No... I think those are a dark silver..." I said turning to look at them, "Try again." I said a big cheesy smile appearing on my face. I loved this game, mostly because I always won and because I was always the person making others find things. "Who's that?" I asked looking at the newcomer.
---------------
Cera jumped, that was too close. She could smell the people burning under the flaming rock, "Lets move..." She said but didn't move. Dhia seemed to be in some sort of daze that she could only smile at. She was quickly snapped back into reality by another hit, this one was close too but didn't hit the building. She crawled out from under the table and continued to crawl farther back into the shop. She reached the back of the store and whistled for Dhia to join her, definitely not wanting to be alone in a time like this...

Ara rolled out of the way and jumped to her feet in a braced pose, one hand on the ground in front of her. "NIKO?!" she screeched. She grabbed him by the back of his jacket and, with impossible strength, lifted him off of Roan and tossed him at the opposite wall. She helped Roan up and glared at Niko. She felt her head ache slightly. "No," she whispered, holding it in her hand. She barely noticed the crash next door. ---------------- Roni almost fainted when the meteorite ((it's a meteorite if it hits the earth's surface, meteor if it burns in the atmosphere, asteroid if in space)) crashed into the building. She dashed out from under the hiding spot, ignoring Daani, Trei and Vi's protests, and looked up at the sky. She jumped and a step appeared under her from the ground. She moved her hand forward and the step coiled diagonally up until she reached a roof, leaving a trail of rock in midair, attached only to the ground and roof. She looked at the sky and held her arms up. "Dear Mother Hidri Sel, please let me not screw up," she prayed. She sent her power up into the sky. The meteors protested under her invisible shield, and sweat dripped down her face. All of them stopped and gathered atop her shield.

Cera moved and he was suddenly alert. "Okay - coming" He said and crawled after her. Where she was going, he didn't know. He just wanted to be with her.

Cera paused before she leaned back, did the meteors stop? She saw the outline of Dhia coming toward her and smiled, "Do you think it stopped?" She whispered peeking out from behind the booth a little to see if it had, other people were doing the same thing... "Maybe we won't die..." She said her hopes lifting. She sat down though just in case. She had no idea what would come next...

"Omega, get over here!" Gorrio shouted over his shoulder in the crowded building it was almost impossible to hear anything. Netween the ground shaking and the general chaos many people were whimpering or screaming. The hissi moved in his spot, looking up at the royal shoyru.
"Yeah, what is it, Gorrio," Omega asked, coming over and standing over the hissi. His glowing friend didn't need to answer, Omega caught sight of it enough. "I wonder how long she can keep it up. Or is it just going to keep going." he stated, looking down at the hissi.
Gorrio returned the gaze to where he assumed Omega was, but didn't reply and returned to his silent vigil.
Phyn had been sitting at the table, head in her hand and with Omega's armor laying in a heap in front of her. She was shooting death glare at the occasional screamer, but she wasn't saying anything more than the hissi. Her torn wings hung limp down her back.

The intense pressure was beginning to wear on Roni. It seemed like the meteors were really angry now. If she dropped this shield, the entire Central would end up in ruins. "Oh, man, why'd I do this in the first place?" she muttered sadly.
Back down below, Trei got out from under the shield too. She looked angrily at Daani and Vi. "If you two are just going to sit there and watch Roni kill herself, go ahead," she snapped. "But I'm going to go help her." She hopped onto the little rock step and ran up the rocky path to the roof it ended at, not even thinking about what would happen if she slipped and fell. "Roni!" she called. "You have wings, why'd you make this?!" And even though her sister couldn't answer, she knew the reason: so wingless help could come. Trei stood next to her and took Roni's hand in her left one.
Before Roni crumbled under the weight of the shield, Trei closed her eyes and fet what little fire energy she'd regained in the last hour to her sister. Trei felt a little weaker, but it didn't matter; Roni was stronger, even from just a little boost. She pushed the shield up higher with her power, forming another thin invisible layer on it to strengthen it.
"Vi! Daani!" Trei called. But they were already here, Vi flying up and Daani rushing up the trail.
"I can't really do much," Daani said, "but I'll be a more of mental support, how 'bout that?" She grinned sheepishly.
"Here, I'll help you too, Ron," said Vi. "I've more power than Trei right now. Take it: I don't need it." She took Roni's other hand, both of which were still upraised.
Trei fed more of her own power as Vi supplied hers in a sort of stream. Roni had never felt so strong. She pulled her arms back slightly, then shoved upward with a yell. The shield bounced upward and the meteors flew upward into the atmosphere, burning away what hadn't on the way down. Tiny bits of rock splattered back onto the shield. She took flight, collecting the rock and more meteors until she was hidden in the dark clouds.
"Will she be okay?" Daani asked. Neither Vi nor Trei gave an answer.

