Sarah's secretary: Didn't we already go over this? Sarah's receptionist: She's saying 'yes', not 'hi'. Me: Hai! Sarah's secretary: Sure sounds like 'hi' to me... If she wants in, she can just say yes. Sarah's receptionist: According to my files, she doesn't know how to say yes in English. Me: Hai! Sarah's secretary: Look, kid, I don't speak geek. I'll ask you one more time: you want in or not? Me: Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai! Sarah's secretary: *sighs* Ugh...! Sarah's receptionist: Just take it as a yes and move on with your life. Sarah's secretary: *grumbles* Right this way, miss... grr.. Me: Domo arigatou gozaimasu! Sarah's receptionist: "Thank you very much." Sarah's secretary: *to receptionist* Quiet, you! *to me* In you go! Me: *tumbles inside* *looks at everybody* Man, Sarah, you got to get a new secretary... seriously.

((Gasp! What an incredibly good idea. I was thinking lake or ocean or something, but swamp sounds so much better. *evil laughter* *types intro*))
It was about midday and the sun shone directly overhead, causing the waters to heat up ever so slightly. This made the frogs and other amphibians much more comfortable, and their joyest songs could be heard all throughout the swamp. Well, joyest to some, an annoyance to most.
The water was murky and riddled in slime, which was how most of the creatures preferred it. Trees stuck out of the water just about everywhere you look, most dead but some still living. These trees seemed short if one viewed them from afar, but if you dove down you would be able to tell just how tall they really were. Approximately half of each tree trunk was submersed by water, leaving the other half to stretch up towards the sky, leaves soaking in the warmth of the day.
This was just in the deepest part of the swamp, however. There were other parts where one could stand up on all fours and have the water only reach their knees. But one particular creature that was lurking about preferred the deeper part of the swamp, where the noise wasn't so loud and the water had more of a foul odor to it.
The creature in question was an odd one, to say the least. With two heads coming out of a single large mass of fat, and attached to this fat were two arms. Each arm had five fingers, and these fingers were webbed. This creature also had a fin attached to its tail, so it was clearly build for swimming.
Though no one could be entirely sure what exactly this creature was, they personally preferred the title Sea Serpent. That's right, I said They. Each head that was attached to the body had its own unique personality, and the two of them were quite different from each other. Right now both were in dead silence, but once they got to talking you would be able to tell who was who. The nicer of the two called himself Jorm, though this head also had a habit of flirting, but was a gentleman none-the-less. However, the meaner of the two called himself Gand, and he could be about the rudest and most obnoxious creature on the face of the planet. This makes some people wonder how these two could have become attached to each other.

It didn't take long for Omega to realize he'd made a big mistake coming here. Metal claws dug into the tree as the reptilian attempted to get out of the muck. Grunts and roars accompanied this attempt, and eventually the heavy chain and metal rings were free of the mud, with the grarrl perched precariously in the low tree.
The metal helmet and rings glinted faintly in the sunlight filtering though the trees, coming more and more visible as Omega brushed the mud off his limbs. Bronze claws gripped the tree for support and his powerful tail whipped through the air, sending the chain rattling down his back.
Now would probably be a good time to explain the strangeness of the situation, however. The grarrl was not of strange size or had any distinguishable markings. The metal armor was merely hanging suspended in the air. Omega, his invisibility keeping any sign of his physical being, would appear to anyone happening to pass as a disgruntled muttering helmet, rings and clanking chain. ...that happened to be dripping mud.

A slender lupess walked carefully across the water, her paws not even making the slightest ripple in the muck below her. The reflected sun off of the water gave her a some visibility but that disappeared as she stepped into the shadows. She dodged the over hanging branched of the giant trees and finally stopped to look around. The animals around her seemed to quiet slightly as she came in to the territory, showing that her presents in the underwater forest was unwelcome...
The lupess's name was Dreamato and her name expressed what she usually did, delivering dreams... Although at this moment she wasn't doing quite that, she actually had some time off for her dreaded job and was making use out of her time. See, she was a ghost, a ghost that punished people and did so by traumitizing them with nightmares; free time from such a horrid job was rare.
Dre looked around, wanting to use this break to discover things that she didn't have a chance to while she was alive. So many sights, so many sounds, it was all sort of new to her and she was actually enjoying every bit of it. She didn't focus on the bad things, she wasn't here to do so, she just took in all the good. To her the trees were so neat, being able to survive while halfway submerged in water, and the wildlife that surrounded the slimy liquid below her... She wanted to learn so much about it but had so little time before she was beckoned again by her ever demanding work...

((Swamp, huh? Hehe... I know just who to play. *snickers evilly*))
No matter how ugly to the normal eye, nature was always beautiful in the view of the red Shoyru wandering along the 'path', if you could call it that; more like the only walkable way around that she knew of. She could fly, but why bother when she could enjoy the view down on the ground? The sounds of the swamp filled her heart with glee and her mind with calm. Really, she was here with a job to do, but it needn't be completed for some time, so why not relax and enjoy the beauty of the swamp?
((Ahhh.. stupid short intro. XD This is happening before she's painted, fyi. xDDDD Buahahahahaha!))

Two pairs of eyes darted around the swamp, scanning the area for any signs of life. One of the heads, Gand's, tongue slid out of his mouth and flicked a few times. He collected several interesting smells before slurping his tongue back into his mouth. 'Three other beings, one of the walking dead' he said on a telepathic line to his other half.
'Ah, how incredibly odd. One wouldn't think that others would be out in a swamp, unless they're swimmers like us. We should go investigate.' The other head, Jorm, replied on the same telepathic line.
'Ah, yes, let's. I'm particularly interested in the walking dead. Wouldn't it be great if someone died around here?' Though Gand could only dream. He didn't smell a dead body, just the form of something that died once in their life, though he couldn't tell exactly what it was.

Dre waltzed across the slime covered water, using her own ways of seeing if there were others around. She detected about four bigger individuals, each giving off brain activity... She stopped once more and looked down at the water, seeing movement under her and curiosity striking interest. Something was swimming under her but it wasn't quite clear under the water. She sent out a dreamlet ((a mini dream)), "Who are you...?" She asked in the creature's head, wondering what would live in water like this.

Gand froze and blinked a few times, wondering if he were going crazy. The voices inside his head were talking to him again, and this time it wasn't his other half. This was a feminine voice, and it sounded curiously familiar. He figured he better answer the being's question, though wasn't entirely sure how he would go about doing that. He decided he would go about it in the same manner as how he would try and talk to Jorm. 'My name if Gand. I am part of Jormungand, the great world snake. What is your business inside my mind? If you're fishing around, I'm not sure you're going to like what you'll find; however, you're more than welcome to it.'
