Zuri continued flying. He hoped he was hard to see; since it was dark out and he was wearing black. "Oooooh man. Why is it I always get sent on these missions?" Nothing much was going on at the moment. He was just flying through the darkness. His eyes were glowing red, this allowed him to see in the dark, though it did kinda make him stand out in the darkness. He really wasn't flying all that, do to the darkness and he was trying to be a bit careful. Then Zuri heard something flying behind him. "Ah man." He thought to himself. He tried to be careful and he began to lower his altitude. He was carrying alot of stuff and it was hard for him to do anything with it all on. Zuri then peaked behind him and as he thought, it was a dark faerie, that was getting ready to do something. So Zuri tried to get himself some time. He turned around and he breathed out a burst of flame at the faerie. The faerie dove down and dodged the blast. She was surprised by it luckily and was thrown off.
Zuri then dove down to the ground all while trying to hold on to whatever he had. Once he landed he quickly threw off everything really quick and turned around to face the faerie. Which unlucky for him he wasn't ready for this. The faerie was right behind him and had her sword pulled out and was ready to strike.
The faerie struck at Zuri with her sword. Zuri only had time to put his arms up to block the sword. The sword went inbetween his arms as if it struck between two crossed swords. Zuri was blown back a bit, but luckily for him she struck his arms. His tough skin helped him out alot. Do to that he wasn't really harmed. Just a little soar now, like someone punching someone and leaving a bruise. "You little freaking..... Rrrrrrrrg."
"Awww, did I hurt the little baby?"
"Ha, you don't know who your dealing with."
"I don't do I?"
Zuri then pulled out his sword and flew towards the faerie. He gave a huge swing towards the faerie with his sword. The faerie managed to block it, but was blown back as well. This went on for some time. This faerie was a great fighter. Zuri hadn't had a good fight in a while. Eventually Zuri caught her off guard by breathing fire in her face while they were up close. While the faerie was screaming in agony, Zuri managed to slice the faerie's head off.
"As much as I'd love to leave you in agony, I don't have time."
At that Zuri went over and picked up his stuff and mounted it all again and he then took off for Terror Mountain yet again.

Dre tilted her head to the side, a confused expression on her face. "So you're not against them but not for them either?" She said finally realizing what he had said, "You're just trying to survive...?" She stated in more of a question than anything. It made sense, kind of. You were either for them, against them, or by yourself. Being by yourself made you have twice the number of enemies though because both sides now wanted you out of the way.... Dre herself was against them.

"Yep, that pretty much sums 'er up" Strips nodded. "Last time I checked, there was nothing wrong with trying to survive. And ta be honest with ya, if I had ta pick a side, I'd probably pick the one that would keep me alive the longest."
He did have a problem with the way the new Darigan Lords were running things, and an even bigger problem with the Darkest Faerie, but at this point he didn't see how he was going to make any difference in this war. He wasn't all that unique in any way, and since this thing had started he had really let himself go.
"Speakin' of pickin' sides and all, any change we'll be gettin' outa here any time soon?" Strips turned his attention to the Jetsam. "I appreciate you savin' me and everythin', but ya kinda left my dagger back in Neopia Central and I'd really like to get it replaced some time soon. I feel so naked without it."

Shallo glanced up for a moment, before turning back to the fire, the white light flickering to a more blue color for a moment before returning to its normal white.
"Just tell me where you want to go and I'll get both of you there tomorrow."
With that he got up, the fire dimming down till it was ginifigantly lower and he wrapped himself in the blanket, lying ont he floor and turning towards the wall, hoping sleep would come quickly despite the memories Dre had churned up.
((Gah, sorry, really having issues with replying to this Rp. Hopefully this will at least get it so we can timeskip.))

Dre watched the fire flicker, change colors, and then fade as Shallo got ready to go to sleep. She really didn't have any place to go. She kind of wanted to stay with allies then go back out on her own again. Shallo was taking good care of her, but if he was still like she remembered, he would want her gone as soon as possible so that he could continue on his merry way by himself. She let out a small short sigh before cuddling up tighter in her blanket and finding a place on the floor for her to lay down on. She had never really willed herself to sleep. She always collapsed from exhaustion and even then she was cold and laying on the dumpy wet ground. Now she was wrapped in a blanket, not hungry, and all her wounds were pretty much healed. It was kind of hard for her now. Plus her mind was busy thinking about everything that had happened today and things that might happen tomorrow. She played out scenarios out in her head about what she would say and do and how Shallo and Stripes might react. It felt so good to finally have sleep rush over her though and take hold.

