I figured I'd elaborate on Umber's powers a bit, since the word Pyrokinetic is a bit vague and allows for a lot of variation.

I do hope I'm doing this right, but if I'm not, DON'T EAT ME LUCY! *cringes in fear* xDDD;;;;

PYROKINESIS
Taken from Wikipedia:
Pyrokinesis from the Greek word for fire, and -kinesis, (by analogy to the term psychokinesis) from "movement, motion, a suffix that denotes movement".

Pyrokinesis is an ability (commonly considered fictional) to control, ignite, and/or extinguish fire using only the mind. Pyrokinesis is often confused with pyrogenesis. Pyrogenesis is the proper name for creating fire.

((Though I do realize pyrokinesis and pyrogenesis are different things, I'm just going to group them together for Umber for the sake of simplicity))

UMBER'S POWERS

- Create/ignite fire - source of fuel unneeded
- Extinguish
- Control/Manipulation (existing, or previously created)
- Immunity - body is immune to effects of fire, extreme heat, and smoke. Clothes sometimes made of fireproof materials, but most ofen, specific concentration must be made to avoid the destruction of clothing

TECHNIQUE

- Fireballs/bolts - can throw or project
- Combustion
- Flame Aura - surrounds part or all of body in fire. Can also surround objects. Often uses to dry fur/clothing if wet.
- Platforms/rings of fire - Uses as means of transportation, entrapment, or protection
- "Twister" - usually only used in extreme cases/loss of control

LIMITATIONS/WEAKNESSES

Water - weakens her, but typical sources rarely harms her or inhibits powers completely (for example, being rained on or dunked in water will have little to no effect)
Losing Control -Powers controlled by anger. In the case of losing control, her powers spike (often forming a "twister") as she uses all of her energy on the most powerful assault. Weakened in the severest state after such an attack.
Extinguish - Cannot easily extinguish anything at all - the most fire she could extinguish without ridiculous effort would be a large campfire.
Overuseage of Powers - results in splitting headaches, and in extreme cases, loss of conciousness for anywhere from hours to days.

- Unable to form creatures/forms out of fire.
- Does not breathe fire.

MOVEMENT

Control through the Limbs - Umber can control/create fire via her arms and legs, though the latter is rarely used, atleast in anthro form. This method is fairly common - she can use it to throw fire, create fire, direct large amounts of it (think of a band conductor), and even surround herself in flame, along with other techniques. This form can also be used with the digits, most commonly the fingers, and often for show (i.e - a "lighter")

Control via the Mind - Another technique used requires no movement at all - with concentration, Umber can perform practically all of her techniques without lifting a finger. Often used for effect.

reminds me of Thai... my lupe who has had a relatively undeveloped character for about a year... she's pyrokinetic as well, but that's the result of her being power-driven and manipulative, sacrficing a lot of things (including her sanity) to extend her abilities in fire..

Thai's quad though, and I've hardly used her at all. might add her to my character list, I dunno.

Ooh, that's very interesting. Great minds do think alike xD ;D No, Umber didn't quite "sacrifice" anything to become pyrokinetic, though she is very manipulative, and I suppose she's still sane, though she does have a rather warped view of the world.

You should add her! It would be very interesting rping with her!
