Tigris looked out over the empty beach. Usually the beaches on mystery island were full of tourists during this time of day, but not now. Now it was raining. She didn't care though, actually she absolutely loved the rain. It made the world a different place, not darker, just different. It made the tourists disappear, and the colors showed better against the gray sky.
It was cold outside, odd for Mystery Island. Tigris zipped up her sweater, a blue and purple knitted one, she didn't need it most of the time, but she had it, for days like today. The feeling of the rain against her fur was one that most Pets hated, but it was Tigris's favorite. Sometimes she wondered if she was part fish, because of the fact that she actually liked being wet.
She walked along the beach feeling the sand squish between her toes. As she passed by a Lemoran tree she picked off a piece of the fruit. Not may people liked it, but she did. The only problem Tigris had with it was that it took her so long to peal it. As she dug into the fruits peal with an elegantly long finger, her thoughts wandered.
She reached out with her mind, wondering if she would find someone else. She figured she wouldn't, otherwise she wouldn't have done it, people don't usualy like it when you go into their heads. How was she to know there was someone else out here? Tigris hoped that the person she had found, hadn't felt her mind brush against theirs.
Unfortunately they had. Tigris could hear someone coming this way, towards her. She quickly turned herself inviable so that they couldn't see her.

A slender lupess sat on one of the nearby docks, her long legs hanging over the edge and floating just above the water. Rain slowly started to fall, which was common in such a tropical place, but then the drizzle became a steady pour. Dre got up and started to walk along the beach as the rain continued to fall; her clothes, for some reason, remained dry along with her fur and hair. She kept her head down but let her eyes look around the area until they landed on a small kougra but in the blink of an eye the kougra disappeared. Dre straightened out, her eyes narrowing and her muscles tightening. She casually put her hands into her pockets, acting as if she didn't see the kougra but remained weary.
She was a tall, thin, teal lupess and with two huge grey wings that were, at the moment, folded tightly at her sides. Jewelry hung from all over the place, her ears, neck, wrist, and wings. A thick silver band with small blue beads and a single blue feather was wrapped around her tail. She wore a dark grey sleeveless shirt and darker grey cargo pants which were held up by a cyan belt. The kougra's disappearance still nagged her mind though and as she passed the point where she knew the kougra had been. She looked down at the last set of footprints in the sand and smile slightly. "You're not the only one my friend..." She said lightly and faded out herself, her body and clothing becoming invisible.

Tigris knew she had been caught. She could see it in the Lupe's eyes. Damn! Tigris thought as she watched the Lupe. She had wings...odd for a lupe, and she was wearing enough jewelry for it to be considered amour.
Tigris smirked. Tasteless. Far too much of a good thing The Kougra thought as she moved away, practically gliding over the sand, to make sure she wouldn't get caught.
She climbed up a tree, to get a better view of what was going on. She wasn't especially tall, but she had a slender build, and was able to climb up as nimbly and gracefully as a dancer. She ran a finger across the black velvet ribbon choker around her neck.
she watched as the lupe also turned invisible.
"Can't have you spoiling my fun." Tigris whispered to herself. Closing her eyes the muttered something under her breath.
A shadow appeared near her. "Find the lupe. Track her." Tigris said. As she climbed down from the tree. she couldn't stay in one spot too long. That would make it too easy to find her.

She watched as the footprints in the sand started to appear again and lead to a tree which shook slightly as the kougra climbed up it. She heard her mutters perfectly and chuckled to herself. Something appeared though, it's long dark shape stretched across the sand. "Find the lupe. Track her." The kougra's voice said and the tree shook again as the kougra climbed down.
Dre faded out some more so really all that was there was her mind. Along with being invisible she was also untraceable... For she was dead, a ghost, not giving off any heat waves or anything. It was like she wasn't even there and truthfully she wasn't... What are you hiding for? Dre said to her in a small dreamlet, for her power was to implant dreams in other people's minds. She used this power a lot for communicating but the main reason she had it was to deliver nightmares to those who have done wrong and have gone by without a punishment

((May I join? If not then I’ll delete this. )) “Cold and wet” A male darigan kougra grumbled. “Some vacation this is going to turn out to be.” Or would have been, if he was actually on vacation. But the truth was that he was here, Mystery Island, on business. But it was always business with him; he hardly ever did anything fun. Being wet especially wasn’t fun. He hated being wet, absolutely hated it, to the point where you could even say he was afraid of it. His biggest fear is having water collect around him, even if it was just a small puddle. Water falling on him was uncomfortable, but as long as it wasn’t trying to ‘eat’ him, he was fine. The cold made it even worse. Isn’t Mystery Island supposed to be warm?... Cold weather was number two out of all the things he hated, water obviously being number one. He just didn’t tolerate it well; found it uncomfortable. This kind of cold wasn’t bad, though, and he could tolerate it. It wasn’t like it was as cold as Terror Mountain. It was just cold enough to make the fur on his body stand on end. To sum things up, he was a bit miserable at the moment. And to top things off; his accomplice was missing in action. The man who was supposed to give the Darigan his next instructions was late, which was odd because he was never late. Wonder what’s keepin’ ‘em…Strips was a tall Darigan with a muscular build. Too tall, actually; standing 6 foot 5 at full height. He used to think this made him special, but truthfully only his size made him a formidable opponent, for he didn’t have any powers or special abilities. Currently, he was propped up against a concrete building. Water dripped from his semi-long, black hair, which stopped at his shoulders. His black T-shirt and blue-gray jeans were also soaked, indicating that he had been standing in the rain for a while. His black, bat-like wings drooped tiredly behind him; blood red eyes stared out over the beach. Oddly enough, for once he actually wasn’t armed. Normally he carried a small dagger on him, or a pistol of some sort, but this time he was instructed not to. He found it odd how he had been told not to bring a weapon on this business trip, but his sources had never been wrong before so he did as he was instructed. He was tired of waiting though, and he decided to find some place drier to hang out, if that was even possible. He left his cozy little wall and began walking down the wet streets.

