The ride was bumpy and the morning traffic had already started too, so she was glad they had gotten a head start. They were getting close though because Cera could see the airplanes zoom over them. "You know..." She said, looking at Dhiablos, "This is gonna be fun, i have never flown in a airplane before I have always just flown there myself..." Cera finished smiling, her heart racing with excitment.

"That'd be a long way to fly wouldn't it?" Dhia put his hand in his jeans pocket, and brought out two plane tickets. He handed Cera hers. "I got seats next to each other for us. You've got the window seat." he smiled. He'd always loved the window seat, but he got it for Cera. "And don't lose that ticket." Dhiablos laughed as the taxi went over another bump in the road. |

"Well I take rest stops..." she said in a 'you should have known that' way. She took the ticket and stuffed in her pocket. "Thanks, I didn't want to sit by a fat guy or someone like that!" she said smiling. The taxi stopped and the driver helped them with their bags in exchange for neopoints. They passed through the metal detectors, handed in their tickets and in no time they were on the plane.

Dhiablos put their bags in a compartment above their seats and sat down. He put on his seatbelt as the plane prepared to take off.
"I hope you like the view, I don't know if you've ever flown this high before." he said to Cera.

"Probally not!" she said opening her window and growing even more excited as the plane sped down the runway. The next thing she knew they were up in the air and gaining elevation. She looked over at Dhiablos, "How are your ears??" she asked, she was used to it from flying but she wasn't so sure about Dhia, "I have some gum if you need it..." she said reaching for her pink purse.

"relax, relax Cera." he said, yawning. "I'm fine, I used to go places with my parents when I was little."
Before long they were flying over the ocean.
A stewardess in a blue uniform came down and asked if they needed anything.
"Uh, I'm fine thanks." Dhiablos said to the Xweetok in uniform. "What about you Cera, do you want a drink or anything?"

"Ummmm, no thank you..." The plane flight was now becoming boring. She sighed and looked at Dhiablos, "This isn't as fun as I thought it would be..." she said shrugging. She looked back out the window, they were over the ocean somewhere. The speaker over head sounded, "We are approaching an area where there will be some turbulence, please fasten your seat belts." another lady came out and held up a seat belt showing everyone how to fasten it. Cera did so and looked a Dhia to make sure he did the same, "What is going on??"

"Uh, it means we're going over some fast winds or something, and the plane might be dangerous without a seatbelt." He replied, fastening his seatbelt. "Don't worry about it, this usually happens. It's not anything to worry about."
The started to rock and the lights flickered.

Cera was still slightly worried though, she closed her window as they entered a dark cloud. "Are you sure??" she asked Dhia, a plane attendant was now coming around making sure everyone was securely fastened, she was waking up pets that were asleep and helping those with problems. "I assure you everything is alright, Miss, we just need to take precautions." She said reissuing a women who was on the virge of panicking. The plane swayed again and the attendant rushed back into her quarters to check things out. Cera became uncomfortable and grabbed the armrest firmly.

"Don't worry." Dhia said, putting his hand on Cera's and smiling. "We'll be fine."
The plane swayed again and the lights went out. A crackling voice came over the P.A.
"Do not panic everyone, we seem to have some engine failure, nothing to- ahhh!"
The plane lurched towards the sea below, gaining speed as it hurtled towards the water. Everyone was screaming.

Cera was now squeezing Dhia's hand him fear, her mind racing...I need to get off the plane; I need to get off...She turned to Dhia, "I can save us... I need to fly us off the plane..." She said desperately. Cera looked out the window again, they were now falling over a group of deserted Islands. Breath masks were falling from above and attendants were bravely going around showing pets how to put them on, a shoyru got up and yelled at one of the attendants to let him off the plane and a krobat insisted on going too. Cera looked back at Dhia, "I need to get us off of here..." she said a calmly as possible to him hoping that he would trust her.

Time was running out. The plane was hurtling towards the sea.
"Okay, let's go then." Dhia said, squeezing Cera's hand. "I trust you.."

Cera got up, still holding Dhia's hand and rushed toward the open door that the kobat and the shoyru had left out of. The air was like a vacuum, rushing by them, Cera started to get nervous but brushed the feeling off, "OK...." she said taking a deep breath and looking back at all the other helpless pets. She felt bad for them but the ocean was looming nearer and nearer. She grabbed Dhia's waist, "Are you ready??" she asked but she jumped before she got an an answer. She let them free-fall for a few seconds before she started flapping her wings, Dhia was alot heaver than she thought...
There was a huge explosion behind her apparently the plane had more than just engine problems. Cera watched as debree fell past her, she held Dhiablos closer to her and then it hit.... A sharp pain hit her in her left side, she would have screamed but it hurt too much... Then next thing she felt was herself falling and the sting from the ocean water....
((Whoa that was longer then I thought.... ;D))

(( yeah it was good though. sorry for my short-ish posts lately, I've been a bit blank ..xD )) Dhiablos hit the water. It was wet. It was salty. And it was cold. Underwater, Dhiablos opened his eyes. The water was rough, and before he could get to the surface, there was a splash, and he saw the limp figure of Cera descend into the ocean. He swam quickly towards her and saw a large gash on her left side, which was bleeding pretty badly. His lungs were about to burst, but he grabbed Cera and surfaced. The only land he could see was a green speck on the horizon, which was ages away. "Cera..Cera." He croaked, and tried to wake her up. She appeared to be unconscious, and the water around them was turning scarlet slowly. "Cera - wake up. Cera? Cera - can you hear me?!" "Cera?" He cried desperately. (( now /that's/ a long post.  )) |

She felt something grab her but didn't resist, she had no energy to. Then she heard her name being called over and over but it hurt to speak. She wanted to open her eyes, she wanted to call back, she wanted to find Dhiablos but she couldn't. All she could do was groan so that is what she did...
