Zuri, Abby, Strips ~ Private

"Uhm, ok." After Strips left Zuri went over and put his plate in the sink and rinsed off all of the syrup and such. After that he found a rag and went over and cleaned up some of the batter. He really couldn't do anything else so why not, and it would help out Abby. Zuri stood at the door way and saw the TV was still on and watched it for a second until he went over to the sink and washed his hands.

Abby was getting out of the shower at about the same time Strips and Zuri were done eating, and Strips went back to his room, probably to sleep a little more before he had to get ready. She would have to be sure to talk to him once Zuri was in the shower.

The test had fallen back behind the toilet when she had collapsed, and she promptly grabbed it and hid it in the bottom of the trash. "It was a false test," she whispered, "It had to have been."

She got dressed as quickly as she could manage, putting on blue jeans and the Linkin' Park sweatshirt Zuri had given her, combed her hair, and brushed her teeth. Shutting off the light as she exited, she went into the kitchen to see how the waffles had faired; Zuri was still there when she got there. "Oh, hi," she almost sounded shy, but she wasn't sure what to say to him after her little freak-out

"Oh, hey." Zuri was drying off his hands when Abby came in. "Hey, your wearing the sweatshirt. Do you like it? Was it big enough and snugly?" Zuri then walked over and put the towel down and then went over to Abby. "So what happened in there? Get freaked out by some big bug?" Zuri said sarcastically. He wouldn't think that would be the case but it was all he could think of.

Abby smiled sheepishly, "Oh yes, that was it. A really big bug came out of the drain. I mean, the thing was FREAKIN' HUGE! It was, like, big, and, like, gross. It scared the piss out of me." She scowled at the recollection of Zuri and Strips barging in on her, but tried to hide it quickly by smiling. "And yes, I love the sweatshirt you bought me." She snuggled into it, crossing her arms in front of her chest and ducking her head down slightly. "S'its big and floofeh."

"Hmhm, yes. Thats good to hear. I'm happy you enjoy it. Well, are you alright and everything? You really had me worried when you started to scream and you were passed out. That really must of been a big bug if it freaked you out that much." Zuri wasn't sure if he believed it or not. Abby freaking out to a bug is possible but not so beleivable. "Ah well, I guess it was then." Zuri thought to himself. Well not much he could really do or find out.

"Yeeeaaaahh....I don't know what was up with that, really. I mean, there was the bug, and then I guess I must have hit my head on something while I was trying to get out of the shower. I'm sorry I hit you and pushed you out of the bathroom, but ya kind of startled me." She walked toward him seductively and kissed him lightly on the cheek. "But thank you, I am fine. Now you better be getting ready, you have a big day today."

Zuri's heart pounded in his chest. He got a big smile on his face, "Hmmm, your welcome Abby and yes, I should probably go get ready. I'll be in the shower." At that Zuri turned and walked for the bathroom. He stripped down and stepped into the shower. He really didn't mind the bug, if there was one. He just went along with talking his shower. He washed his hair and body and got himself all nice and sparkly clean. Though he was gonna be battling all day, all of the guys that showed up there were probably gonna be all decked out and acting like they are the best ever and were gonna be wearing shiny armor and be all clean and ready to battle, so Zuri thought he should as well, he didn't want to go there and look like some guy who just crawled out of an alley. He didn't bother to wash his clothes or anything, he would probably wear his nice clothes tomarrow or something, they were new and would probably get all torn up out in the battle arena. Zuri finished bathing and rinsed off. He turned off the water and stood there for a minute as water ran down his body. He shook his head to get any water off. He went over to the cabinent and pulled out a towel, he laid the towel across the floor and then grabbed another towel and dried off with it. He got mostly dry and then found a comb. He rinsed off the comb and cleaned it up a bit and then combed his hair. He then took a towel to it and dried it off as well, this got rid of any knots or such. He then found some mouth wash and used it. He rinsed out his mouth a few times and brushed his teeth with his finger, it was better than nothing. After that he finished drying off and got dressed again.

Abby’s vampiric hearing picked up on the sound of Zuri’s heart beating, and she smiled inwardly as she watched him leave. It absolutely amazed her what kind of power she had. All she had to do was roll her hips as she walked and slowly swish her tail back and forth, and give him a little peck on the cheek, and that was enough to get him excited.

She walked down the hallway and knocked lightly on Strips’s bedroom door, and when he didn’t answer, she opened it slowly and peered into the blackness. She entered to find him sitting atop his bed Indian-style; he had his eyes closed and acted like the didn’t realize she was there. “Strips?” she whispered.

