"I had to do... erm, something," she said vaguely, "and I was half asleep. Then I kicked this stupid tree and got attacked..." She kicked the tree again, knowing there shouldn't be much snow left on it, but she'd actually kicked a different tree, and was 'attacked' once more. "Gahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!"

Rasi waved a hand and all the snow lifted off of her and flew to the side, "Come on, lets stop with the tree kicking..." He said slightly annoyed. He took her hand and lead her back to the ice dome, "Hold on I left my pack here, let me get it and then we'll head out again." He said and climbed back in, throwing the pack out before he reappeared on the outside of the dome. "Ready?" He asked, smiling.

"As I'll ever be, I guess," she said, bored. "Let's just hurry up and find the treasure so I can get off this frozen wasteland as soon as possible." She was unaware of the bite in her tone, because it seemed natural, sort of. All she could wrap her mind around now was get the treasure and leave. If it meant leaving Rasi stranded, so be it. He had snazzy snow powers. It wasn't like he was helpless.

Rasi's smiled faded, "Fine..." he said not liking the fact that his home had just been called a wasteland. He picked up his backpack and started walking again, not saying any more. She was really starting to get on his nerves with just about everything she was doing. Ever since she got her eyesight back, she started acting differently... The silence grew between them as they exited the forest and came upon rocky grounds, close to the base of the mountain.

"Where to now?" she asked, looking around curiously. Something about her earlier fall was making her head feel funny. I probably hit it, or something, she figured. She sighed. Snow, as much as she wanted it to be, was not her thing. She didn't belong in it, and she knew that. How many times do you see a snow-capped ocean? Or a tropical island that's just bursting with snow? She clenched her fists together, then relaxed them. This was really hard.

Rasi looked over at her and back up at the mountain, "Up..." He said, dropping his bag and pulling out some rope and climbing equipment. He only had enough for one person but he figured that Vi could just fly up there... He wasn't going to risk doing anything with his powers because to tell the truth he wasn't the best at controlling them... "You can just fly straight up till you find a cave and wait there for me or you can fly besides me as I climb, whatever works..." He said plainly, getting ready to start.

((Okay. I feel we should at least finish this, so we know why exactly Rasi's pissed at Vi in the big one, so I'll speed it up a little at the very least.))
They traveled in silence for several hours. Finally Vi stopped in her tracks to look at Rasi and say, "I'm sorry. For being an ass earlier. I don't know what got into me." Yes you do. The pirate Vi, the REAL Vi, got into you, said her annoying conscious. "I still love you. I was just pissed, and eager to get to the treasure. I guess pirate Vi acted up a little bit there. That's all."

Rasi looked at her, she loved him...? He was kinda shocked that she actually said it, he figured her to be a shy type with that kind of stuff.... "That, uh, ok I guess... We better rest here tonight though... There aren't any more suitable rest stops after this..." He said looking up the mountain at the rest of the remaining journey. He sighed, gave Vi a weak smile, and put his pack down.

((hey rasi *pokes bottom of page 22, top 23* check it, dude ^_^))
"That'd be nice," said Vi with a yawn. She closed her eyes and fell backward into the snow playfully, sighing, but not sadly. "See you in the morning, Rasi."

((ga, sorry... haven't done this rp in a while...))
Rasi nodded and got the blanket out of his pack, "You want this?" He asked figuring she would. It was colder up on the mountain, well he was told that. Of course he didn't feel cold.... He sat down and looked down at the snow, not quite sure what to say to Vi. Yeah she said she was sorry but he couldn't help but feeling that she had changed. Ever since she got her eyesight back and when he mentioned this cave... He wished he hadn't but he did want her to stick around longer...

"Ya, thanks," she said, taking it. She slipped the pill from her pocket to her mouth as the blanket covered it. She then dug through the pack, pulled out a small bottle of cranberry juice, and took a swig, spitting the pill into it without notice. It dissolved immediately in the juice and settled inside. Then she passed it to him. "Eh, you look thirsty. I know I am."
((So sad! This is where the betrayal comes in. He needs to drink it and pass out, since the pill was a sleeping drug she'd found in a little pouch back at Taelia's and had slipped it into her pocket until now when it's, like, in the drink.))

Rasi smiled and slid over beside her, taking the drink, "Thanks, I am..." He said taking a huge gulp of it. He handed it back to her, still half full, and laid back on the snow, "Have you, um, gained anymore memory back?" he asked, still slightly awake ((not for long xDDD)) and pretty bored. He hoped she wasn't mad at him about him being pissed off earlier, she did make him pretty mad though but that's what he gets for falling in love with a pirate. He would have to love the good things and the bad things about her...

