Finally, I have gotten tired of Arathyne's secrets being a secret! xDDDD Hopefully this "file" will give you a better understanding of my poor little girl. *pets* Then the roleplays she's in might go a little smoother.

POWERS Basic Element: air/wind
A list of all of Ara's powers, regardless of whether or not she can use them.

Invisibility
FORM ONE: Intangible Invisibility [/b] The "intangible" form of invisibility is basically Arathyne turning into air. Her molecules move quicker and spread apart enough to turn her from a solid into a gas. This kind makes her clothes and anything/anyone on or touching her, within reasonable size, form one invisibility as well until she lets go. She has total control over these molecules and they always stay in her little stream and never float away. She can't go through, say, a wall, but if someone came rushing at her, that person would scatter the molecules a little, but they [the molecules] would come back to their 'formation' quickly. She can't be detected by heat sensors or any sort of magick in this form because it'd be the same as sensing air. FORM TWO: Solid InvisibilityThis form is more commonly thought of when thinking of invisibility. Arathyne's molecules in this state are vibrating fast enough to make her unseen, but not so much that she is a gas or her clothes become invisible. She can pick up things in this form and can't move any faster than she could were she seen. Others can feel her but they do not become invisible as well when they touch her, even if she wants them to. Unlike form one, her voice is clear and can be loud, whereas in form one it is a ghostly whisper. High SensesArathyne can sharpen or weaken her sight, hearing, smell, and taste at will. A lot of times she can hear voices carried on the wind that others cannot, and she can increase her sense of smell to be even difficult for a wolf or a trained search dog to match. She can also make the air bring sights from far-off distances to her mind's eye. Wind FormationNot only can she become air, but Arathyne can shape the littlest breezes or strongest windstorms into what she wishes. Most commonly used by Rebekka, she shapes the wind into powerful and hightly dexterous arms that vibrate at such a high frequency they can cut through objects, as well as push or pull them. Beka often makes these "arms" grab hold of things and pull at them. While forming them with her mind, sometimes, intentionally or un, she picks up excess blood from a nearby kill and marks her next victim with a bloody handprint on an arm, leg, or back. Time TravelAgain, most commonly used by Bekka, Arathyne can travel through time at will (and sometimes not at will). She cannot change the past, though her visiting may have caused the present to turn out as it did. For example, if there was a toy called the Gogobot, and she hated it (which she would, naturally), so she went back in time to where its creators were discussing what new invention they would come up with, and she told them, "Don't make the Gogobot, it's retarded!" then they'd get the idea of it and it'd be all her fault it was invented. History is written in stone. Not even she can change it, no matter how hard she tries. This power is shown in the Forsaken City rp, where ten-year-old Bekka traveled into the present day and met up with Strips, Shallo, Drift and Azura. Dimension SplitterLaelia is the only personality that possesses this power, and it is her only one. The Dimension Splitter literally tears a hole in the air, and if you look inside the hole it usually shows a destination. Lael can travel to different dimensions as well as put in and take out anything from them. The Dimension Splitter makes itself known by causing a sort of "earthquake", but in the air, making it difficult to breathe or walk. It can cause things to fall over or explode or burst into flames if open for long periods of time. (to be updated later)[/center]

