Rasi was expecting a giggle or something but he figured she was too tired. He wrapped an arm around her waist and rested his head on the other, smiling to himself. He was soon out cold, a lot more comfortable up in the attic where is was cooler...

She didn't fall asleep right away. It wasn't too cold, really. Up here the wind sounded even more like a wolf howling or something. She wished she could wake up and get her memories back. More importantly, she was afraid she'd fall asleep and wake up blind again. That was not something she wanted happening. But in the end sleep won her over.

Sunlight stretched it's way inside, it seemed to reach for the couple that lie on the mattress. It caught the eyes of Rasi who moved his head away from the blinding light only to open his eyes and find his face right in front of Vi's. He held his breath and slid away, slipping off of the mattress and onto the floor. Rasi smiled as admired his sneaky skills and got up, opening the door in the floor and walking downstairs to see a grumpy Taelia looking in the fridge.

Vi slept on even after Rasi left. She had been having a dream... and it was not fun.
"Quit acting like you know all."
Vi turned. "Who's there?"
"It's me, your memory. Are you sure you want me back?"
She nodded. "Of course I do!"
"I'm not very pleasant. You've never really liked me all that much."
"Wha...?"
The person stepped from the shadows. It was a mirror reflection of Vi, only she did things Vi didn't. And she multiplied, surrounding Vi in a circle of people that looked just like her. All had different looks on their faces- some were sad and innocent, others greedy and decieving.

Taelia looked up from the fridge, "I said you could help yourselves but I really didn't think you were going to raid my cold box!" She said sighing and pulling out the milk.
Rasi blinked, still not one hundred percent awake, "Ummm yeah sorry about that..." He said sleepily, "Where is the bathroom?" He asked, wanting to take a shower. Showers usually woke him up and right now he definitely need an awakening.

"You're a pirate, Vinetaa," the first one said. "It's not just the paintjob, either. You were born a pirate through and through. A pirate's life is a short one, always." It smirked. "Let us remember, shall we?" It walked toward her and held up a palm. Vi held up hers and they touched. A bright white light flew from their hands and filled Vi's eyes. Before she knew it, she was in a darkened abyss, all alone.

Rasi finished his shower and walked back out of the bathroom, dressed and everything, drying his hair. Taelia was busy eating cereal and reading the newspaper, laughing at some comics she was reading. Rasi glanced out the window to see it covered in snow, and made his way upstairs back to Vi.

Now she began to sweat as she dreamt of standing in the abyss. Voices flew in all around.
"You're nothing useful."
"You fiend... I will murder you, you hear me?!"
"I thought we were friends!"
"The only reason you're still alive is because we are friends."
An arrow flew into the small of her back. She turned to see Rasi with a bow in hand. "Wha..?" she started.
"You thought you meant something to me, didn't you?" He laughed coldly. "Please. I don't hang around liars."

Rasi opened the door and saw Vi, she had cold sweat all over her face. He used the towel that was still in his hands and dabbed her face, "Vi?" He said worried, "Vi. Wake up..." He said shaking her slightly. It was just a habit of looking around for his 'sister' Dre when there was a bad dream but he didn't see her. He looked back down at Vi, frowning...

She was crowded around by millions of voices, all cramming into her brain. She clutched her ears in her hands. One voice pulsed louder than the rest in her head.
"You..."
She staggered backwards.
"...filthy..."
She sank to her knees on the floor.
"...pirate."
The word pulsed through her brain, cutting sharply through her eardrums. She yelled out.
"Hey, Vi, what bleeds blood red as its flesh when cut, and yet it's heart is made of stone?"
"How should I know? You're the smart one."
"Think about it. A heart of stone. Could it be some sort of ... ?"
"What?"
"And red inside and out?"
"....Oh."
She kept her eyes closed, but she was half awake. She felt Rasi shaking her. "A cherry," she told him subconsciously. "It's a cherry. Just don't shoot me again."
((When she yelled earlier, she didn't really yell out loud.))

Rasi didn't understand what she was saying," What the hell are you talking about?" He asked confused about the cherry and the shooting part. "Don't worry I think Taelia has some cherries and I don't carry weapons..." He said hoping that would help her panicking.

Dream-Rasi, however, was aiming another arrow at her. He shot them one after one and she was pinned against the wall, an arrow through each hand. She looked at him quizzacly.
"Why are you doing this..." she asked.
"Don't play stupid," he said, aiming another arrow, this one at her heart. "Nobody wants to deal with people like you. Nobody wants to deal with pirates." With that, he loosed the arrow.
"It's a cherry," she screamed, "A stupid, stupid cherry!" Her eyes opened and she sat up straight, bashing her forehead into someone else's. She blinked and fell back down on her back, then looked around, rubbing her head.

Rasi fell back, he hadn't expected her to jump up like that, "Ok, Ok I get it..." He said rubbing his head as well, "It's a cherry..." He didn't know what the cherry was but if it would settle Vi down then he would pretend he agreed... He got up and sat next to Vi on the mattress, "Are you ok??" He asked worried again. It was definitely a bad dream but a weird on at that, who would dream about cherries?

She looked at Rasi. Seeing he had no bow, she sighed in relief. "Thank goodness," she muttered. She looked back up at Rasi. "The riddle. The answer, it's a cherry. A cherry's red inside and out, and the 'heart of stone' is the pit."

Rasi thought about it for a moment and smiled, "That'll be easy to get, just a quick trip to the store." He said extending a hand to help her up. "You didn't have to scream about it though..." He said finding that part a little strange, he didn't know if she was having a nightmare about evil cherries or what but her yelling was a little odd...