Strips opened a single to look at Abby, “Yeah?”

“What are you doing?”

“Trying to meditate,” he replied, closing his eye again.

“Oh….How’s that going?”

“None too well, to tell you the truth. It’s…difficult.”

“Oh, well,” Abby wasn’t sure what to say. “I’m sorry to hear that. But, if you don’t mind, I wanted to talk to you about something.”

“Sure, what’s on your mind? And are you alright?”

“Yeah, I’m fine. I just wanted to ask you to be careful today.”

A smiled curled onto Strips’s face, “I’m sorry, Abby, but I can’t promise that. What will be, will be.”

Abby sighed, shaking her head.

“And when Zuri gets out of the shower, you two can go ahead without me. It’ll take me some time to get ready.”

“Okay, sure, I guess.”

Zuri was fully dressed now and ready to move along now. He was refreshed, his belly full, his mouth, body, and hair all nice and clean. He was ready to go. "Haaaaa, I needed that." Zuri thought to himself. Well off he went. He opened the door and walked out. He started to walk down the hallway when he remembered that Strips wanted him to tell him he was out and the bathroom was ready. So he turned back and walked to Strips' room. Abby was standing right there, "Uh, bathroom is open for anyone." was all Zuri said to the two of them. He didn't think he should bother them.

Strips lifted his head to look over Abby, though he could really only see Zuri's head. "Okay, thanks man. Oh, and hey! I just told Abby that you two should go ahead without me, 'cause it's a' gunna take me a while." He slowly stood from the bed and stretched, lifting his arms into the air with clenched fists.

Abby was a little disappointed Strips wasn't going to listen to her, but she hadn't really expected him to. She turned and lifted up her head to look at Zuri. "So what do you say? Want to leave now?"

"Oh I suppose we could. We'd be pretty early but ah, why not I guess. If you want to, then I'm all for it." Zuri figured that Strips was actually more into being alone at the moment so Zuri figured might as well and leave Strips to his personal time. This way he could get ready for the battle in peace and his way. May it be starting a fire in the middle the floor to just sitting around somewhere silent. "So if you want to then I'd say we should probably get going. That way we can see what its like an' all and see the arena. Plus I'm not entirely sure when you had to be there."

Strips did kind of want to be alone while he got ready. It's not that he minded Zuri's and Abby's company, he just wanted to be able to take his time and do things his way. And once Zuri and he left the house, he didn't want to face him again until they were both competing on the field of battle. Plus, Jaz was supposed to meet him there, and he didn't want Zuri and Abby around while they talked about spying on Zuri; that would have been awkward.

A small smile played on Abby's face. "Well alright then, let's go big guy." She had a sly look in her eyes as she walked around Zuri and into the hallway, and as she was walking away, the tips of her fingers brushed lightly across Zuri's behind. She knew she probably shouldn't be distracting him, but she was feeling oddly frisky, it must have been the hormones again.

Zuri had shivers go up his spine. "Yeah, I'd say she's alright." Zuri thought to himself. His heart jumped when Abby walked across him. He tried not to jump, so as to not make Strips expect anything; that would be wierd. "Uh, well see ya Strips." Zuri turned and followed Abby. He followed her into the living room. "So are you ready then? Cuz I think I got everything." Zuri picked up his sheath and looked inside of it. It had anything he'd need. It had something to drink and anything he might need during battle. "Ready when you are."

"Okay, see you there." Strips lifted up his arm with his palm facing outward, but again he didn't really wave. Now that Abby and Zuri were out of his room, he was free to get his clothes and go take a shower.

Abby turned her head slowly and looked at Zuri with a seductive smile, but that smile was quickly wiped and replaced with a half shocked gaze when all Zuri did was ask her if she was ready to go. Gosh, you brush up against someone's ass and you expect a little more than that. Maybe she didn't have as much power as she thought she did. "Yep, ready to go," she forced her voice to sound perky to hide any other emotions seeping out through her expression. Walking to the door, she opened it fully and stepped outside.

Zuri still kinda stood in place. He was kinda flustered. He jsut wanted to get out of the hallway. When he spoke it was still kinda shaky. "Uh, yeah right behind you sexy." ......"Did I just say that?" Zuri kinda stood there for a moment and walked outside. "Oh dear, here comes pain." He almost expected to get slapped. He stood there next to Abby and waited.
