She was glad she was doing a sort of good thing for somebody, but confused as to why she hadn't just shrugged off the Bori's question and continued to play cards. Had she met this girl before? Something told her she did, but she didn't know where the feeling came from. "Not to pry," she said slowly, "but do you, by any chance, have wings?" |

Cera continued to follow the girl, wondering if the inn was near by so she wouldn't feel so weird about this stranger carring her stuff for her. It was very nice, yes, just unusual to her. She looked up at the girl's question, "Ummm, yeah." She said and moved the black protective covering to the side to show a pink translusent pair of wings underneithe. "I'm a faerie bori, just pink instead of blue..." She said shyly, she liked her color but it made her stand out more and Cera wasn't the type to want alot of attention. "Why do you ask?" She asked the girl, still looking up at her.

"Because, I met a pink fairy Bori once," Arathyne said slowly. "On Krawk Island. Timid little thing, she was. That was when we brought back home my pirate... sister... from her lodging at Mom's friend's house." She said 'sister' like it was a curse word. She hesitated, then changed the subject. "The inn's not to far from here."

Cera looked up at her confused when she said that she had seen someone like herself but then nodded, "I thought I recognized you from somewhere!!" She said smiling and laughing. She looked back ahead of her when she mentioned the inn but ignored it, "You were drunk and you let me stay at your house and yeah, that was me!" She said glad that she finally finally figured out who this person was.

Arathyne froze in her tracks. A hot blush suddenly rushed to her cheeks, which looked odd on a light brown face. "T-That was you?" She felt humiliated for what seemed like no reason at all, but she was also a bit embarrassed because she had made a point to put that memory of her drunkeness and the punishment that followed after far in the back of her brain. "I.. forget your name."

Cera had kept walking but stopped once she relised that the other girl had too, "Yeah! I had went to Krawk Island for a visit and got lost because I bought a map off a pirate and it wasn't even of Krawk Island..." She said her voice growing quieter as she admitted her stupidness back then. "I.. forget your name." the girl said sheepishly, she looked back up with a smile, "That's ok I kinda forgot yous too, I'm Cera." She said still smiling and holding out a hand.

"Arathyne." She shook Cera's hand and dropped it quickly. "I, erm, got a paintjob. I was green, now I'm a fairy." Her wings fluttered slightly. "All my sibs are painted, too. Roni's royal and Trei's ghost." She turned a corner and there was the inn. "I know the owner here... I'll make sure you get in cheap and not a cruddy room."
She waltzed inside, and after some persuading and a bit of bribery, got the island Acara that owned the inn to give her a key, which she tossed to Cera. "Your room's up here," she said, nodding toward the stairs. "C'mon."

Cera nodded remembering the four or so siblings that she had met during their last encounter. "I have a ghost sister, but she doesn't talk much..." She said, starting to think about everyone at home, "She is always busy too, so yeah I don't see her much." She continued but doubted that Arathyne really cared. She smiled and accepted the key and then followed Ara, "Thanks, you really didn't have to do all of this." She said happy that she wasn't getting ripped of for the millionth time.

"Nah, it's fine," she said, waving it off. "I need to be nicer to people, so says everybody I know." She scowled, but only for a moment. "Here's your room."
It was furnished with a double bed, two nightstands on each side; a desk with a lamp, a pen and a stack of papers on it; a counter that separated the "bedroom" from the "kitchen", which was complete with a refrigerator full of island food, a sink, and a stove; and a bathroom hidden by a closed door. The window was open, revealing the ocean.
"You like it? It's the best I could get for hardly anything..." Arathyne put the suitcase on the counter.

Cera didn't argue about that and just nodded. She about died when she saw the room though, "Wow!! I wasn't expecting anything like this!" She exclaimed and collapsed on the bed, "Thanks a bunch!" She said propping herself up on her forearms and looking back at Ara.

"No problem," she said with half a smile. "And it's all paid for up to ten days." She pulled the suitcase off the counter and frowned. "What's in here, anyways?" She looked at it. "Wait, am I crazy, or was this totally broken when I picked it up and brought you here?"

Cera laughed and got up off of the bed, "My life..." She said and pulled out an iPod out of the side pocket, she looked up at Ara and back at the suitcase, "Yeah it was... the wheel popped off at the first dock I went to... that's weird...." She said just staring at the bag now, wondering if it was about to move or something next.

Cera kept staring at the suitcase, still waiting for it to do something, "Ummm, yeah, it is an old suitcase and now it looks bran new..." She said backing away from it and looking around to make sure that it really was her suitcase.
