Out of the rain came another figure, his staff grasped firmly in his hand. Rain washed over his dark grey scales like oil, slipping off his skin into his cloths and onto the ground. The long black cloak was in the style of lost desert royalty, black with the gold trim, and his belt followed the design. ((for now imagine Jazan's evil coat/thing)) The dark pants he wore ended above his ankles, and his flipper like feet were bare, spashing in the water as he walked through the emptying market.
His tail whisked across the wet ground, and anyone could see at a glance that the jetsam looked quite out of place in Neopia central. On one of his hand was a ring, and many others of various colors and deisgns hung from the tatered bottom edge of his cloak and jangled form his maractite staff. Mismatched blue, yellow, and green eyes glanced about the square with a bit of contempt as the sorcerer strolled through.
Shalloanil looked about, holding his staff upright as he stopped in the rain, sensing the magic that the place reeked of at the moment.

Lue nodded and looked over at Ara and Cera. "I have to look for my friend anyway so I can help..." He suggested not really wanting to go back out in the chaos but knowing he would have to...
-----------------
Dre spotted a young female kougra, "Azura!" She said running to her, "Where is Lue, I though he was with you...?" She asked looking around for the others.
Azura shook her head, "No Lue told me to go back to the house and he would look for Cera and Rasi." She said, crossing her arms and shivering in the rain. She was soaked from walking in the rain and didn't really like being alone either, she was actually slightly relieved by Dre's appearance.
"Ok, well I think I saw your darigan friend and his family around here somewhere. Stay with them, you'll be safer than being alone." Dre said and disappeared again.
Azura brightened, "Hey where di--" She called out but Dre was already gone, she was surprised that she even mentioned Strips considering the bad relationship they had... She started looking around, happy that she wouldn't have to be by herself while all of this was happening.

((LOL! It tis, isn't it xD))
Umber scowled, looking again at her hands. Unlike the rest of her chestnut coat, they were stained black with soot, and also smoking slightly. Drift didn't come in the store after her, that was a relief. She frowned, looking at the group of pets. They seemed to know something was going on, running around all hustle and bustle. Normally she would not even consider walking up to them.. but this was not normal, was it?
She hesistated, then rose from her chair.
==== "'Scuse me, coming through.." "Ouch! My foot!" "Sorry!"
Vixcy dragged her group into the crowd and pushed forward, until they were standing right up against the crime scene tape. A gory scene greeted them - she actually covered her mouth, Saluki had squeezed her eyes shut, and Vann looked like he might just lose his lunch. Skypii just looked pale, a strange thing for a ghost..
====== Nerrone suddenly turned, peering away into the rain. "Someone's coming." she alerted Checkr, who turned half-heartedly to watch, as the jetsam made his way down the street, looking clearly from some other land. A pair of green-scaled wings appeared on the back of the kyrii for a split instant, in which her face rapidly turned to shock, before dissapearing again.
Nerrone bit her lip, not even noticing Checkr's problems at the moment. Her extrasensory perception was nothing to shake a stick at,actually, it was really only limited to the strongest emotions, and just tinges at that, but she could tell that there was a very faint (but if it was strong enough for her to even sense it, it must be strong indeed) air of magic about the Jetsam... and everywhere else, now that you thought about it.
"Sir.." she said, "Do you have any idea of what is going on?"
((Wow... this kind of thing makes you almost regret having so many pets XDD))

"She's a human," Ara offered, "with longer brown hair and hazel eyes and really pale skin..." Just then a breeze picked up in the restaurant and swept everybody's plates up and smashed them into a wall. She looked at Cera sadly, not even noticing the plates. "Something weird is going on. And I'm scared that there's more than just a few dangers out there." ----------------------------------------- "We're not close," said Trei, her hands beginning to heat up. The rain was light where they were, and she could feel a small ember igniting in her hands. "And we're not demons, either. Arathyne has no powers." At this Daani started laughing. "No powers? Honey, you are either more stupid than I thought or you're very good at acting!" Trei frowned. "What do you mean by that?" she asked carefully. "What do I mean by that?" With a half-hearted laugh, she lifted the eye patch over her left eye. An empty socket lay underneath. She snapped the patch back in place and held up her right hand. The two last fingers were missing. "Your powerless sister tore off my fingers and ripped out my eye. Thank goodness that's all she took before I managed to escape. She killed a whole village of people before reaching me. And she didn't even lift a finger. She hardly looked in the direction of the person she killed next!" "Lies!" Trei's hands exploded with flame. Daani was shocked. The fire was bigger than she'd expected. "Where is your Successor?" she demanded. "Where is the last Oracle?!" Daani shook her head and yelled, "I'll never tell you! That would be turning my back on my own kind!" "She won't be hard to recognize, if I see that charm around her!"