"Hmm," a thoughtful noise escaped the back of Strips's throat. He really couldn't think of any specific place he wanted to go; he just wanted to get out of this cave-thing, and hopefully replace his dagger. Shallo looked like he was about ready to fall asleep, though, so he figured he had all night to think about it.
He sighed as he let his head fall back and rest against the wall of the cave; closed his eyes for a minute. Though he was tired, he just couldn't will himself into falling asleep. He had too much on his mind, and didn't feel very comfortable/safe where he was. Understandable, since he had just told two people, who were against the dark faeries and darigan, that he wasn't.
He lifted his head again and glanced between Dre and Shallo, who both looked like they were about ready to fall asleep, until his eyes finally shifted to view the dimming fire, and then locked on. For about five minutes, he didn't blink, and his muscles stayed completely still. Then after five minutes, his eyes melted into a pure shade of red, and he remained frozen. He would remain that way until he either snapped out of it, or he eventually passed out.

Zuri had been flying for quite some time now. It was beggining to get a lot colder and snow was falling. He was getting close to the main head quarters. Eventually it came into view. It was a large, white, metal, door placed inside of a large cave. Zuri went over to the sub entrance and opened the crank. There were several hidden cameras around looking at him as he entered.
Zuri opened the hatch and walked in. He got inside and met up with a few people. He just gave them the stuff and went straight to his room. He usually hung out here in the main base so he had his own quarters. He entered the room and took off his sheath and his "ninja suit" and put on normal clothes. He crawled into bed and went to sleep.

Eventually, Abby ran out of tears to cry. Eventually, she had nothing new to cry about. And eventually, she arose from the window-seat, and turned to leave her room. As of right now, there wasn’t a whole lot she could do; things were quieting down in the castle for the night, and she probably wouldn’t get a new task until tomorrow, if then. She hadn’t exactly completed her last task, and if the Darkest Faerie ever found that out she would never get another task; her head would be on a platter.
Since there was nothing to do, she decided to go on a short walk. As she walked through the castle, she clasped her hands behind her back, and kept her head held high; bowed to every Darigan soldier she passed. After a short time, she ended up walking down a staircase into the dungeon. She walked past rebel prisoners, trying not to make eye contact with them. Most of these people had either been tortured, or were getting ready to be. As she continued forward, she found her way into the torture chamber. Immediately she noticed the rank smell of rotting and burning flesh.
There were several more cells inside the torture chamber; skeletons were tied by their wrists in the doorways, and dangled off the ground. The corpses of the recently dead victims appeared horribly gnarled and misshapen. Blood had stained the stone floor, and was painted onto the walls. Weapons that were used to torture people were hung from the walls like trophies, and in the far corner of the room was a large tank full of acid; the final resting place of all the bodies.
Abby looked around briefly before she turned to leave. She exited the way she had come, but as she walked by the prisoners once more, she felt a hand grab her ankle. She gasped, looking down to view a small gangly creature reaching through the bars of his cell.
“Will you please help me? I don’t understand why you’re doing this to us,” his weak voice managed to say.
She kind of shook her head as she jerked away, and then ran back up the stairs.
“Is something wrong, miss?” One of the guards asked her, thinking she looked distraught.
“Um, no, everything’s fine. The man in cell nine should be the next to die, though.” She replied, her voice sounded shaky.
The guard merely nodded, “Very well, ma’am. I’ll take care of it personally.” Every guard in the castle knew who Abby was, and knew that she worked in close contact with the Darkest Faerie; they would follow her orders to the letter, unless given orders from a higher authority.
Abby nodded back out of respect, and then left.

Zuri tossed and turned for a while. It truely had been a crazy day. He had seen Abby for the first time in a long time. He had to go do a dangerous job and gather food. He was basically the erand boy, constantly working and having to do things. He was ready for some sleep. He had been sleeping mostly outside these past few weeks. May it be collapsing after a battle or going to a cave to find rest. He was happy to be able to sleep in a nice soft bed for once in such a long time. He was happy to feel the softness of the bed and the cushiness of the pillows. It felt sooo goooood. He almost immediatly fell asleep, but he tossed till he found his comfy spot and fell asleep.

Strips was enjoying his little trance, when there was a sudden loud crash sound, which caused his muscles to jolt. His head jerked in the direction of the noise, eyes returning to normal. His heart beat rapidly as he looked around frantically for the source of the noise, but could see nothing. Near as he could figure, something must have fallen over or fallen off of something; it had nearly scared the crap out of him.
He sighed as he rubbed his temples, groaning in protest. “Eh, this is retarded. I ain’t stayin’ here all night; first I was trapped in an alley for seven days, and now he wants ta lock me in a cave. Ain’t gunna happen, no way.” He tried to whisper, though it would have been more considerate of him if he hadn’t said anything at all. He just wanted to stop being forced into crowded locations; he wanted to get out into the open again. So, he stood and slowly walked around, looking in all of the cracks in the walls until he finally found one just barely big enough for him to squeeze out of. “Far well, my freaky darlings,” he whispered, before walking through the cracks and out into the openness of the Lost Desert.
“Ahh, that’s better.” His wings were weak from not being used in so long, but he managed to stretch them fully out from under his cloak, and fly away into the night sky.

