Cera shrugged, "I went with you didn't I? It wasn't your fault..." She smiled at him and then sat down on one of the boxes. "We can just stay here for a while I guess...." she said and then looked around, "Till we know the police are gone at least." She said and shrugged, looking back over at Dhia again.

He nodded. "Yeah, I guess." They waited for about an hour, occasionally talking to pass the time, but mostly Dhia felt awkward. He didn't know what to say. The afternoon was waning. Dhia was beside himself that he was in the same room as an exeptionally pretty girl, with no-one else around, no distractions, and he still couldn't say anything. "I think they're gone now. We could probably go if you want, I think it's safe." He glanced tentatively out of the window, seeing an empty street. The sun was setting.

Cera was having a grand old time just talking the day away. When Dhia mentioned going back though she frowned, "Ummm, well... Yeah we can go I guess..." She said standing up and stretching. "Are you going to head back to your apartment?" She asked, worrying about where he'll end up.

He shrugged, not really wanting to leave her. "I guess... how far away is it to your house, couple of blocks, right?" Dhia smiled. "I'll walk you home."

Cera smiled probably bigger than she should when he said that, "Ok..." She said and walked over to the window, "Ha, this will be awkward... Seeing two people randomly climb out a window?" She laughed as she climbed back through and started hovering outside the glass. "Here, um, let me bring you back down..." She said and she realized how far from the ground they really were.

"Are you sure?" asked Dhia skeptically, he doubted she'd be able to carry him. "I can just climb down if you want."

Cera smiled and shook her head yes, "I brought you up here didn't I? And I'll be letting gravity do all the work." She explained, "I'll just be lowering us to the ground. It'll be fine." She said with a smile.

"...Okay." He wasn't that fond of heights. Dhia let Cera grab him under the arms and lower him safely to the ground. After regaining his footing, he smiled and asked, "Okay, which way to your house?"

Cera smiled, went over to him, and wrapped her arms around him. She lowered them carefully and then let go of him, landing gently when she was done. "Ummm," she looked around, not quite sure where she was, "This way?" She said her answer uncertain.

"You don't know where you are?" he asked, concerned. "Okay, well that street leads up to Market Street-" Dhia displayed his rather extensive knowledge of the streets and alleys of the city to Cera, not really thinking about whether he was helping or not. "...and that road leads into the highway, which will take you to Neopia Central." he finished. Glancing at Cera's even more lost expression, he said, "Uh, that didn't help at all, did it? If you know what street you live on, then I can take you there, but my place is closer, you can come in for coffee or something-" he couldn't believe he was saying this, really, he was inviting her to his apartment for coffee! "-So, you could uh, call your mom and she could pick you up or something." Dhia finished rather lamely.
You've known her for less than 24 hours. Seriously dude, not cool.
(xDD I had too much fun writing that.)

Cera scowled when he questioned her, "Well I usually don't wander around in the alleys..." She pointed out, crossing her arms. She looked at the roads Dhia pointed at and shrugged, still completely lost. She glanced back up when he mentioned his place though, a small smile appearing on her face. "Coffee?" She said giggling a bit, "Uh, sure that's fine." She said and smiled again. It was about four o'clock anyways and she really wasn't ready to go back home for the night.... Plus she wasn't to keen on leaving Dhia just yet.

He blushed a little but smiled, "C'mon, it's this way." Dhia led her down an empty road towards the 'poorer' part of Neopia Central, where the roads were more cracked and the buildings were less looked-after. There were a few broken bottles on the streets and the occasional litter - the almost-silence was broken by a dog barking a few blocks away. He led her into the bottom floor of the apartment block, checked his mail amusedly, before leading the way up the stairs to his home. When they arrived at his front door, he unlocked the door but paused. "Listen, could you wait right here for a sec?" Dhia asked sheepishly, on sudden realisation of the mess that was inside. He let himself in but left the door ajar, bolting in to pick up various items and toss them in the recycle, picking up junk and throwing them hurriedly in the spare room.
(this could be my last post for about a week, I'm going on holiday with my friends down south, and I don't think they've got the net. I'm really sorry!)

((kk :] ))
Cera giggle slightly as Dhia disappeared inside. After a few minutes of listening to Dhia scramble around inside she pushed the door slightly and peeked in, "You don't have to clean up for me, ya know." She said smiling and pushing the door open more, "I'm not royalty or anything special." She laughed and walked in. His apartment wasn't that bad, yeah there were some clothes here and there but other than that it was fine. She smiled shyly as the turned her gaze to Dhia, "So.... Coffee?"

(well, I'm back. I got back yesterday but my internet hasn't been working [as usual], sorry I took so long. :3 )
He blushed. "Well you might not be royalty..." his voice trailed away as he realised what he'd said. "So - Coffee," Dhia said quickly, dashing into the kitchen and rummaging around for mugs - most of them were chipped. "How do you like yours?"
Two mugs were on the wooden coffee table - one was the cleanest, un-chipped, prettiest mug he could find, and the other was his and rather ordinary. Both of them were steaming with hot coffee. Dhia sat on one of the lounges comfortably and invited Cera to sit down. The apartment wasn't anything special, most of the furniture was bought very cheaply (the second-hand lounges, most of the lamps, the small tv,) or stuff Dhiablos had made himself (the small wooden coffee table, the brick-and-planks-of-wood bookcase). The small, slightly wilted flowers in a worn vase on the coffee table reflected his mood - anxiety. Anxious to keep talking to Cera and watch her; Anxious that she'd have to go home eventually. He smiled slightly. "So... we can watch TV or something, or you can call Sarah if you like. You're welcome to stay as long as you want."

Cera set her mug on the table, it was still a bit too hot to drink. She then smiled over at Dhia and plopped down next to him, giggling as she did so. "Eh, I don't want to call Sarah..." She grumbled, "Just yet." She added, figuring she would have to go home eventually. "Lets watch tv." She said with a smile, "Do you have any good movies?" She asked walking over to the small tv and looking through the movies piled on the floor.
