((Ok *thinks of how to start*))
A young, about twenty years old, bori leaned again a tree, the snow blowing around him. He was a all grey except for his dark green hair and halfway down his arms and legs, they were white. He was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jean pants, things that were usually not worn in this type of weather. He also had a pair of snow goggles strapped around his head, keeping his hair out of his ice blue eyes. The bori got up and pulling a hiking backpack up with him. His name was Curasi, Rasi for short, and he had absolutely no clue where he was. He was out hiking through the mountains but then he ran out of flags to mark his path. He figured that he would just finish his hike and retrace his footsteps but that never happened. Rasi looked around, getting out a compass from his pocket, and started to head east, knowing that the ocean would hopefully come into view soon.

((You always make your pets too old for mine. Mine are all teenage girls. Cera's your only teenager, I think, and she's a girl, too. I'm gonna put this in first person.)) My ship was a fierce one. None stood in its way. It was the fastest and strongest ship in all the seas. My crew ran about, yelling and taking orders. Ahh, who am I kidding? A rowboat is not much of a ship and the only crew member aboard is the captain. The captain without a crew. That was my name - Captain Vinetaa, the pirate Shoyru without a crew. It was pathetic. My boat was roaming the seas up past Shenkuu. I could see ice up ahead. The waters were cold. I leaned over the edge and put my hand in the water, pulling it out in the form of a small stream. It collapsed into the form of a ball when I held my palm upright.

((sooooo sorry... gosh the most they could be apart is 7 years and I doubt your pets are 13 years old... they don't have to be a perfect age match xDDD))
Ah, there it was, the ocean. Rasi folded up his compass and stuffed it back into his jean pocket, now eyeing the vast blue field instead of the arrow on his compass. He could smell the ocean too, the gentle wind carried the salty smell of the sea through the snow. Despite the freezing cold weather, Rasi looked pretty comfortable. He was only wearing a t-shirt too... More of the ocean came into view and Rasi was not running toward it, he had been lost for about a day now and he really just wanted to get to civilization now...

((Well, something close would be nice. My pets are minors. If they dated someone over 18, that'd be weird. She's 5 years younger than he is. Even though my mom is 9.5 years younger than my dad, they're older so it doesn't matter too much. )) I focused on the waterball, trying to freeze it into ice. It was so cold even the water would no doubt be ice if I sailed any farther north. I wanted to make snow and ice so bad. I knew I could only make snow if it was raining, and water not falling would turn to ice, but I just couldn't do it. Instead, the waterball trembled, and broke apart in my hands. In my frustration, I yelled an, "Ugh!!", muffled slightly by my teeth, which I clenched together. The waves grew stronger and tossed the boat aside. It drew me close to an iceberg. I tried to calm the ocean, but it wouldn't listen. Figures. Pirates like me knew the sea was wild and untamable. It threw my boat against the iceberg. I yelled out, and the boat smashed into broken driftwood and I was thrown against the cold, hard rock. My head hit hard, and the pain receded as I fell into the ocean and my eyes closed. I was unconsious as I floated, luckily, towards land of some sort, but I'd die of hypothermia if I didn't get out soon. ((Rasi can see her body floating. He can save her! ^_^))

((fine he can be 18 but he doesn't know a lot about his powers yet ^^))
Rasi continued to run toward the shoreline, his visible breath becoming harder. He slowed down though when he noticed something unnatural about the icy blue waters that lay ahead of him. He started sprinting again, as hard as he could, he had seen a body floating in the water and prayed it wasn't too late. He made it to the water's edge, dropping his hiking gear and splashing though the waves. She wasn't too far from the beach, he grabbed her around her waist and started heading back toward the shore.
She was still breathing, that was good but her breaths were quick and short. Rasi laid her down on the sand and grabbed his pack, unzipping it and pulling out a big blanket. He turned back to her and carefully wrapped it around her cold body. "Can you hear me?" He asked hoping the cold hadn't gotten to her yet.

I felt someone pull me out of the water. I could hear a voice, but it was fuzzy and muffled in my mind. I couldn't open my eyes. In my moment of slight awareness, I managed to tilt my head a small bit and made a small "umph.." sound without moving my mouth before I was out cold again.
((How about, when she wakes up, she finds the cold has robbed her of her ability to see, but soon they meet up with this freaky character (leave that to me ^^) who tells them of a way to get her sight back??))

(( ok...)) Rasi gave out a sigh of relief, she was alive. He looked around not really seeing much but he did spy a small abandon fish house or something not too far away. He looked down at the girl, noticing the millions of bracelets and other jewelry on her. She was very pretty, that was for sure but he couldn't really make out what she was or why she was all the way up here. Rasi gently slid his arms under her and picked her up, he had to get her out of this weather if he wanted her to live.

((First thing on the top of my head. ^_^ Besides, it's been known to happen — cold destroying one of your senses, usually sight or hearing. It's often permanent, but can be temporary. And it'll make a good sort of plot-ish thing. ^_^))
I was lifted, and carried bridal style. I could feel the biting cold of a harsh wind hitting my wet face, and I groaned quietly. The wind died down, but it didn't make me warmer.
((Heh, I didn't think anyone actually READ the charrie descriptions.. millions of glittery bracelets! ;D))

Rasi kicked open the iced door of the shack, there was indeed a few frozen fish inside. Rasi set her down on the floor and threw out some of the fist to give them more room, finding firewood outside as he did. He built a small fire in the middle and started digging in his pack for his lighter, hoping that the sooner he got her warmed up the less damage the cold would cause her. Soon he had a pretty good fire and a very warm shack. He had thrown out all of the fish for the smell was starting to become unbearable.

Mmmm, warmth. I was back at home, sitting in front of the fireplace with Mom, listening to her yak on about how cool pirates were. I opened my eyes a little bit. Everything was dark and blurry, but I could still make out some outlines. I turned my head towards a dark figure coming through the door. The place reeked of fish. I looked back at the fire. Oddly enough, it wasn't very bright. It seemed dimmed. I smiled at that. A dimmed fire. How strange this dream was. I closed my eyes again and, whether I fell into sleep or unconsciousness again, I didn't know.

Rasi had walked back in just enough to see the girl's eyes, they seemed far off as if she wasn't focusing or blind. He had heard the the cold could cause permanent blindness... She was smiling though which was good, he didn't know how she could be smiling in a place that the smelled like fish but maybe she was just happy to be alive. "Are you up?" he asked, longing for a conversation with this stranger.

Apparently I fell into neither, because I opened my eyes again, fully this time, and looked at the person who'd spoken. "Ummmm... I guess," I answered. "I'm a little lightheaded right now, but I think I'll feel better after some sleep." I paused, scanning my surroundings as best I could. Everything was so dark. I looked back at the person. "Who are you?" I asked.
((Oh, oh!! Loss of sight and memory! ^_^ I love this rp!! ;D lol))

Something definitely was wrong with her eyes, she was squinting and even then they weren't focusing right. "My name is Rasi." He said looking over the fire at her. "I found you in the water, why are you all the way up here?" He asked, that question had been bothering him ever since he laid his eyes on her.
((Oooooo mucho simpático ^^))

"Hmmm, I'm not sure," she mumbled, sleep threatening to overtake her again. Her eyelids drooped wearily. ((simp what itco? ))

((very fun xDDDD))
Rasi nodded, "You should get to sleep, don't worry I look after you." He said reassuringly The fire was going pretty strong, the only thing keeping it from burning the shack down was bursts of cold air Rasi was giving it. He might take a little nap too, it was very comfortable, no he couldn't he had to make sure the girl continued to breath and the fire stay under control... He sighed, this was going to be a long night...
