Cera followed close behind him, her mind had started speeding the second he grabbed her hand. She looked around as soon as they reached the top and spotted the chairs with a huge smile. She glanced over at Dhia and squeezed his hand slightly, leading him over to the chairs. The sky was so clear tonight, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. And the city was far away enough so that the light from the buildings and cars didn't interfere with the small glow of the stars....

"I come out here sometimes to think," said Dhia quietly, as he reclined on the dusty chair (he gave the clean one to Cera) and Cera did the same. "I don't really know many of the constellations, just a few. If you're lucky you can see shooting stars, but usually you have to go way out in the country to see those."
Crickets chirped quietly in the early morning, further away the rumble of cars in the city could be heard faintly. It was rather cool. "Are you cold? I can go and get my jacket from inside if you want," he asked, looking at her and smiling.

Cera stared up at the stars for a while, listening to all the surroundings including Dhia, "Huh? Um, no I'm fine right now..." She said not really wanting him to leave to go inside without her. They just sat down... "I don't know much about the stars either." She said and then pointed to a row of three stars, "All I know is that's Orion's belt." She said rather proudly. She leaned back into her seat again and continued to gaze up at the stars, hoping to see one shoot across the sky.

Dhiablos nodded as she pointed in the complete opposite direction to Orion's belt, smiling to himself. "I think that's The Dreamer," He pointed.

Cera looked up at it with a focused expression, "Well Lue pointed it out to me before..." She then shrugged, "Oh well.... I don't see how they find pictures in the sta-" Her phone went off again and the loud vibration/ringer broke the peaceful silence. She dug in her pocket for her phone and pulled it out quickly, flipping it open at the same time. "Hello?" She said though she already knew who it was. An annoyed screaming came from the other side. "Where are you?!?! Why didn't you call me earlier?!?! You've had me up all night!" Sarah yelled. Cera took the phone away from her ear to keep herself from becoming deaf. She gave Dhia a 'I'm sorry but can you help me' look and continued to listen to Sarah's speech about responsibility.

"Uhhh..." Dhia's mind was racing, and he did the first thing that came to mind - he put on the girliest, high-pitched voice he could muster and said:
"Uhh, Cera, I found the remote! I'll get the popcorn and then we can watch the DVD..,"
It was strange and somewhat squeaky. Dhia hoped that it would sound somewhat feminine through the distortion of the mobile phone. "uhhh..... here, I think you should try this.. uhh... eyeshadow because, uh... it'll bring out your uh.. eyes."

Cera looked up at him with a blank stare and then tried hard not to burst into a fit of laughter. "Thanks, Diann." She said with a huge smile, still trying to hold the tears back, "Sorry, I told you my phone turned off... I didn't mean to not call you but I haven't seen, uh, Diann in so long. We were just so caught up in everything. We went bowling and now we are about to watch The Notebook. I'll be back by tomorrow." She explained and then listened to Sarah's quieter complaints from the other side, "Yeah I love you too... Mmmmk, I will. Yeah we might get back together some other time." She said, "Ummhm.... ok, bye." She said and close the phone before laughing her head off. "That was great!" She said inbetween giggles.

"Yeah, fantastic...." Dhia blushed deeply. "Is everything okay? I hope I didn't get you in trouble."
He leant back on the deck chair, still smiling. "So who's Lue?" he asked, internally hoping he wasn't a boyfriend.

"Na na, everything's fine." Cera said as she recovered. "And Lue's like my brother or something... He's not really related to me but we live in the same house. I have four others that live with me too, not including Sarah." She explained as she counted everyone off with her fingers, "There's Lue, Rasi, Azura and Dre." She said with a smile, "Do you have any family or anything?" She asked, figuring no one lived with him.

"I used to have an owner... but not really, no. I guess I sorta do, it's not like I visit them or anything. See I got this new owner - ultra - but I don't really visit her or anything. She doesn't mind. It's a good relationship." He grinned. "I think I've got siblings - not blood-related, of course - but ultra keeps adopting pets so I think I have about seven siblings."
"Occasionally we have parties and stuff, so everyone comes over and it's really crazy. I should take you sometime."
To be honest, he really couldn't remember anything before his first owner. Dhia guessed he'd had a real family, with a mother, a father and a golden retriever, but for the life of him he couldn't remember. He pushed it to the back of his mind.

Cera laughed, "Yeah parties are always fun... I'm sure you'll meet my family too." She said and thought about it. He would if they continued seeing each other as friends or whatever..... She had just met the kid and had already spent the night at his house. Sarah would be so pissed if she found out about that... She would figure out something though. "So ummm, Sarah wants be back by ten." She said and frowned, "And it is getting a bit nippy out here." She pointed out and crossed her arms across her chest.

"Well, we can go back inside if you like. I'll sleep on the couch." Dhia stood up and brushed the dust off his jeans. "I'll walk you home in the morning if you want." He smiled in the dark to her. "C'mon."
Dhia led her back down the stairs to his apartment.

Cera smiled and was tempted to take his hand as they started walking back towards the stairs but didn't. She rubbed her eyes and yawned, "Eh, it doesn't matter where w-I sleep..." She said and smiled again, "The couch was quite comfortable earlier..." She said and bit her bottom lip as she smile bigger.

They were standing in the lounge room. "Are you sure? I don't know if my bed's any comfier than the couch but I really don't mind either way." Dhia smiled.
"Well, uh..." What should I do now? "..." Should I hug her or something? "..goodnight, Cera." I really want to... He smiled a little awkwardly, hating himself.

Cera's smile faded, that's not really what she had in mind. "Ummmm, ok." She said and smiled again. "So uh, goodnight?" She said and twiddled her thumbs as she took a seat on the couch.