Tackafryln the Halloween Mynci held his scythe in his hand as he looked down at the chaos below in Noepia Central. He stood on a roof ,safe from the rain by his cloak hood. As it seemed, power was everywhere. The Rekah were obviously up to somehting. He smirked. At least his powers weren't malfunctionning. That could only be bad.

The entire group stopped suddenly upon coming to the mess that lurked in Neopia Central. They actually stopped because the one who had been leading them, Abigail, stopped suddenly. But once stopped they began to notice how chaotic everything had become. What was worse was that Abby had a strange look in her eyes as she stared off into space.
“Ragnerok is nigh! The end of the world has finally come! I told you all this day would come but none of you believed me. Come, Favio, we have work to do.” Gand said, laughing insanely while throwing his fist into the air.
Jorm glared and came about two inches away from slapping his other half a cross the head. “One, my name’s not Favio. And two, I’m sure there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation for all this…”
“I smell blood” Abby cut in, her eyes becoming void of all life; pure black in color.
“Abigail?” Strips asked as he grabbed the kougress by the arm to try to regain her attention. But it was too late. A cloud of black smoke completely surrounded the kougress and she disappeared into thin air. She reappeared near one of the torn bodies and knelt down beside it. The kougress waited for a moment before running her index finger through the puddle of blood, and then brought that finger to her lips to lick the still warm liquid from her finger.
Strips just stared at the location Abby had disappeared from, obviously puzzled by what had just happened. He didn’t know Abby could just vanish like that, and he suspected Abby didn’t know it either. She didn’t seem like herself; he had seen that look in her eyes before. “Um…” he started as he turned to Alisa. “What just happened?”
Alisa shrugged, “I haven’t the slightest idea…But I think I can locate her. You boys stay here, I’ll be back.” And with those words, Alisa walked away from the group to try and locate their missing leader.
Strips shook his head, as if trying to shake the puzzled feeling from his mind. “Alright then” he replied, though was mostly speaking to himself. His eyes wondered around for a moment and he quickly became lost in thought, until he felt something tackle him to the ground. That snapped him back into reality and he shoved the heavy hissi off him. “What the heck was that for?” he barked. ((XD))
The hissi quickly got back on their feet. “Sorry, but that big piece of road almost hit you.” Jorm said as he nodded toward the piece of asphalt. “It came from over there” he said and gestured towards a blue gelert.
Strips shook his head again, in disbelief this time. “No friggin’ way…My god, I’m hallucinatin’.”
Gand raised an eyebrow, “Someone you know?”

Azura scanned the crowded streets, several people screamed and the people all seemed to start backing up from around the thing they were all looking at. Curious, Azura made her way through; she had been wondering what all the chaos was about in the first place... She didn't manage to make it all the way through but the first sight of blood made her stop pushing. "Is that kougra.... drinking the blood?" Someone muttered, Azura looked around and sure enough a black kougra was kneeling in the puddle of blood. "Abby!" She called recognizing her.
------------------------------------
Cera jumped as the plates busted against the wall, "What's going on?" She asked Ara, slightly scared of her now. She knew that Ara had air powers but the last time they had met they were just forming... The breeze before the plates had smashed suggested that Ara might had done it. "Did you do that?" She asked, concerned about her friend.

((Are the Rekah already formed, or are they going to get together later?))
Phyn nodded, glancing out into the rain. It actually seemed more crowded now than before, but that didn't stop her. She had promised the xweetok she would find this Lucy character.
"It's alright, Lue. It's great to see you again, but it would be quicker if we just split up," she said in response to his comment, moving off toward the door. As she reached it she heard a resounding crash as what sounded like plates crashed against a wall. She stopped, sighing but not looking back, and walked out into the storm. She glanced around for any sign of this human, hoping to find her quickly.
-----------------
Gorrio nodded absentmindedly. He had been watching outside, and was rather astounded by what he was seeing. "All right, something must be wrong. I see at least one pyrokinetic losing control, someone else with electic powers who just blasted the street and looks confused, your Terror Mountain friend, and a kyrii who just sprouted wings for a moment," Gorrio observed, leaning, moving to see at different angles as his glowing reflected on the glass.
"I'm going out on a limb and guessing this isn't just us," he concluded, glancing over at the bori. He took off his helmet, hoping to get a better veiw of the street without it.

