Amma smiled somewhat half-heartedly and finished her taco. How painful that must've been for Rasi. And then for Lue to lose his best friend too, seemed a little harsh. No funeral? Could it have been possible that Vi hadn't actually died? Sometimes people survived getting shot. Where did she get shot, though? And why wouldn't anybody call to tell them if she survived or not?? She scowled. That seemed so wrong.
"Well, since your room seems to be off-limits right now," she half hissed, "what can we do down here?"

Lue frowned slightly as he though, not really too sure of what they could do. Sarah was probably in her room on the computer, Cera was most likely out and about with some of her friends.... He looked around for the other two with a puzzled look and then smiled when he realized where they were. "I'm sure Azura and Ze are over at the park. They've been going there a lot lately. Wanna join them?" Lue suggested, thinking it was a great idea.

She hadn't met Azura or Ze yet. And since there seemed to be some tension building inside the house, she smiled and nodded. "Definitely. I think we both could use some fresh air... and I'd love to meet more of your people." She stood up and put her paper plate in the trash and left the rest of the stuff for anybody who wanted something, and started heading for the front door.

Lue just left his plate on the counter figuring he'd just get it later. He opened the door for Amma and closed it behind her once she walked through it. "Ok..." He said looking down one side of the street and then turning around to look down the other side. "I think it's this way... I haven't been there in a while." He said as he started off down the sidewalk. Clearly he had no clue where he was going.

Amma rolled her eyes and smiled. Lue's sense of direction didn't seem to function... ever. She laughed a little at that thought. He could pretend but not very well. She knew he didn't know where he was going. So she thought back to the park before the remodeling and figured they'd start there. "Lue?? Umm, it's this way," she said, pointing in the opposite direction. She didn't know if the park was still there or if they'd put some mall up over it, but it was better than wandering aimlessly around the city.

Lue looked back at her, frowning, "No... I really think its this way." he said determined that the park was his chosen direction. It wouldn't really bother him if he went the wrong direction, he could walk miles without getting tired. And if they got lost it would be so bad either. He would be with Amma so it would be juuuuust fine.

She rolled her eyes and said, "Okay, whaaaaaaatever you say." She smiled and followed him in the direction that he was going. It was a really nice day still, but she could still sense the nagging hint of tomorrow's rain. She ignored it and nudged his arm with hers gently, smiling shyly with a little bit of red in her cheeks.

Lue looked down at his arm when she nudged him, wondering if she was trying to give him some kind of hint. He would have loved to take her hand which hung so close to his at the moment but wasn't too sure if he should. The last thing he wanted to do was to screw things up before they even started. He looked over at her with a puzzled yet excited expression. He noted the blush that stained her cheeks and smiled. He started swinging his hands back and fourth slightly, making it look like it was an unconscious movement, and debated whether or not he should 'accidentally' hit Amma in the act.

Amma looked down at his moving arms, and unconsciously timed its movement. She then looked away, head tilted upward, a blush burning on her face as she counted in her head and then moved her hand out so his would fall backwards into it. She grabbed it and laced her fingers through his and kept up the swinging motion a little bit.

Lue felt her fingers interlock with his and almost tripped over his own feet. He regained composure by concentrating on his steps, breaths, and the small warm hand that his was now wrapped around. He tried to keep the huge grin from showing up on his face but he did let the corners of his mouth turn upward. He glanced over at Amma but couldn't really see her face. He had a feeling she was bright red though and smiled a little more.

They walked on for a while without saying anything. Eventually, the sun began dipping in the sky, telling her it was almost six. She said, "So, um... I think we're lost." She half-smiled at the thought of being lost with Lue.

Lue hadn't really noticed anything until she spoke up. "Oh..." he managed to say, looking around. "I think I know where we are though..." He said with doubt in his tone. "We can turn back... I'm sure they're not at the park anymore." He said and shrugged with a smile. They were currently in a small neighborhood, the houses weren't as close as larger neighborhoods, and the street seemed unused.

"Haha, you sure you know where we are?" she teased. "Maybe we shouldn't have taken that turn awhile back." She chuckled and looked around. She squeezed Lue's hand lightly and said, "Well, I don't know where we are. So I guess it's up to you."

Lue smiled and squeezed back, "I guess so." He said and started casually walking forward. The sun was starting to go down and Lue was a little worried if they'd get back before dark. As the sun slipped into the horizon brilliant colors filled the sky. "At lease we can watch the sun set." He said, his smile unchanging.

"Did you know that the reason why the sunset looks so much better than it did before the Devastation is because all the electrical currents and mass pollution altered the air and the way the colors are cast across the sky?" Obviously, Lue did not know that. He didn't know where the park was. But Amma couldn't help but say it. A few years ago, the sun was a little yellower and a little bit brighter.
