((ok I'm starting, anyone else want to post after me go ahead))
A bunch of pets strolled through the market, two of them looked absolutely miserable but the three females seemed to have no problem shopping for cloths. It was an odd bunch; two bori, a kougra, and one and half lupes ((xDDD)).
"Oh look at this!" One of the bori exclaimed, smushing her face against the window. She had on a golden yellow button-down shirt and blue jeans capris on, two slits had been cut in the shirt for her two wings that sprout from her back. Her skin was a light pink that and her darker pink hair was pulled back into ponytail, leaving her bangs to hang in her face.
"It's just a petpet...." Said the hybrid, he was wearing a black hoodie and dark baggy jeans. His spiked tail dragged on the concrete behind him as he looked through the window at the yipping petpets.
"Ohhhhh but Lue, it is soooooo cute!" the tan kougra said pressing her face at the window next to the bori's. She had on a aqua shirt that complimented her eyes and shorts. Her long dark brown hair reached the bottom of her back and her tail swished back and forth, happily, making the two golden rings jingle.
"You already have a petpet, Azura..." the lupe said, she her voice was light and trailed off as if what she said was not really important. She was wearing and old-fashion grey dress that came up to her knees. A feather necklace hung loosely around her light cyan tail.
"Well I don't have one yet!" The other bori said looking through the glass with the other two females. He had on a white shirt and blue jeans. Messy, dark green hair was held out of the bori's eyes by a pair of black sunglasses.
"Yes, that makes three out of five, we're going in!" Cera, the pink faerie bori, said grabbing the other bori's hand and dragging him in.
Rasi followed willingly, knowing he really didn't have choice in this, "I guess we are going in..." He said as the door closed behind him.
Azura followed behind them, the other two pets grudginly entering as well.

((Uh, I wanted to post first --' I had to finish Phyn's anthro form pic ref first though. Aw well))
Claws clicked as the picture was caught on film, and the Ruki managing the camera frowned as he subject continued to fidget. "Please, stop moving, if you please." she snapped, her eversized antennea flicked back and forth with impatience. The light blue dress she wore covered her malformed body, and her wings stuck out from her shoulders. Tail whipped back and froth as she finshed the job, and the relieved quiggle bounced off to her mother.
"You can pick up the pictures from my studio in a few days." she said, and the mother of the young pet handed over a few neopoints. "Thank you so much, you have no idea how hard it is to find someone who can keep her still," the parent joked, before ushering her child off into the crowd.
Phyn watched them go, hanging her camera off her shoulder with her canvas letterbag full of art supplies. Purple hued eyes glanced about the busy marketplace, a frown on her face.
((Gotta go do homework, will add people and continue later))

It was hard to remember why exactly they were walking shoulder-to-shoulder in the packed marketplace of Neopia Central, and not back home in Shenkuu. A red-and-lavender Shoyru with a blue dress and a gold crown pressed her face up against a shop window, crying out in gleeful Shen, "Kawaaaaiii!", ignoring the odd looks she got as she did so. The faerie Xweetok behind her rolled her eyes. She wasn't sure whether it was weirder for someone looking like her to be pressing her face against a dirty window, or for her to be screaming in a language most Centralners wouldn't know. She, of course, could understand the Shoyru, as could the pirate and fire bug and human behind her. "Mama! These shoes are so cute!" Again, she was talking in Shen, which she did often when she was excited--not that they didn't speak it all the time anyway. "Look at them! Looklooklooklook!" The fire Xweetok and pirate Shoyru snickered. Lucy hated shoes. "Roni, if you want 'em, buy 'em yourself," Lucy told her dismissively in Neopian. "Just... don't make me go in there." "Ahh, Mama, where's your girly spirit?!" cried Roni teasingly. * "So, tell me... how long have you been aimlessly roaming the globe?" "Why so formal?" "Just answer the question." "Well... I suppose I haven't really had a place to call my home. Ever." "Ah, I see." "What about you?" "Me?" "Yeah." The cloud Aisha lifted her head toward the sky thoughtfully before answering. "I never had a home either. At least, not one I remember." She looked at the electric Gelert. "I've always just taken the way I thought was best to take." "Sooo, that led us here? To Neopia Central?" "Aye. That it did." The Gelert looked around, then sighed. The bustling city had absolutely nothing about it that would remind her of the Lost Desert, but the Darigan Kougra she saw nearby sure did. But when he turned around, she found with a heavy heart that it wasn't who she thought it was. Not that she'd expect to see him here, of course. After all, she hadn't seen him in over three months. And it wasn't as if she were in love with him or anything. She just felt like she lost touch with a close brother. But still... she hadn't ever stopped missing him. It was a bit depressing, actually, and she had to laugh at it. "What's up?" the Aisha asked suspiciously. "Oh, nothing." The breeze fluttered the hat on her head and she smiled at the day.