((Obviously they formed, unless they're not the cause of the magic freakout. I forget, what's the plot again??? xDDDDDDDD)) Ara looked at Cera, afraid, and shrugged. "I don't know," she told her sincerely. "I don't know what's with anything right now. I know this is a lame time to bring this up, but..." She looked down at the table, and said in almost a whisper, "I don't know who I am or what I can do. I don't know what I am." It was true. If asked what she'd done yesterday, she could answer, but if asked what she'd done between the hours of 5pm and 2am the day before, she wouldn't know. Sometimes... I wake up and I have no idea what I did the day before, she thought sadly. ---------------------------------------- Zcy looked at the hole she'd made in the ground and sighed. "My god, I’m hallucinatin’."She looked up. That voice was familiar. And so was the face she stared into. "S...Strips?" she breathed. Was it really him, or was she hallucinating too? ---------------------------------------- "The charm is different--you know that, you little piece of shit!" Trei didn't want to talk anymore. She threw the fire at Daani, who dropped to the ground in a dodging attack. She stood up, growling. "So I see you're a little faster," the Aisha snarled, rolling away to dodge another fireball. "But not fast enough!" The witch ground her fists together. The ember in the orb around her neck let off a bright glow as she put her hands together and slowly pulled them apart, a long stream of fire crackling between them. With a yell of fury, she tossed the stream after Daani, who dodged once more. She stood up, but frowned, and looked back just in time to see the stream come back after her. She cried out as her shoulder was scalded and she fell to the rough ground. The stream flew back to Trei, who gripped it in one hand. It had taken the form of a large flaming boomerang. ((Oh my God, I have this AWESOME picture in my head of Daani as a kid and Daani now... they are so different... damn computer!!!! *kicks*))

((lol, I'm having the same thing with Phyn )) The jetsam glanced up at the silver lupe, watching her for a moment before turning away. He had figured out well enough before what was going on, and had come to find the fruit of his finding. "Not at all, I just came here myself," he faked, turning away. As he did, though he spotted a flame that had materialized. The sorcerer turned, just in time to catch sight of a xweetok hurling a flame boomerang. He smugly grinned, leaving the lupess behind as he made his way over. Of course this magician had figured out the problem with the magic, and now was just the time to claim the bounty that came from it. Shallo reached into his pocket, pulling out a dull ring, looking like plain ore for now. As he neared the xweetok though, the effects of the twist in the magic on him became obvious. While normally it took him minutes to absorb someone's energy, now it only took a second as he pretended to slip on the wet ground, grasping onto the girl's arm. The effect was instant, his staff flared with blue light and in his hand the ring glowed, taking on a golden color. As well as this the girl's fire fizzed out, leaving her with nothing in her hands.

((xDDDD Lue too ^^
The Rekah have formed and are causing their distraction, when everyone figures out that their magic is wacked out some of them go against the magic doers, some of them try to help the magic people, and some of the magic people use their increased power for bad stuff xDDDD. While everyone is in a fret about the magic, the rekah people are trying to dominate the world ^^ OK?))
Cera didn't understand... How could she just forget who she is?? She remembers me... She stood up, "Come on, lets get you back to Lucy..." She said offering a hand to help her get up. She hated to leave her best friend so quickly but Lue wanted her to get out of her, Ara needed help that she couldn't really provide, and it looked like a war scene outside and she really didn't want to get caught out in it when it got even worse...

((Ooh! Ooh! And let's say the Rekah stole the humans! Like all of us and so our pets are like ownerless xDDDD))
Both Trei and Daani were equally stunned at the intervention of the Jetsam. But then Trei saw the ember in her necklace die down tremendously, and the energy she had left was remarkably low. She had only time to glare at the Jetsam and Daani before falling to the ground, the crescent moon birthmark on her left palm facing upward.
Daani started laughing after the shock had left. "Nice job, punk," she told the jetsam, "you just made my job a whole lot easier!"

Shallo straighted up, reaching back into his pocket. He leaned on his staff for balance, and just watched as the xweetok fell to the ground. However, he grinned at the aisha's comment.
"Ah, so you believe?" he jested, a malicious grin on his face as he grqabbed for her arm as well. His other hand emerged from his pocket, grasping a ring similar to the one used on the xweetok.
