her the more confused he got. He started running, not really fast more of a jog, toward the village where Ku was. They finally reached it and Lue gave Ku a welcoming smile, "Sorry we were still a little tired from the race." He explained.

Abby trudged behind, dragging her feet in a half-way jog, and keeping her head down the entire time. By the time she got there, she felt like she was in a furnace, and panting wouldn't help. "I don't get tired" Abby corrected. Why she felt the need to correct Lue, she didn't even know, but it was just one of those things that she had to correct or it would bug her. Maybe she was just started to get a little grumpy, but you would be too if you felt like you were on fire. "So, we're in a village." She started walking forward. "But we have no idea where we are, or whom we are with. How interesting." She kept walking, not checking back to see if the other two were following and not really caring either. If she got lucky, she could find a shop or something to slip into.

Lue scowled, 'you sure do look tired...' he thought but didn't say anything. He followed her looking at all the shops and houses but the strange thing was that he didn't see any other life but the three of them. The street were cracked and dust, it looked as if no one had set foot in this village for years...
