Zuri, Abby, Strips ~ Private

Zuri too had walked. Did not talk and so forth. Eventually it did get easier to see and he was able to go back to normal. His eyes were the normal blue color. "Hey light is up ahead." Zuri said, which everyone probably already knew. "I wonder whats up there. I guess we'll find out if you were right Abby." Of course, if she was, it'd probably be a very bad thing, but that was the nature of their luck.

Ho hum.

Strips was panting heavily by this point; he didn't understand why Zuri couldn't feel that. He felt like he was being baked alive.

As the kept walking, it got bright enough that Abby was able to turn her arm off and they could see just fine. The tunnel opened up into a huge room; bridges of solid earth dictated their path, and in-between the bridges were pools of lava. It appeared that Abby had been right.

Breathing became uncomfortable for Strips; every time he took a breath, he inhaled hot air. He was really starting to think this was a bad idea, but since they had come this far, he didn't want to turn back now.

Zuri on the other hand was used to fire. He did use fire magic alot and the only way he could use it was to breath it, so this wasn't so bad. The heat was fairly strong, but Zuri liked it. He could bath in a pit of fire and enjoy it. "Wow, its getting kinda hot in here." Zuri said. "Geesh Strips, you look like your about ready to die. Whats up?" Zuri looked at Strips, he was panting and looking as if he was about to keel over. He then looked at Abby, she didn't really seem to be having any problems. Zuri then looked at the amazingness of what they were looking at. He was facsinated by the large room like thing with lava every where. To him this was awesome.

Abby glared at Zuri, "I told you this would happen, but you just couldn't listen to me." She then looked at Strips, who had knelt down on one knee. His ears were pinned against his skull and his tongue was still lulled out as he panted. He couldn't, or didn't, want to answer Zuri's question. "He can't go any further, or he'll be burned alive" Abby continued. She was amazed Zuri was doing as well as he was, since he was a mortal and he should have been feeling the effects of this place by now. Then it dawned on her; he was part demon.

"Well alright. We can always go back. I mean gosh. Its not like we're trapped. So what do you guys want to do then? Go back or what?" Zuri just kinda stood there and looked at the two. Strips was pathetic and Abby just seemed to be mad now. What, he didn't actually know this was gonna happen, not to mention Abby had said never mind. Huh, well to late now. Zuri continued to look around. He seemed to be drawn to this place. He didn't know why. But he wanted to sit here and just look at it. It was like something was calling him to this place. Maybe that was why he decided to come here. Maybe thats why he said forget going back, lets go forwards. It is very odd.

Strips shook his head, "No. We've come this far; it would be pointless to turn back now. And if Abby's right and I am incinerated, well then, I guess that means you two will get to be together and I'll be out of the picture." He half smiled as he staggered to his feet, tried to walk forward but stopped at the persistency of the heat.

Abby shook her head. "You're a stubborn a**" she growled. Holding her hands out in front of her, she concentrated on the area surround Strips, and a purple force field shaped like a bubble formed around him.

The extreme feeling of the heat left almost immediately; Strips poked the bubble in curiosity. "Heh, cooool!" His wish of being inside a bubble had finally come true. What wasn't cool about that? Other than the fact that he couldn't hold Abby's hand anymore.

Zuri started laughing. "Its bubble boy. Hmmmm well whatever works I guess. So shall we move on." Zuri then waited for Abby and Strips to lead the way. He figured Abby knew her way around here since she's been down her multiple times. It'd probably be a wise idea to have her lead. "Uh, ladies first then."

"Oh, well, thank you brave soldier for making the lady go ahead of you" Abby replied, sarcastically. She took the lead anyway; walked down the fiery bridges toward the dark faerie's favorite hang out spot. It seemed like a long walk around the pools of lava, but it really wasn't; it would probably only take them about ten minutes. Of course, that's ten minutes in the lower realm; in the middle realm that was only, like, two seconds.

Strips walked after Abby, not really paying attention; he was enjoying his bubble too much. After a while, though, he started getting a funny feeling; he felt like he was being watched or something.

"Whaaaat?! I don't know my way around here like you. Haaaa whatever." Zuri just followed behind Strips. He walked outon the bridge of land. He was enjoying the landscape. He looked around at the fiery landscape. There were pools of lava everywhere. He was enjoying it. The bursts of lava every where. The extreme heat was nice. The sound of the lava bubbling everywhere and the sound of the lava oozing along everywhere. He started drooling at the landscape. Eventually he snapped out of it. "Hmm, ah yeah." Zuri then saw Strips playing with his bubble. "Awww, look at Strips, the little bubble boy. Hahaha, if that thing were to pop you'd be dead in a heart beat. Hmmmm maybe then me and Abby could be alone. Maybe me and Abby could have a good time down here. It is such a nice place, why miss a chance down here." Zuri said mockingly.

