Ooootaaay, Zash and I decided to finish our one-on-one here to make it easier on both of us. Unfortunately, anyone wanting to listen in has missed a lot, but here’s a very brief summery. Basically, Abby and Zuri met after a Yooyuball game. Uh, went something like Zuri was being mugged and Abby took care of the guys doing it. They did more crap in Shenku before going to Neopia Central. Anna didn’t like Zuri, so they went back to Shenku and got to know each other veeeery well. Uh, I think Abby knew about the Underground by this point, and not long after arriving in Shenku a group sent by the underground was sent to kill Zuri. Abby and Zuri wiped them out, and then decided to leave and go somewhere safer. Abby suggested going to the Haunted Woods because she had friends there, so that’s where they went. While there, they ran into Strips, who was being chased by a couple of Kass-loyal Darigans. At the same time, the Underground caught up with them and started chasing them. Strips, Abby, and Zuri were captured by the underground and tortured, each in a different way. They ended up escaping the Underground and in the process blew the place up. Uh, there was a long walk through the woods and during the walk Strips told Abby about his past. As night fell, Abby went vampiric with the coming of a full moon. Strips injected her with lycan vemon and she pasted out, and they all checked into a hotel. They went shopping the next day, then went to a bar where Strips and Zuri started a drinking contest. Abby listened in on a conversation across the room, hearing something about a hidden treasure. After Strips and Zuri got into a fist fight, woke up the next morning with hangovers, Abby told them about the treasure. They started out to Kiko Lake to find it, but before they made it there Zuri went demonic on them and flew off. Abby and Strips were alone when night fell again, and Abby went all vampiric again. But instead of eating Strips, they got to know each other veeeery well, but before Abby went vampiric Strips asked her if she would marry him. Now Abby and Strips are sleep in the woods, and Zuri’s passed out somewhere else. And it was your turn, Zashy-boy. Also feel free to add anything I may have missed in the summery; I couldn’t remember everything very well.

((Alright, this is gonna be long. I put in the entire dream sequence, well most of it. I'll add in the beginning later. This is all while Abby and Strips were doing whatever. I'll let Anna post in whatever. HI *Waves* And now we begin.))
Zuri hit the ground with a thud. He tried to scamper forward by crawling but it was to no use. The demon had caught up to him. Zuri turned around to face the giant cloud. "What, what do you want with me?" The creature now was right up in his face. "I want your mind." The creature said simply. This was no longer a battle in a simple dream. This was a battle for himself. "NO, NO, NO!!!" Zuri screamed. The cloud picked him up by his neck and held him up in the air. Zuri was grasping for air. "Let me go." Zuri squeezed out. Then Zuri was thrown forward. He went flying through the air and landed with a thud. The Monster seemed to grow now. Zuri turned to face the being and hit had grown to the size of a building now. Zuri was now but a small play thing. The monster picked him up and then....
Another being tackled the beast. Zuri watched in amazement. Another cloudy figure had come out of no where. This time it was red with white eyes. Zuri could do nothing but watch in amazement as these two being began to fight. Both in which looking like Zuri. One could say it was his light side fighting his dark side. Of course Zuri was but a mere ant to these creatures. They began fighting eachother in a heated fight to see who one nothing but Zuri himself. The dark cloud landed a killer blow with his tail upon the red cloud. The red cloud fell to the ground with an explosive thud. The ground rumbled and even Zuri bounced into the air. Zuri could hear the trees crashing as the cloud fell. Then the black cloud came over and picked up Zuri. "Nooooo!!! Let me go!!!!" Zuri screamed. Then Zuri watched as a red cloudy hand came up and rammed itself into the black cloud's face. The black cloud dropped Zuri and he fell till the red cloud caught him. The red cloud then set Zuri far off to the side of this battle of the gods.
