Strips shrugged, "Well alright, man, if you're sure. Heck, I'll take my bed back, then." He liked his bed better anyway. He didn't really like the thought of someone sleeping in his parent's room, but he trusted Abby so he didn't mind her sleeping in there. He turned from them and walked down the hallway, turning to the right into his bedroom. He made sure the door was shut tight before taking off his pants and shirt, and flopping down on his back in bed. Hey, it was his bed; he would do what he wanted. At least he still had underwear on. For the longest time he stared up at the stars on his ceiling, until he eventually fell asleep.
Guess that meant Abby was sleeping in the other bedroom again. She didn't mind, she liked it in there; Strips's parents had a really big bed that she was free to sprawl out in. She wasn't tired, so she scooted over to give Zuri more room, and kept watching TV. Cops was on now, and although it wasn't the best show in the world, she liked it.

Zuri just kinda leaned over against the arm rest. Since Abby had scooched over he wasn't gonna lay on her then. So he nessled himself in for a nice time of relaxing and watching TV. It had been a crazy past week and it was nice to not worry and lay down for a bit and watch the bube tube. Sure Cops was on, Zuri wasn't much for this show but it wasn't to bad, plus nothing else was probably on anyways.

Abby curled up against the other arm of the chair, tucking her feet under her and leaning heavy on the side of the couch. She still had her glass in her hands, even though it was empty by now. And her heach was still churning with hunger, and screaming for something more filling.
Placing one hand on her stomach, she curled her torso in. She nuzzled her head in her knees, pinned her ears back, and closed her eyes. This was actually pretty comfortable; she could fall asleep like this.

Zuri noticed Abby, he found it a bit odd. He just figured she was just sleepy. He sat back up and scootched over to Abby and sat up against her. He put his arm down her back and rubbed the top of her back a little bit. He still continued to watch TV. He turned his head and smiled at Abby who was all snuggled up, well as far as he knew. He stared at her and how cute she was. He then returned his attention back to the TV.

A small smile came over the kougress' face as a soft purr escaped her throat. She enjoyed Zuri's soft strokes down her back, and with him petting her soft fur she could most definitely fall asleep like this.
After a few minutes, she pushed herself off the arm of the couch with her elbow, which caused her to shift positions so she was now leaning on Zuri. Still smiling, she rested her head on his leg. Her tail curled around her body, and she snuggled up against Zuri.

Zuri smiled, he hugged Abby up against him. He continued to rub Abby. He petted her head and ran his hand down her side. He continued to stroke Abby ever so tenderly. "Hmmmmm." Zuri smiled, he turned his attention back to the TV while rubbing Abby. Zuri sat back on the couch and got his upper half a little more comfortable. Heck, even he was about to fall asleep like this.

Abby purred more loudly now as she felt her eyelids growing heavy. The TV didn't even interest her anymore; she was listening to it, but she didn't really know what was going on and she wasn't watching it. Laying like this gave her an idea; she sat up just enough to nudge Zuri onto his side, and then wiggled up beside him. This way they could both lay on the couch, and still stretch their legs to some extent.

"Ooof." Zuri said as he hit the egde of the couch. "Wha, what....." Zuri watched as Abby crowled up and snuggled up against him. "Ok." Zuri held Abby closer to him. "Your silly." He said as he hugged her and and started to rub her legs. He petted her head with his right arm. He was more comfortable this way. He was able to stretch out his legs a bit.

Abby turned her head just enough to look into Zuri's eyes; she flashed a toothy grin and replied, "That I am." She closed her eyes again, and continued to purr as Zuri rubbed her legs and the top of her head. Her tail now flicked toward Zuri and wrapped around his torso, making sure to keep his warm body close to her. "I love you Zuri," she whispered softly, so it was barely audible.

Zuri smiled as Abby looked at him and grinned. Then when she turned back over and said she loved him his heart raced. He had a big smile on his face and he looked down at her and kissed her head and whispered in her ear, "I love you too Abby." He then just rested his head on her's and held her close.

Hearing this made Abby smile again, even though she was half asleep by now. With those few words guiding her mind, she fell asleep in Zuri's arms. In her sleep, she wrapped one of her wings over Zuri, subconsciously wanting to keep him warm.

Zuri was now comfortable himself now. He was warm with Abby and quite tired now. It was getting kinda late and it had been a crazy day. Zuri was just drained. He turned of the TV and closed his eyes. He reached over and turned off the lamp above them and he was able to rest now. It was darker now and he was tired. As he closed his eyes he could hear Abby purring slightly. The sound of this put him to sleep. He was comfortable with Abby and in a comfortable position and was ready for bed. He was asleep and finding peace now.

Abby slept peacefully next to Zuri; she had a small smile on her face even though she wasn't dreaming, and she continued to purr well into the night. She had her ears pinned back, and her muzzled nestled under Zuri's chin.
Meanwhile in the bedroom, Strips tossed and turned, grunting in his sleep. His dreams were unpleasant again. Granted they weren't as horrific as they had been the night before, but they still disturbed him. In his dream, he heard people screaming, mostly women and child. Dead bodies fell all around him, and blood pooled onto the dusty wasteland. Seeds drank the blood and grew into plants, but like the people, they quickly died. Back in the real world, Strips growled, but still didn't wake up.
The noise Strips was making was barely audible, and wouldn't have been enough to wake someone who was out cold. Abby's bat-like ears had picked it up, but it was only enough to make one of her ears twitch, and then she couldn't hear it anymore. The noise barely registered in her mind, and hadn't woken the tired vampress up.

Zuri was out cold, it'd take someone to shake him violently or blast a siren to wake him. He was exhausted and sitting here with Abby had put him in for a full nights rest. It was nice and he was gonna sleep well. Zuri sighed as he got inself closer to Abby.

Heheh, how could Zuri get any closer? They were laying right next to each other on a small couch; the only way he could get any closer was if he laid on top of her. As the night continued and it approached early morning, Abby began getting a strange feeling in the pit of her stomach.
In her sleep, she reached for Zuri's arm and pulled it to her mouth. She licked it gently before loosely holding it in her jaws. "Bite down, you need the blood," a voice kept whispering in her mind. "Bite down or I'll do it myself," it hissed.
Abby didn't wake up, and she didn't even seem to notice that she was sucking on Zuri's wrist. "Fine," was the last thing she heard from the demonic female. The length of her fangs increased, and she bit down hard on Zuri's wrist.