Right before he passed out, she looked at him and said, "Sorry I had to do this, Ras, but you're holding me back." ((ouch.)) When he did pass out a second later, she stood up, bundled up even more, spread her wings out and flew higher up the mountain. She knew the brand of sleeping drug she'd given him, and knew it would only last for twelve hours, but she made it to a cave high up in less than five minutes. She ventured inside, the ankleblade she'd kept sheathed this entire time out in her hand.
Things happened fast after that. Vi left the cave within the hour, having found only a large snow beast that looked really hungry while it was chasing her outside ((xDDD)) and Rasi right where she left him. She took the time to search him for any sort of rare gems or items, not expecting to find much. When she was convinced he had nothing of value on his person, she took his sack and flew down the mountain, only then realizing how high they'd actually been up. She stopped by Taelia's on the way down. The faerie was gone, so she broke in through the icy window and stole all the alcohol the faerie had and as much money and gems she could fit in the sack and still fly. There was also a gun and several bullets she found locked in a drawer that she broke. She took them.
As soon as she reached Happy Valley, she walked into a boat shop. Keeping the loaded gun and the smirk on her face out at all times, she stole a really nice boat, one with an engine, and made her way down the icy waters to get in. As she was motoring away, she shot the gun just for the hell of it, and an uproar emerged in the usually quiet village. With a snicker, she steered the boat out of the Terror Mountain region completely and made port at Shenkuu, big merchant town, to trade her stolen goods for a real ship--though she had to protest against a flying one--and began her trip to Krawk Island to assemble a crew of some sort, seeing as she planned to dump all these Shen sailors overboard when she got real pirates under her command.
Still... as she watched the sailors work the ship, she couldn't help but feel a little bad for Rasi, who should be waking up any time now. But she quickly shrugged it off. Like Will, men came and went, and all they were good for was company until they grew boring and abandon-worthy.
And yet, she still felt that neither Rasi nor Will deserved what they'd gotten out of her. Kisses and declarations of love, and then thievery and left for dead. She was bad, she knew. But it was who she was.

Rasi found himself covered in snow, he uncovered himself and looked around for a pile of snow that Vi would be under but saw none. Actually he didn't see anything that suggested that Vi was here, his pack was gone, there were no foot prints or anything. "Did she got to the cave without me?" He thought out loud looking up the mountain. She had taken his climbing gear when she took his pack so there was no way he would make it up there... "VI!" He called out, his voice echoing off the sides. "VI!!!?" He called out again only to hear his own voice respond. He looked around, confused; the snow had covered up anything that might suggest where she went and -- "Sorry I had to do this, Ras, but you're holding me back." Why had she said that... He didn't understand it when she had first said it and he felt awfully tired when she did for some reason....
He sat back down, feeling something under him. He felt around in the snow and found the bottle of juice ((dun dun dun)). He hadn't felt tired till he drank some of this... Things were starting to fall in place... Holding me back... She had left him... The reality hit him like a ton of bricks. That same night she said that she still loved him... Anger started building up in him; all the snow around him flew up, turned solid and went flying off the side of the mountain.
An hour passed, Rasi was still stuck on the edge of the mountain, not having the gear he needed to get off. He had concluded that she had poisoned him and left him for dead. He couldn't believe that that bitch left him after all he did for her. She didn't do one thing for her and he had saved her life, helped her her sight back and had taken her this far to go find this cave. He crawled to the edge of the cliff, looking down the 20 yard to the ground. He could jump... He doubted anyone would miss him that much, he had just lost his job here and his family back down in Neopia knew he probably wouldn't come back down...
Another hour passed, he couldn't do that hovering snow thing because he had thrown off all the snow earlier... It was finally snowing again though. He started collecting all the snow until he finally had enough to make it off the mountain. He hovered down, unsteadily, he was hungry and it was effecting him dramatically... He still had a huge hike to go just to get to the snow faerie's house.... He might as well try though.
Rasi arrived at the house, about to collapse; Taelia met him at the door with a look of outrage on her face. "What you planned on taking everything and coming back for more?" she screamed, slamming the door in his face. Rasi was too tired to argue with her and laid down against the house, falling asleep instantly. He woke up a few hours later inside the house to the smell of hot soup. He sat up, Tarlia smiled warmly, "Sorry... I knew it was that girl of yours I was just so mad about everything that I took it out on the first person I saw, you..." She said handing him a bowl. Vi was here? What did she do? He looked around and saw the place a mess, snowglobes lay broken on the floor in what looked like a hurried exit by someone. Items lay scattered on the floor as if someone was looking for something. "What happened?" He asked confused again. "Nothing, just eat and lets get you out of here..." She said and handed him a spoon.
Rasi waved goodbye to the faeire and left for Happy Town, needing to get there so that he could catch a ship back to Neopia. He arrived there a couple hours later with a just enough neopoints from the Taelia to grab a cheap trip home. He wanted nothing to do with Vi now, he never wanted to see her, he never wanted to hear her name... He was done...