Zuri now sat there, a decently safe distants away. He couldn't do anything now. He was pretty much set down in a tree. He couldn't run or anything. In fact, he didn't even have wings any more. He was nothing but a human looking shoyru. Neither wings nor claws. He was helpless. He could just lay there and watch this battle of giants. The clouds just seemed to fight on and on. Exchanging blows constantly. One may fall and the land would shake and trees would crash and fall. The battle was destroying this dream land. Though it was still dark the beings seemed to have a light about them. They would both try to go for Zuri from time to time but the other would grab the other and then throw the being across the destroyed land. The battle seemed to go on forever. A punch for a punch, a tail whip for tail whip. These clouds seemed to never give up. Then the dark cloud gave out a great roar and a ball of flame seemed to form in its hands. Then the red cloud seemed to do the same. They both then shot the blasts and it seemed to be a constant flow of flame coming from the two. The blasts met in the center and another blast went off. The flames blew and scorched the trees all around. What was going to happen now?
The land was scorched. The tree that Zuri was in as just s pile of ash. There was nothing left of the land. The trees had been burned down and everything just seemed to be an ash filled dessert. Zuri looked around. Nothing was to be seen anywhere. The two giant clouds seemed to have blown away. Zuri wasn’t entirely sure what had just happened. Zuri then stood up in the ash. He could hear the sound of crackling flames and a light breeze. The ash was gently moved by the breeze from pile to pile. Then suddenly the breeze seemed to pick up. “What the heck is going on?” Zuri asked aloud. The breeze soon became a wind and eventually seemed to become a horrific wind that could blow anything away, but somehow Zuri remained planted in one place. Then there was a great roar and the piles of ash seemed to form something. The giant black beast had come back. “I’m not done yet.” Roared the great beast. All Zuri could do was to stand and watch in horror. The black being had come back for him. Soon the ash formed a face and mouth and a pair of blood red eyes seemed to glow out of the beings eye sockets. Then a hand formed around Zuri. Zuri was helpless at this point in time. He struggled to break free but couldn’t. “Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!” Yelled Zuri as the hand brought him closer and closer to the being’s mouth. Then suddenly the hand threw Zuri into the being’s mouth and he was engulfed.
“NOooooooooooooooooooo!!!!” Yelled Zuri as he awoke in a strange cave. “Where am I?” He looked around and all he could see was a bright light coming out of the opening of some cave in which he was lying in. “What is this place.” He said as he sat up. “OU! Darn it. So much for sitting up.” He then just lay back down. He looked at himself. His left arm was broken and his wings were put in stilts. “Well I guess I ain’t gonna be movin for awhile. Well at least there is sun now. I guess I’m on the outskirts of the Haunted Woods. That’s a good thing. I was getting tired of all the darkness and dreariness of that place.” After talking to himself Zuri just decided to sit back for now.

((*Warning! Contains uncensored cursing!*))
At sunrise the next morning, Strips and Abby woke up. During the course of the night, Abby had managed to roll over on top of Strips, and slept the majority of the night on his stomach. Strips kept his wings wrapped tightly around her small body all night. He woke up smiling, enjoying the comfort of Abby’s soft body pressed against his.
Abby yawned widely as she woke up, looking around in slight confusion. Her vampiric form had vanished during the night and Strips was able to look into her beautiful lavender eyes as she woke. Abby disregarded Strips as she stood up and looked around, a look of confusion still held on her face.
Oh god, please tell me she remembers what happened last night Strips thought. “Abby? Are you alright?”
“Hmm? Oh, yeah, I’m fine.” She could remember what had happened last night; she just couldn’t understand why she had done it. With a shrug, she went around collecting her clothes, which were scattered about everywhere.
Strips sat up and watched Abby, sighing in disappointment. “Uh, Abby, I meant what I asked last night….”
“Did you really?”
“Yeah. I mean….”
“Alright” she interrupted before he could finish. “I’ll think about it” she quickly added.
Strips looked down at the ground, clearly disappointed. “Alright” he replied simply. He then stood and got dressed himself; he didn’t watch Abby, nor did Abby watch him. They simply went about their business.