THE PERSONALITIES Arathyne suffers from DID, or Disassociated Identity Disorder. This is where she has multiple personalities that are activated differently. Some of these personalities know other personalities, and they all know Arathyne, who doesn't know any of them and cannot remember anything that happened while she was in another persona. This is a quick list of Ara's known personalities. (Known to us, not to her.) A hit on the head will trigger all and any of the personalities randomly, but they are all triggered by other things specifically as well. ARATHYNEAGE: 19 BEST FRIEND: Cera LOVE: nobody POWERS: none PERSONALITY: default REMEMBERS: nobody This is the true Arathyne. Before she was taken in by her owner, Lucy, when she was six, she experienced so much trauma and pain that her personality split in two. As she got older, even though her owner, whom she'd started addressing as "Mom", was more than kind to her, she still lived in a sort of fear she could not remember, and her personality continued to split more and more. But poor little Arathyne didn't know what was happening. She would just black out randomly. Her personalities stopped splitting when she was ten and her rage at the world tore Rebekka into existence. Because of the first dark years of her life, and because of the constant fear of blacking out again, Arathyne does not give out trust very easily. And because of this, her childhood was full of fear and lacking love. Her only source of love was from Lucy and her sisters, but even her sisters began to distance themselves from her and eventually she would only talk to Lucy. She never had friends growing up, either. Due to the fact that she acted different from all the other kids and never laughed or smiled or showed any real emotion in front of them, none of them wanted to play with or have anything to do with her. When Janelle, a purple Usul she'd met at school after moving to Neopia Central when she was eight years old, betrayed her by pretending to be friends with her and then spilling all her secrets to the entire school, Arathyne closed herself off to everybody else for what seemed to be permanently. This is why she had no friends until she met a one pink faerie Bori named Cerarose. Although she comes off tough and fearless, in reality Arathyne is afraid of almost everything. She doesn't know what or who will hurt her or if she will wake up where she fell asleep the night before. She doesn't know about her personality problem, but she does know that something is very wrong. She has a wit as sharp as her tongue. She is very fond of tetraberries and strawberries, but pretty much any fresh fruit will do. She does not eat any junk food except for the "Three C's": chocolate, cake, and cheeseburgers. She is very intelligent and finds solace in novels and writing in her diary. Ara has a strange but fierce hatred of pirates. This makes it very difficult to get along with her pirate sister, Vinetaa. She also hates liars with a burning passion. She is "beautiful, but scary" in the eyes of her peers, especially boys. (will update later)

Rebekka is the evil personality born from Arathyne's hate at the world. Her name takes after that of Arathyne's childhood tormentor, Rebecca. Bekka is malicious and cruel, and knows only rage and hatred. She takes out her fury by killing everyone. Arathyne's siblings are particularly wary of Ara because they don't know when Bekka may wake up. Bekka instills fear into the hearts of all who know her and causes a lot of trouble for Ara.
Bekka's favorite magick power is forming invisible arms with the wind around her and using it to cut through objects -- namely, people. She can use these hands to pick up things, touch them, pull them, tear them, slice through them, throw them, anything one could do with normal hands and more. The slightest disturbance in the air can stir up enough of a "breeze" to form at least one of these hands. Because of this weapon of hers, she can easily kill and never be caught. If someone were to be ripped to shreds in a crowd, nobody could identify her out of everyone else. There is little limit to the weight these hands can carry. They are generally intangible, but at the same time not really. Only she can see them, and if she pleases, she can run one gently through a person and pick up some of their blood from their veins, then place it on their shoulder or leg in the form of a bloody handprint. She can pick up blood cells with these hands and sometimes if there is enough, the whole arm will be coated and therefore, one may see these hands and where they are.

While Arathyne was a child in Kevin and Becca's care, she suffered daily abuse. One day, when her foster mother burned a star-shaped iron on Ara's arm, she shot a bundle of nerves that snapped something in Ara's brain. That night as Ara slept, her personality was torn into two, and Mia took all of Ara's previous scars with her. For the rest of the time she spent with Becca and Kevin, Mia would arrive every time unendurable torture would arise again. Ara showed none of her previous scars, but when she was Mia, they were all visible.
Mia likes pain. It is all she has ever known and she gladly takes over for Ara. Not that when Becca would torture her, Mia would smile and enjoy it -- she just didn't scream as much, and knew how to take it. This both stunned and infuriated Becca.
Mia vanished periodically while Ara lived with Lucy, for no pain bad enough for Ara to be unable to bear herself would draw Mia out. But in due time, Mia showed herself and began to slit Ara's wrists so she could feel pain. Mia is empty inside without pain, and seeing the familiar flow of her and Ara's blood filling a bathtub or shower satisfied her needs. When Ara would wake up in a bloody bathtub or anywhere really with either still-bleeding wrists or little scabs on them, she would be terrified. She began wearing fingerless gloves immediately and never took them off. Mia frightens Ara most out of all her personalities because even though she knows nothing about any of them, it is mind-numbing to wake up and have your wrists cut open. She doesn't know Mia, but she knows what Mia does to her. She doesn't know what her other personalities do.