((Might I join? If not I'll delete this as well.))
Omega crouched under the large sheltering tree he had managed to find close to the coastline, pulling his cloak closer about him in an attempt to keep the cold off. It didn't help that his armor was not retaining any kind of heat, and the cold metal was making him shiver almost as much as the rain falling on him.
His normal gladiator armor was damp from the rain, even under the dark red cloak he wore draped over his shoulders. Occasionally he took a dryer part of the fabric and wiped the rain from his helmet, which was dripping in his eyes and down his neck. Streaks and droplets of water were visible on his frame, and anyone who bothered to look close enough would easily be able to see the grarrl in this weather.
Omega stared out on to the empty beach, feeling right miserable and wondering why he had bothered coming out instead of just stayng with Phyn or Gorrio, his friends from the island. Soemthign caught his eyes thugh, and he leaned forward, one hand on his sword hilt as a shadow appeared under a tree, and said tree bounced more than the wind would allow for. Omega slowly rose, pulling his sword from his scabbard and following the thing with apprehension.

OOC: Everyone can join!
IC:What are you hiding for? the lupess asked. Well not really...it was more in Tigris's head.
Tigris blinked, surprised. So she wasn't the one Tigris had felt. “People don't like it when you go into their heads.” She said as she slowly faded back into existance. “I felt someone's mind. I thought they had felt me, so I hid. Not very good at it am I?” she gave a small chuckle.
She walked over to a rock big enough to sit on and sat down. It was hard, but not too bad, at least it was polished smooth by the water constantly rolling over it at hight tide. Tigris started off into the distance and absentmindedly traced the dragon tattoo curling up her fore-arm.
“Misstressss....” Tigris heard her shadow hiss. It was more air than anything. “Something comes, sword in hand.”
Tigris rolled her eyebrows. “What?” she asked. It didn't take her long to figure it out though. She saw a suit of fallowing the shadow. Another invisible one? Let's see what happens..

Call your friend off and I'll stay out of your head... Dre replied, eyeing the shadow that remained in sight. Her head tilted to the side as a voice came from it and the Kougra replied. She looked up at a familiar shape and smiled slightly, she wasn't exactly sure if it was the person she thought it was. Shiny new armor was latched all over the invisible body and the rain made the see through skin slightly visible. "Omega?" She said with much curiosity in her voice, she made herself visible though kept her body passive for the shadow's presents still bothered her.

So....cold the Darigan thought as he continued walking down the road; wrapping his wings tighter around his body. He really hated this; words couldn't describe how much he hated this weather.
He kept walking until something caught his eyes, something shiny under a tree. It looked like a large suit of armor, but when he looked at it closer, he thought he saw something inside the armor. "Maybe I'm hallucinatin’" he spoke to himself as he kept staring.

((Joining ^^))
"I hate the rain. I hate the rain. I hate the rain." Umber muttered to herself in a steady mantra as she walked along the beach soaking wet, dark brown hair looking nearly black with the water and relative darkness outside, plastered to her head, and hanging in dripping curtains from her face.
The chestnut lupe was dressed oddly in that she really wasn't dressed for the weather at all. Unusually cold for the tropical island, she could have thought to wear atleast a sweater. Instead, she was wearing a sleeveless black shirt, and a pair of grey-and-white-plaid-pants that looked as if someone had hacked them off at the knee. Below this, she wore a pair of combat-esque boots, which were... you guessed it.. black.
She didn't appear to be cold, however, merely agitated. If agitated was an adequate word.
Umber swore suddenly, "I hate the (insert curse word of choice) rain!" The flames in her iris-less eyes suddenly rose, hiding all traces of white. A great fire suddenly engulfed her, making her hair ripple upwards, as if pulled by a strong wind, and then it was gone, leaving the lupe dry, but no less irate.

((I guess the person who made the thread is gone...))
Omega turned, catching sight of Dre as she appeared. He grinned, moving his fist to his heart in salute, the metal of his vanguards clacking against his breastplate.
"Dre? It certainly has been a while, hasn't it?" he asked as he began walking over, glancing around for whatever creature he had spotted eariler. He kept one hand on the hilt of his sword, and drops of water flew of his tail as it swung powerfully behind him.
A flash of light in the distance caught his attention, and he watched it wearily for a moment, some of his attention still turned on the ghost before him.