The silence between them didn’t last long, though, before Strips broke it. “Abby, I hate to ask this, but I gotta know…. Do you….I mean, d-do you…” Shit, how am I supposed to ask that? “I was just wondering if maybe… ARG!” He couldn’t seem to be able to formulate a question in his mind, and finally shouted in frustration. “Alright, I hate to phrase it like this, but ever since you met Zuri you’ve been, well, different. So, I guess I was wondering… how you felt about me? I mean, you never talk to me anymore. If this is about that comment I made earlier about women then I just wanna say I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean it and you know how guys are. I just couldn’t say what I was really thinking in front of another guy. But truth is, I appreciate women a great deal. And that thing I said, it ain’t true…”
“It’s not that” Abby interrupted, “I know you were just being retarded. Admittingly it saddens me that you always feel the need to put on a mask in front of other people, but I should be used to it by now.”
“Then what is it? I mean, I don’t know about you, but I thought last night was pretty darn incredible. And call me old fashioned, but I think there should be more happening then us just ignoring each other…. I guess what I’m tryin’ to say is, I still love you Abby; I never stopped loving you. And what I asked you last night, I meant it; I wasn’t just sayin’ it to make a point. Maybe it woulda meant more ta ya if it hadn’t been a full moon, I dunno. But I was kinda hopin’ for more of a reaction than just ‘I’ll think about it’. I guess what I’m ultimately tryin’ to say is, do ya have any feelings for me at all?”
“I’m sorry, but I don’t think I do.” Abby didn’t seem to need any time to think about it at all; she answered his questions almost immediately.
Strips jaw nearly dropped to the floor; he couldn’t believe it, he just couldn’t believe it. A small spark of anger ignited inside him, and quickly engulfed him completely. Anyone that knew him knew it didn’t take much. “Why. the hell. not?” He asked through gritted teeth. “Is it him? What the hell does he have that I don’t have?”
“It’s not him either. I’m sorry, but I’m not sure I like either of you that way…”
“Then how the hell could you sleep with us both?! What the fuck were you thinking, woman!”
“I’m sorry, I really am. I’m just so confused…”
“Well then, allow me to un-confuse you. Pick me and not him!”
“I’m sorry, but I just really need time to think, and if you really loved me, you’d allow me that time.”
Strips looked down at the ground, shaking his head. “Fine, whatever.” He still couldn’t believe what he had just heard. He felt betrayed, he felt used. He had poured his heart out to Abby and she had rejected him. Which made him wonder why he bothered to keep trying. Every serious relationship he had ever been in had ended in heartbreak, so why the hell did he keep trying? This truth was beginning to make him wonder about himself, and it became apparent to him that he was actually a companion animal by nature. He just couldn’t figure out why he wasn’t any good at it. It was odd, because he never would have pegged himself as a companion animal. But it also made him wonder if maybe he wasn’t and maybe he was just jealous of Zuri. He almost liked that thought better than the first.
“You still in there?” Abby asked curiously, breaking Strips’s train of thought.
“Uh, yeah, I guess so.”
“Okay, good. Shall we continue walking then?”
Oh goody, keep walking in search of her precious Zuri. “Yep, we sure shall” he replied with the straightest face possible.
“Alright, let’s go then.” Abby replied, walking ahead. Strips followed after her.

After awhile Zuri was interrupted by some strange little eyrie. “HI!” Said this strange kid. “I see your awake now.”
“Yaaah!! Good grief kid, haven’t you ever heard of not sneaking up on someone.” Said Zuri in a bit of confusion and having the crap scared out of him. About all he could do was flinch since he was pretty immobile at the moment. “So what’s your name kid? And where the heck are we?”
“Well my name is Korshwik. And as of now we are in my home. As you could probably see it’s a cave.”
“Yeah, no kidding. But where are we? Like are we near Kiko Lake?”
“Haha, no. Right now we are about two days walk from there.”
“Awesome. That’s not too far.” Zuri thought to himself. “So uh, you have any idea exactly where we are?”
“Oh, yeah sure. We are about 60 miles east of Kiko Lake. We are closer to the mountains.”