Omega turnedm tapping the hissi was they saw this new twist unfold. "Gorrio, head out there, see if they think it's safe enough, or if they need help." he said, moving back to the hissi could push his way to the door.
Gorrio nodded, slithering through the crowd while Omega kept everyone else inside for now. Just a matter of standin in the doorway and shouting.
As soon as he hissi was free he took wing, flying quickly over to where the girls were huddled. His ingbeats thudded the air as he landed, giving a sort of hasty salute before addressing the girls.
"Whatever your friend did, it really helped. Do you think it's safe enough to let people out, or not?" the hissi asked, making eye contact with the girls through the green lens of his visor. Sparks flickered across his crest, and he occasionally glanced up at the sky or back to the building, where the crowd of people were watching through his friend.

Roan knew this type of headache. He quickly grabbed her hand and kissed her gently on the mouth, then tried to calm her out of it. To Niko he said, “You’d best not aggravate her again, pirate. Unless you wish for this to be both our dying days.”

((XD haha.. Everyone's all like "ONG THE WORLD'S ENDING ONG I LOVE YOU!" XDD))
"The heck with it if I know." I said, shrugging, gripping the bars and staring out into the darkness. "That wall's black." I volunteered, pointing.

Vixcy screamed loudly as the metoerites began to fall, but was herded in the little cafe along with the others, and her and her group took a seat, feeling wet and much confused. The aisha sighed, putting her head in her hands, and jumping as each new metoer fell. "Where's the others? What's going on?" Saluki said disheartedly, a tear trickling out of one of her large amber eyes. Vann and Skypii looked sympathetic, and that's when Vann noticed Cera.. He considered going over for a visit, but saw she was with another dude... Shrugging in a seemingly understanding way, he stayed put.
Vixcy on the other hand was trying to track down the grrarl... He seemed like he knew something... What did he say his name was? Omega or something? She soon found a ruki, sitting besides a large pile of armor, and headed over in that direction, tripping over something as she did, and sprawling forward on her face.

(( xDDDDD ))
"I don't know..." replied Dhiablos, standing up like a few others were doing. Everything was quiet, and only a few people were murmuring. He walked over to the window and put his hand on the glass, staring skywards. The skies were still dark and cloudy, but the meteors seemed to have stopped. Is this the end, or is it the eye of the storm? he thought, wondering if that was possible in a meteor shower. "Hey Cera, I think it's safe - c'mon, we should go find your other friends." He shrugged, he didn't know them.

Cera looked at him a nodded, crawling the rest of the way out from under the table and joining him. She passed by an oddly familiar kougra, smiled weakly, and wave half-heartily; where had she seen him before...? She exited the shop and looked up at the dreary sky, staying close by Dhiablos and looking around for her family. More and more people started wondering in the streets again, everyone wondering if the chaos had finally stopped. "There they are!" Cera said, grabbing Dhia's hand and running toward one of the shops.
------------------
Azura watched as everyone filed out of the store, waiting there with Lue till it was almost empty. "Should we go or do you want to stay here?" She asked, concerned about her friend.
Rasi looked at the kougra and hybrid, "You guys stay here, I'll find Cera." He said and followed the group out seeing the pink bori right away with the guy she was talking to earlier. "Cera!" He said waving an arm to catch her attention.

Niko gasped, slightly taken aback, but then scowled. "How in the hell would it be the end of our lives?" he demanded. "If anything's gonna kill us, it's that damned weather outside!" He looked out. The meteors had stopped falling. There wasn't even any rain. Then he saw something. "Hey, Ara, isn't that your sister up there, on that roof?" He pointed.

Ara blinked, and then looked to where Niko pointed. Her headache was gone, but sudden terror gripped her when she saw Roni, Vi, Trei and... somebody else up on a roof. "Oh, crap," she said, knowing exactly why Roni's hands were outstretched like that. "Roni!" she called, running out of the store. The door fell over when she opened it, but she ignored it and ran outside. "Roni!" She took flight and landed next to them, but Roni had vanished into the skies by then.
"Don't distract her," Vi snapped. "She's trying to stop the meteor shower."
"She's not strong enough," argued Arathyne. "She knows that. She's suicidal!"
"Since when do you care?"
Ara stepped back at Vi's snap, though she didn't see why. She scowled. "Don't be stupid. She's my sister. I've got to help her." Before Vi or Trei or Daani could protest, she'd taken off after her sister.
"You're interferin' with the powers of space!" Daani called. "You'll die too!"
Not on my watch, she growled to herself, clenching her teeth and plunging up into the dark clouds.

Dhiablos spun around, hearing someone call Cera. "Hey, isn't that guy you were with before?" he said, pointing. The wind picked up a little and a newspaper tumbled across the road, or what was left of it. The meteor shower had left Neopia Central in ruins. A few buildings were still on fire, but many were reduced to rubble.

Cera looked at Dhia and then at Rasi who was waving his hands frantically, she laughed, "Yeah that's Rasi alright." She said and started making her way toward him, having trouble getting though the crowd. "Where's Lue, Dre, and Azura?" She asked when they finally made it to him.
"They are back in the store, Lue had come down with a cold or something and isn't feeling well." Rasi explained. He looked over at Dhia and nodded, remembering him from earlier.