Of course, the blundering city brought him into the open. And no matter where he was he was easy enough to spot. twisting in those crazy aerial displays of his, the hissi spread his winglike arms out and caught the air, avoiding the occasional pteri and other flying neopian.
Glowing scales and feathers gave the sky about him a radioactive look, but the glowing hissi didn't spare it a thought. A grin crossed his face as the sunlight glinted on his helmet, the spare wire strung about his arm whipped about in the wind, and the compass attached to the belt on his shoulder crazily attempted to keep up with his turns and spirals. His white tunic flutered a bit as he spiraled, a leather belt keeping it tight at the end of his torso. Attached the to belt was a thick leather bag, which at the moment seemed to be bulging and closed tight.
Gorrio slowly drifted in toward the ground, and the neopets who were paying attention soon caught on and scampered out of the way. Doing his best to squeeze himself into the small space allotted, Gorrio dropped to the ground, with the usual 'thanks for moving' phrase that followed landing in the market.
The hissi looked baout him, eventually finding the store he was looking for, and heading off in that direction. The pack that was attached the large strap started muttering and soon a dim glowing came from the cracks. "It's alright Andrej, we're almost there," the hissi assured the package, reaching back and holding it in his arms now, as he slithered up to the store. With his sapre hand he opened the recently closed door, a small spark emitting from the metal as it reacted to him. He opened the sack, taking out the dented buzzler who was here for repairs.

"Hey! Get back here!" Dhiablos' sneakers pounded the pavement as he skidded around the corner and ran down the street, Roque close behind him. She sped up and ran beside him, her black hair trailing behind her. "Smooth," Dhia said as he ran, "Real smooth. You've been back for less than 24 hours and you're already theiving." Roque laughed. "You know it. You just wished you posessed my awesome skills." An NC cop turned the corner and ran after them. "Get back here, you theiving little brats!" He was a lupe, tall and lanky, and was catching up to them. "We gotta hide -- quick, in here-" Dhia opened the door of a rather busy-looking petpet shop and pulled Roque in. The noise of loud petpets and busy shoppers muffled their talking. "I think he missed us - that was too close, seriously." Roque grinned. "It's not like he would have caught you or anything. You would have easily escaped." The ixi nodded. "Perhaps, but I'm trying to keep a low profile, especially after that stupid holiday." He shook his head. "She probably told the cops as soon as she got home..." "You worry too much." Roque, a tall and lanky pirate, shoved her hands in the pockets of her long, dusty coat and browsed the petpets absent-mindedly. She wasn't hard to notice, she jingled as she walked, covered in stolen articles and jewellry and wore a vivid red ribbon around her forehead, mostly to keep her black shiny curls away from her face. Old boots scuffed the floor, barely concealed by weatherworn, seaworthy jeans that were a few inches too short. Her xweetok tail swished side to side as she walked, and the hooped earrings jangled in her large ears.
Dhiablos let out a long sigh, and rubbed his eyes anxiously. He needed a haircut -- his long, messy hair kept getting in his eyes and making them itch. He walked over to a cage of Babaas and watched them play. His clothes were simple - jeans, old shirt that was a little too small, old jacket, dirty sneakers. The brown collar was around his neck still, and he fumbled with it nervously. It was a little too tight. A Babaa hopped over and stared at him. It had beautiful, bright eyes and a white fluffy coat. Dhia stared back with vivid blue eyes and scraggly green fur, a pair of horns protruding from his skull, yellowed teeth and dark circles around his eyes... "Rarr." he said quietly, almost boredly. The Babaa shrieked loudly and scurried off to its companions.

((colors where too blinding sooooo yeah))
"Naaa, I don't like dogs..." Rasi said absent mindlessly, rejecting a green puppyblew Cera had shoved in his face and shoving his hands in his pockets. Lue cleared his throat, making his point about Rasi's comment. Rasi gave a weak laugh, "Uh, yeah, I meant small dogs..." "You don't like Lilly?" Azura asked, big, bright, blue eyes looking up at him. "Small, uh, green dogs..." Rasi corrected again, trying to make it so everyone was happy. "Well there are other petpets..." Cera said turning around. Her eyes caught the sight of a green ixi; her face grew pale. She turned around quickly to face the others, blocking their view of what was behind her "Ummmm, hey, you know what, Dre was right, you don't need a petpet!" She gave fake smile and pushed them along to the door. "Let's go, uh, get something to eat..." "Sounds good to me!" Lue said, his tail wagging as he followed Cera. "Hey, what's wrong you look like you just saw a --" Dre cleared her throat, interrupting Rasi. "Yeah...." Rasi said sighing and following as well. They shoved through the crowd to the door, Dre having no problem at all with the crammed shop. They angered a few people as they shoved them to the side to slip by, "HEY! Watch where you're going!" A man said loudly, shoving Lue. Lue growled but was then shoved to keep going by Azura, "Why are we leaving?" She called out from the back of the group, confused. Cera didn't answer as she stumbled out the door and stopped, kneeling down and putting her hands on her knees to catch her breath. Everyone finally made it out with only slight damage done to the people around them... "What was that all about?" Lue said annoyed, not liking to case a lot of attention to himself. "I mean yeah, food, but what was the rush?" Again Cera didn't answer...