“Alright then.” Zuri said. “Oh man. But with my wing and arm probably just sprained or fractured I probably couldn’t get far. Well duh. I could just heal myself but I’d still need a day or so to try to rest up and be able to fly again.” Zuri thought to himself. Then a grumbling sound came out of his lower regions. “Oops, uh, say kid, what do you got to eat anyways?”
“Uh, well I got various berries and fruit.” The kid then just kinda walked off to the back of the cave and then came back with a small basket of fruit and such. “Here ya go. Eat up.”
“Thanks kid, er I mean Korshwik.” Zuri then began mowing down the food that was sat in front of him. He ate it rather fast but after a few pieces of fruit and berries and such he began to slow down.

Strips and Abby were silent for a long time, as they continued walking through the woods. Strips kept his head down while carrying a depressed look on his face. He sort of grumbled internally while kicking up dirt. He nearly fell head first over branches, like, five times. But Abby was ahead of him so she hadn’t noticed. Not to mention how many times he’s smacked his head against a low branch because he wasn’t paying attention to where he was going.
Abby broke the silence abruptly when she started humming. Strips’s ears perked and he lifted up his head. He couldn’t tell what she was humming until she started singing it out loud.
Abby sang, “Never made it as a wise man. I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealing. Tired of living like a blind man. I'm sick of sight without a sense of feeling. And…”
“this is how you remind me of what I really am…” Strips whispered along. His voice sounded terrible next to hers, so he tried to keep his voice as low as possible. “Kinda an odd song fer you to be singin’, don’t cha think?” He spoke louder.
Abby shrugged, “Maybe, but for some reason it’s stuck in my head. Good song though, don’t you think? It’s by Nickelback.”
“Eh, well, I never much cared for Nickelback, but it ain’t too bad” Strips replied.
“Well then, what do you care for? I don’t believe you ever told me.”
Strips shrugged, “I dunno. I’m not too crazy about very many bands, really. Rob Zombie ain’t bad, and occasionally I’ll listen to Linkin’ Park, but I don’t really have a favorite.”
She looked back, sticking out her tongue. “I hate Rob Zombie, but Linkin’ Park’s pretty awesome.”
“Well, everyone has their own opinion.” It occurred to him that it was odd that every one of his roommates had a different favorite band. Jormungand liked Korn, he knew that much, but he wasn’t sure about all the others. “Soooo, your favorite is?....”
“That’s a hard one, but I think I like The Fray the best.”
“Oh yeah, that’s right; you’re always listenin’ to that one song…” He snapped his fingers, as if that would bring the name of the song to his mind. “What’s it called?”
“How To Save A Life; it’s a good song.”
Strips half nodded, “Yeeep”.
Clearly talking about music was just small talk, but Strips preferred it to them not talking at all.

“Uh, yeah, so kid, does anyone else live here with you? I mean seriously. Do you just live here all by your self, alone?
Korshwik then just sat back with Zuri seeming to act as if he had along story to tell. “Actually, yes I do. I’ve lived here for a great deal of time. I used to live in a small village with my parents and 2 sisters but now.” He then just looked up as if he was searching for an answer to be written on the ceiling. “My village was attacked along time ago by some dark faeries. Not many of us were able to escape. As far as I know I’m the only one. But really it ain’t that bad. I’ve lived out here for about 3 years now. I’ve learned to deal with what I have, and if I ever have any problems I can just find a nice place to hide or even just go over to Kiko Lake.”
Zuri then just gave him a puzzled look. “Alright, but I have to ask. Why are you really telling me all of this, a complete stranger? In fact, why did you even pick me up and take me here?” Zuri asked in complete wonderment.
“I don’t know. You seemed nice and it does get kinda lonely out here.”
“Alright, but I was out cold man. I’d have to say you’re lucky I’m nice and I have broken limbs. Which, yeah, thanks kid.”
“Well yeah, and your welcome. But you only had some minor fractures; you’ll be fine and able to move probably in a few days or weeks.”