((Yush, vell, I figured Strips had probably done a lot of sleeping while he was trapped in that alley, so he wouldn’t be able to sleep anymore. Also, I’m gunna add Geist and Caster, but just for the time being, so Zuri won’t be so lonely.))
Cold air stung the uni’s dark green eyes as it blasted her front side nonstop. Her long, wavy black hair, which looked much like a mane, whipped violently behind her; as did her long tail. She was half woman and half horse, which made half of her perfect for the snow and cold, and the other half sensitive to it. Her bottom half was the horse part; covered in thick brown fur, except for half way down each legs where the fur turned white and wrapped around each forked hoof like a skirt. Also, black-feathered wings, attached below each shoulder, were folded closely at her sides. Her horse half was strong and bulky, looking very similar to a Clydesdale horse; however, her human half was a fair-skinned woman looking to be in her thirties.
Slowly, step-by-step, each hoof plowed deeply into the ground, pulling her forward. Clutched tightly in her fists was a long spear, which she was using to aid her trek. The bitter cold wind penetrated even her heavy coat; it wasn’t enough to keep her vulnerable human form warm.
All-in-all, she probably would have been doing alright, if it wasn’t for the heavy metal robot she was lugging behind her. She had found Caster, a quad robot lupe, frozen in the snow while she was on her way to the rebel base. She was surprised to see him, thinking her entire family was dead. Unfortunately, he was dead, or at least, dead for a robot. He was brain dead; circuits had completely shut down and his positronic brain was frozen, as were his joints and the nanoprobes running through his body. But she couldn’t very well leave him there, so she dragged him along; rope was tied around her front like a harness, and the other end was tied to the lupe’s waist.
One more creature had come along for the journey with Geist; a small gobbler by the name of Hexe. The petpet was perched upon Geist's back, entangled in her main. She was curled into a small ball with her head tucked under one wing and buried in her feathers. She was also brown, so was hardly noticeable against Geist's fur.
She had been carrying him for two days straight. Utterly exhausted, she walked until dawn the next day, and collapsed only three feet from the metal doors.

Zuri had slept well through the night. He didn't wake up till the next morning when suddenly an alarm went off. Apparently they had found someone. Usually they go into full alert when the find someone out in the snow or else where. Espessually when they have no idea what side they are on. As the alarm went off the hussle and bussle of the place would disturb the dead. Zuri perked up and ran outside. He was putting on a jacket as he walked down the hallway. "The hells going on man?" He said as he walked on. As he came to the corridor it got much warmer. They had the fire pit going to keep some people warm. One officer came up to Zuri and said,
"Sir, we found some refugees outside this morning. They're half frozen but alright."
"Alright, let me see." Zuri walked over to where the one person was lying on the ground and a robot standing near the fire. At first Zuri didn't recognize the robot or the other neopet. Then he recongnized Caster. "Damn, its Caster. I haven't seen him in a while. I wonder who the other is. Is it one of Anna's family?" Zuri walked over and saw Geist. "It is, its uhhhh." Zuri didn't remember her name, course he didn't get to know Geist all that much do to her not being around all that much. "Alright, come on guys! Lets get these guys warmed back up!" Zuri barked out to all the others around him.

Feeling the warmth of the fire, Geist, the uni, began to perk up. She had never fully lost consciousness, though there was a minute where she couldn't tell what was going on, and didn't realize she was being moved to the inside. When someone handed her some blankets, she draped one across her lower half, and wrapped the other around her upper half. Her legs were folded under her, half laying on the floor, while the rest of her was propped against a wall.
She looked around, confused as to what was going on. Then she saw Caster laying close to the fire, and her eyes grew wide. She was amazed; it must have taken at least four strong men to drag him inside. His condition didn't look like it had improved.
As she continued looking around, her eyes met the man barking orders, but she honestly had no idea who it was. When she had met Zuri, he wasn't all big and black; he was red, and looked to be about the same as any other male. And, she was far too tied to connect with him emotionally. So, being the quiet person that she was, she didn't say anything and merely waited to be addressed.
In her silence, she reached behind her and picked her gobbler by the torso, which had been latched to her back. She coddled her in her arms, kissing the frightened petpet on top of the head.

Zuri continued to bark orders, making sure that they were getting warm. He looked at Geist as she picked up her petpet and said, "Its alright now. Your safe here. I'm not entirely sure if you for us or against us but either way your safe."
Zuri had knelt down at her side and looked at her. He knew who she was so he was able to trust her, somewhat. She didn't seem like one of the people that would join the Darkest Faerie, like Strips. But if she did than dang, something must of gotten to her. But for now it was best to keep her safe and figure out what was going on; well for her to figure out what was going on.
"We'll fill you in with whats goin on and we'll melt Caster and get him up and running again." He then walked over to Caster. There was some guy tinkering with him. "Be careful with him." Zuri said to the guy messing with Caster. The guy was one of the tech guys. He was opening cirtuit covers and such and pushing buttons.