Strips glared at Zuri; a fire began burning inside his chest as his anger rose. What Zuri said hadn't bothered him until he mentioned him and Abby having a good time down here if he was dead. Everything else he could have ignored, but he knew what Zuri meant by that, and he wasn't pleased. "You f***ing b******!" He yelled across the cavern. "Why don't you come over here and say that to my face?! So I can grind you into a fine powder!" What was he really going to do, though? I mean, he's inside of a bubble for pete sakes. Still, he could feel the anger building in his chest. His arms tingled with the need to drill Zuri; watch his blood pour into the lava pools. His fingers wrenched until they formed fists, and chest felt heavy as his breathing increased.

As Strips looked like he was about ready to have a temper tantrum, the walls of cavern began to rumble. And as his anger increase, lava shot straight out of the pools like a geyser.

"Knock it off!" Abby snapped, "This place doesn't need encouragement".

Zuri saw Strips' anger. "Alright." Zuri was looking around and wondering what was going on. He gave Strips a dirty look. "It would though." Zuri laughed alittle. Still antagonizing Strips. He then began walking forwards. "Like you could do anything any ways." Zuri said still mocking Strips. He began laughing. He was interested upon what this place could do. As the place began to get more angry, it seemed that so did Zuri. He could feel power growing inside of him. His eyes slowly began to grow more and more red. "You know what Strips. F*** you. As if your little wussy a** could do anything." Zuri seemed to be getting angry for no reason. He just seemed to have a thing against Strips. "Power, GIVE ME MORE POWER!!!!!" A voice echoed through Zuri's head. It just kept ringing and ringing. "GAAAAHHH GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!" Zuri now just seemed to be flipping out. Now the lava seemed to be feeding off of him. The room was rumbling more and more. The lava was exploding all around him. Soon it seemed more lava was coming into the room. Cracks in the walls were beginning to form and lava was spewing out of them.

Strips roared, and as he did the walls rumbled even more. His fangs were bared back, tail lashed from side to side, and eyes quickly turned a demonic shade of pure red. Between the two of them, lava was sent flying everywhere; the ground shook like mad. It was no wonder the place wasn't tearing itself apart. Strips was fed up with Zuri calling him a wussy, and he wasn't going to stand for it anymore. He charged toward Zuri at full speed, ramming into him with all his weight. The bubbled formed around his movements, so when Strips went to deck Zuri, Zuri wasn't actually hit by Strips, but rather by the bubble itself, which was riddled in dark magic.

Abby looked around at the chaos in the room, a panic-stricken look on her face. She couldn't allow Zuri's and Strips's anger to destroy each other. She got down on all fours again, and ran toward the pair; leapt up in the air to tackle them.

Zuri was hit by the attack, his face went to the side. This time it actually hurt him. His flesh actually seemed to burn off. But under it was what you'd expect. Under it seemed to be another form of skin. It was.....black? It seemed that his skin shedded off and under it was a layer of black skin, well scales. It seemed as if under neath was some form of extra protection. Something that may be the reason to his tough skin. Zuri stood back up, black ooze running down the side of his face. His eyes were a full glowing red now. When Zuri stood tall he saw Abby out of the corner of his eyes. As she came close he grabbed her by the throat. Her body seemed to fly forwards as her head stayed in place. "F*** off." Zuri said as he threw Abby across the "room." All while he kept his stare on Strips. "Bring it little man." As Zuri said this flame was pouring out of his mouth and spewing off to the side. He then opened his mouth and a large blast of purple flame came out. Then he blasted another large ball of normal, red, fire but towards Strips this time.

Abby was sent careening across the room with such a force that she wasn't able to stop herself in midair. She actually even ended up flipping while she was in midair, and when she landed she landed on her stomach, and kept sliding across the ground. She had to dig her claws into the rocks to be able to stop herself. The gravel had torn apart her stomach upon impact, so when she staggered to her feet, a purple liquid poured out her wounds and down her pants. Her arms and legs were shaking severely, not from being injured but more from being confused and terrified.

Strips took a step back when the fire hit his bubble; he had flinched unnecessarily, because the fire wasn't able to penetrate the shield. He had a confused as h*** look on his face as to what had just happened. Why did Zuri have black scales under his red ones? How was he able to stop Abby so abruptly? And how the h*** was he able to breath dark fire, something he only knew Abby to be able to do. "F***ed up demon. It's no wonder nobody loves you; no wonder everybody despises your guts." He grinned evilly, "No wonder you've been alone for so long. You can't even control yourself around the ones you supposedly love." He shook his head, showing his disdain. "You will pay for what you've done."

Zuri got a pissed look on his face. As if he didn't already but yeah. He stared at Strips as if he was going to catch him on fire. In a deep demonic PO'ed voice Zuri said.

I'm going to destroy that bubble of yours and personally dip you in the lava my self. I'm going to watch as you writhe in agony. I'm going to watch as your fur bursts into flame and your skin melts off of your corps. You little bastard, I will personally hand you over to the devil myself."

Zuri then burst ahead towards Strips. His drawn back ready to start to pound away on Strips's little bubble.