“That’s what you think.” Zuri then measured his own strength to see if he had enough energy to try to heal himself some. Zuri then concentrated on his left arm and put his right over it. He chanted a few words and a green light omitted around his arm. After sitting there for a few seconds he stopped and then tested his arm. “Ahhh, that’s better. It isn’t completely healed but it’ll do. At least it won’t hurt and I’ll be able to use it.”
“Wow! You know healing magic?”
“Ah, just a bit. It’s not all that great. It works pretty well but I can’t fully heal something or someone in one sitting like most people. It’ll take me a few tries to heal my arm and everything else. But for now I’m still stuck lying down.”
“Ah, that’s still pretty cool. I know some magic myself.” Korshwik then turned to the opening of the cave and seemed to concentrate pretty hard on it. Then a blast of air shot out of his hand. “See, what I tell ya.”
“Nice kid. So you know some wind magic. That’s pretty useful.”
“Yup, sure is. It helps me fend off some of the more dangerous animals out here.”
“I’d imagine. I bet you probably get pretty scraped up out here don’t ya?”
“Sometimes. The wild crazed lupes out here like to gang up on me out here.”
“Well, you know what kid? I’ll teach you what I know about my healing magic.”
“Really? Cool, thanks mister.”
“Uh, yeah. And it’s Zuri by the way. But come here kid and I’ll teach ya what I know and make it so you can heal some of those wounds.” Zuri then started to teach Korshwik all he knew about his healing magic.

An awkward silence fell over the pair of kougra again. Music clearly wasn’t able to keep their attention for very long. All this walking; wasn’t much to talk about. Boring walking. So, so, boring. Still three days away from Kiko Lake if they continued walking. Why weren’t they flying again? Oh, right, because Abby can’t fly during the day…
“Hey, I got an idea” Strips spoke up after a good amount of time had passed; probably about three hours or so. “How about we, mainly me, go to bed a little early today. That way we can wake up during the night, and fly the rest of the way there. It’ll be a lot quicker than walking.”
“Um, yeah, that sounds like a good idea, actually.” Wow, Strips actually having a good idea, what were the odds? Abby thought. “How early are we talking about?”
“Oh, I dunno, maybe another hour.”
So that’s what they did; they walked for another hour before bunkering down. Strips fell asleep while Abby carved doodles into tree bark using her claws.

So from there Zuri helped teach young Korshwik the ways of healing magic. Korshwik caught on fast and was able to figure out the basics fairly quickly. But the main point in this was Zuri’s little scheme. Zuri used himself as the test dummy. This helped Zuri heal quicker and gave Korshwik a test dummy to try to heal. Most of the time Zuri and Korshwik would just sit there and talk. Pretty much about nothing. For Korshwik it was anything he thought cool happened. Like when he was chased by a pack of warelupes and he caused an avalanche to escape. For Zuri it was pretty much about his trips around Neopia. Nothing really all that exciting or interesting really. But time went on. About another day had passed and it was night time. They sat back and got ready for bed.
“Alright, before we go to bed I just have to close up the cave.”
“You have to close up the cave?”
“Yup, I usually kinda hoist a big rock over to close up the opening so nothing can get in. There is a lot of dangerous stuff out there and its best to play it safe.”
“Alright then Korshwik. You need any help with that?”
“Nah, I’m good. It’s a pretty small opening and doesn’t really take a big rock to close it.”
Korshwik then hoisted a rock over to the entrance and came back to where Zuri was laying. The rock didn’t quite enclose the entire opening. It left a small gap that allowed air to circulate. But Korshwik came over to his small little bed and then curled up and went to sleep. Zuri on the other hand continued to stay where he had stayed all day. It wasn’t much fun but there wasn’t much choice for him. He just continued to stair into the fire and wonder. “Oh man. What am I gonna do now? I’m pretty much stuck with this kid for awhile I guess. But at this rate I probably still have about half a day after this. That’s if we get up at a certain time and we begin healing. I hate to leave this kid but I’m in a hurry. Abby and Strips are probably still on their way to Kiko and I’m stuck here until I’m healed. There ain’t no way Abby and Strips would find me out here. They’d have to do a huge detour to find me and there’s no way of that. I’d have to find them at Kiko, which wouldn’t be hard, its just getting there before Strips decided to leave me behind. Ohhhh maaaaan.” About that point in time Zuri just nodded off to sleep. This is about the only time he was able to sleep in a quiet relaxing spot that he didn’t have to be to worried in the woods. So he laid there and released some stress, just for a bit.

