Cera nodded, "Yeah, lets go..." She said, wanting to leave as soon as possible.
Sucuel nodded, "Ok then," He waved a hand and several other natives joined their group with baskets filled with more food and jars filled with water. Several of them also had weapons which made Cera grow uneasy.
"How far away is it?" She asked, wondering if all this stuff was needed.
Sucuel sighed, "Long if you keep asking questions..." He said and started leading the group out into the forest that surrounded the village.

Ves walked next to Cera - Sucule was leading, and the other natives with the supplies walked behind them. They were walking through a small path in the jungle for a while, until Ves caught the salty scent of the ocean on his nose. They turned a corner and a large white beach stretched out before them, as well as a short jetty and several small boats. There were a few islanders fishing. In the distance, Ves could make out a large strip of green - the mainland. He smiled.

Oh my gosh, we're here.... Cera thought, her eyes widening as she saw the beach, the water, and the mainland in the horizon. She felt like crying right now because she was so happy, she had been stuck on this island for only three days ((I think...)) but it had seemed like eternity. "So when will a boat be here or are we riding a canoe or what?" She asked, trying to hide the excitement her voice so she wouldn't look too stupid...
Sucule looked over at her and smiled, "Well I'm not going to row you two over there and I'm sure no one else wants to either so I guess if you don't know how to row a boat then your out of luck..." He said his face becoming serious.
Cera looked at him with a blank, 'I can't believe your doing this to me' look. She definitely didn't have the energy or the skills to row that boat all the way back to the mainland. "Are you sure there is no other way? Cause if we row over there ourselves then you'll never get your boat back..." She said looking at the line of canoes laid out across the sand.

"I can row," said Ves heriocally. There was a long pause.
"..okay. Sort of. Hehe..." The bottom dropped out of his stomach. They weren't getting back after all. He walked up to one of the canoes doubtfully. It was made of wood and palm leaves, probably long enough for about three people. "How are we going to get back-" "-I can row," said Dhia, giving a crooked smile and stepping forward from the jungle.
(( I figured it was a good opportunity to put him here, if you don't think so then I'll change it. (: ))

((No, this is what I wanted to happen ^^))
Cera watched Ves circle the boats, she sighed and looked down when he started asking his question, not know how in the world they would be able to row all the way back to the mainland. Then she heard Dhia... Cera looked up and spotted the ixi, trying to hold back the smile and sudden hope she had. Could they really trust him to row them all the way back to the mainland? He could just leave them halfway there if he wanted to... She didn't know what to say. She was happy to see Dhia again but then again she was afraid of him....

"So, we gonna do this thing or what?" He walked over to the boats and grabbed the oars, giving Ves a pleasant smile which Ves returned with a glare. "If you two get in, I can push it into shallow water then I'll hop in and row." There was an awkward pause. Ves just glared at Dhia, and Sucule stood their looking offended. The natives were getting bored, they were making circles in the sand with their toes and whispering to each other. "Well?" said Dhia impatiently. "We can either go or not; I'd rather go, personally, but whatever." Daqves frowned and got in the canoe snappily. Dhia cast Cera a glance. "Nice dress." he said bluntly.

Cera scowled and walked over to the boat, stepping in and sitting down. How did he know they was here...? She thought but didn't look back at Dhia. She wished that she was sitting in the front with Ves between them but didn't ask.

"Well goodbye then," he said to Sucule, and started to push the canoe out; it scraped against the sand before it slid into the water gracefully. Dhia waded out with it, before getting in rather clumsily and setting up the oars. He ended up facing Cera unintentionally, now he figured it would be too awkward to move now. He could tell she was uncomfortable with this, but he hadn't expected any better. Dhia started rowing in a rythmic motion, and they slowly started to leave the land through the clear ocean.

Cera looked right at Dhia with a frown and then looked down. This was going to be a long trip. Not just because they were paddeling over a mile in a canoe... "If you need any help I can try to paddel..." She muttered, her amber eyes fixed on the waves that splashed under them. They moved on in silence, a million thoughts buzzed through Cera's head though. When they were about half way she looked up again.

Dhia shrugged. "Nah, it's fine. Ves can row if I need a break." "Gee thanks, Dhiablos." said Ves sarcastically from somewhere behind him. "No problem!" Dhia replied, smiling. It was a clear day, there weren't any clouds in sight. The sky was mirrored on the ocean like glass, save for the waves that came from Dhia rowing the boat.

Cera looked at Dhia and then turned her gaze back to watching the waves tumble under the boat. She felt weird just doing nothing though, she really would be rowing if there was another row... SHe wondered what it would be like back on the mainland... Would the people know that there were missing people from a plain crash? Would anyone even know about the plane crash? Cera looked over she shoulder at the ever growing mass of land, they were about to find out...

Dhia glaced at Cera between rowing. She seemed uncomfortable. Duh, he thought, you told her you were going to murder her. Of course she's uncomfortable. He sniffed. His arms were beginning to get sore from all the rowing, so it was a relief when- "We're nearly there." said Ves abruptly, breaking the silence.

"We're nearly there."
Cera smiled when she heard that and then looked forward, she smile fading. She wanted to ask how he was doing but didn't. She looked down, yet again, and kept her mouth shut. She hated this... She wanted to talk to Dhia; she wanted to find out 'why' but she didn't want to start a conversation between them... A few more minutes passed and Cera could hear the sounds of people and civilization on the shore. She looked up and over her shoulder again at the mainland could see buildings and people now.

They were getting closer to the port of Neopia Central, Dhiablos could hear the town and see the buildings. Ves fidgeted. Cera looked anxious to get home; Dhia wanted to say something but felt he shouldn't. He didn't think Cera really wanted to talk to him, so he stayed quiet. Eventually, the canoe hit the beach.

People that were playing and sunning at the beach looked up and gave them weird looks. Cera felt her cheeks redden when she remembered she was in a ridiculous outfit... She practically jumped out of the canoe though. "Oh, my gosh... We're finally here...." She said, looking around. A worried mom can over to them, "Are you guys ok? Do you need anything?" She asked giving them a concerned look. Cera looked over at the aisha and nodded, "Yeah do you have a map?" She asked figuring they could find what they needed better if they had a map. The aisha nodded and jogged across the hot sand to her belongings, grabbing a map and a towel for them. "Here you go..." She said and smiled awkwardly. Cera gladly took them and thanked the girl. She turned to Dhia and Ves, mostly talking to Ves though, "We probably need to find a police station and tell them about the plain crash. They'll probably take care of us too." She said with a weak smile.