There was a sort of commotion that both Xweetoks' sensitive ears picked up. Neither of them cared, but the faerie was curious. "I'll be right back," she said absentmindedly.
"All right, Ara, but don't go too far," Lucy mumbled.
Arathyne wandered off, making her way into a Petpet store. ((xDD)) A flash of colors zipped past her on her way in, nearly knocking her over. She glared back at them and walked inside. When she neared by a Babaa cage, she noticed someone familiar.
No way, she thought, it can't be...? "Dhiablos?" she asked.

Dhia felt someone brush past, he turned and saw a kougress talking to the rest of the group. They were an odd group. He stared. A ghost, a white bori, and island kougra, a er.. lupe and- "-is that-?" started Roque. Everything else went silent to Dhia. Dread filled his brain. Dhia nodded, staring out the window. He'd never seen her so scared. His stomach clenched. "- so she's -" He nodded again. "- that bori?" She pointed to Cera. Dhia nodded again. Roque grinned. "No." Dhia said flatly. "We have to get out anyway, we've got to get to the park, remember?" "Fine." They walked out of the petpet store quietly, Roque pulling Dhiablos along with her hand. He carefully looked in the opposite direction to Cera. "Hey! You!" The cop ran up and grabbed Roque's shoulder. "You theif!" Roque just grinned. "Can I help you, officer?" Click. "You are under arrest." said the cop, cuffing Roque's hands together. "Anything you do or say-" "-Hey, let her go!" Dhiablos heard himself say loudly, hoping he sounded more intimidating than he felt.

He hadn't heard her. She scowled, and followed silently after them.
"You're under arrest," someone said.
She looked to see a cop cuffing the Xweetok accompanying Dhiablos. Now, Arathyne didn't particularly care for Dhiablos at all, but she hated the police more. Suddenly the cop was in two, sliced horizontally across the waist, and blood spilled all over Dhiablos and his companion.
Ara gasped and covered her mouth with her hand. What just happened?
((Sorry for the bloodshed on the first page... there won't be more for a long time! XD))

Cera's head turned as she saw Dhia and another girl, her face paler yet. What's wrong? Dre sent, a worried look on the dream figure in her head. That's..... Cera sent back but couldn't finish. A cop came up behind the girl Dhia was with and put hand cuffs on her, the girl seemed not to mind but Dhia sure did.... "So what about that food!" Lue said smiling, not noticing Cera or knowing about the conversation she and Dre where having. "Lue, shutup!" Dre snapped angerly. Well... Dre asked still glaring at the hybrid. "Y'all go ahead, I catch up in a few..." She said weakly, forcing another smile. Azura seemed concerned but didn't think the males would be good around this situation, whatever it was. "Dre, keep an eye on her..." She whispered to the ghost, leading the other two to the pizza place around the corner.
Cera managed to get some color back into her face as she walked up to Dhia and the other girl. She was about to say something when blood sprayed everywhere. Cera gasped and looked around, only seeing the angry expression on Dhia's face. She shook her head and looked away, hoping that he had changed at least a little....

(Oh wow this rp is really movinG! xp) EDIT: Sorry I was loged in and Erika was typing Willefethen, or Will as he liked being called, wandered down the streets of Neopia Central. He was refreshed from his night at the inn and was now making his way out. On his way out, however, he spotted someone--actually, several someones--that made his blood run cold. Upon seeing the pirate Shoyru at the shoe store, he froze in his tracks. "V...Vi?" he whispered. No, it can't possibly be here.... But the bracelets and necklaces... all of them... it was so her.

Roque shivered, covered in blood. She saw Cera come, then turn away. She glanced at Dhia, who looked as bewildered as she was. "Are.. are you ok?" he said, walking over to her. Roque shuddered. "I think so, hey wait-!" she said to someone behind Dhia. Dhia span around and saw Cera. "Cera!" he said.
Roque glanced back at the now deceased officer, then up at a faerie xweetok. She gasped. "Did you..?"