Maybe Strips’s idea wasn’t such a good idea after all, though. Him sleeping while the vampress of death was awake and eager. Full moons usually lasted three days in a row, and today would be the third and final day. Strips hadn’t thought about that, however, when he had fallen asleep.
Strips woke up during the night. Sitting up, he yawned and rubbed his eyes. At first, he didn’t notice what was right in front of him.
Abby was crouched down in front of Strips, waiting for him to awaken. She was patient; she had been waiting for a little over an hour now. Her pose almost resembled that of a griffin perched atop a tall building; crouched down whit her knees bent, legs spread apart, and both arms in-between her legs, clutching the ground.
Strips jerked when he finally noticed her. Abby regarded Strips with a wide grin, flashing her fangs.
“Holy s***!” Strips yelled as he leaped up and ran in the opposite direction of Abby. He ducked tree branches as he ran as quickly as he could.
Abby shook her head, knowing he wouldn’t be able to get away from her and wondering why he would even bother trying. She took off after him; movements resembled that of a cat, with both arms and legs on the ground. Her claws tore through the dirt as she charged ahead. She was gaining some ground on him, but not enough. Plan B; the vampire leapt onto one of the trees, attaching herself with her claws. She kept bouncing from tree branch to tree branch, until she was able to reach branches that were ahead of Strips.
Strips stopped dead in his tracks when Abby jumped down in front of him. His feet shifted to run in the other direction, but he froze when he caught Abby’s gaze burning into him.
“Going somewhere?” Abby’s voice had changed to a demonic on, which echoed through the woods.
“Maybe…” Strips replied.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t let you go. You’re quite the allusive pray; on the first day you paralyzed me, the second day I decided I wanted to play with you more than I wanted to eat you, but today I’ll settle for nothing less than your blood.”
“Sorry, but I’m not home right now; please leave a message after the beep!” At the word ‘beep’, he took off running in the other direction, but stopped again and turned when he heard Abby right behind him.
Abby pounced onto Strips, knocked him on his back, and opened her mouth wide. But before she could get her jaws around Strips’s throat, Strips kicked her off him. She slammed into a tree; landed on the ground with a hard thud. For a couple of minutes her vision was blurry; not until it cleared did she notice Strips scurrying up another tree. By the time she could claw her way up after him, he had reached the top and taken to the sky.

Zuri had already passed out by this point in time. The cave was peaceful and nothing particular was going on. The sound of fire crackling filled the cave and the light was beginning to dim. The fire was slowly going out and things were slowing down.
Korshwik had already fallen asleep so there wasn’t' any movement at all, other than Korshwik moving around a bit as he slept. He was sprawled out on the floor. His right arm out and his left arm in. His wings were spread and his feet were in odd positions as well. His right foot was bent out and his left leg was bent inwards.
Slowly the fire went out and all that was left was some smoldering chunks of wood and ashes.

Abby jumped into the air after Strips, still eager to feel his warm blood pouring down her throat. She noticed, however, that catching up to him in the air seemed to be more difficult; he seemed to be faster in the air. He was zigzagging too, which made him even harder to catch. She wasn’t very good at hunting in the air; her wings were too heavy to get enough speed. But it was okay, because she still had other ways of getting ahead; she teleported to him again, this time reappearing right under him, and grabbed his shirt.
“Stupid f***, get off me!” Strips snarled as he tried to push Abby away, but Abby had latched herself onto him too tightly. She forced them both into a downward spiral; back down toward the trees, all the while trying to get her jaws close enough to latch onto Strips’s throat. Strips slammed the spike on top of his head into Abby’s head, which caused her to be thrown back for a moment and loose her grip on him.
