(( xDDD it's contagious! )) "Oh thank Fyora!" Dhiablos said with relief. She wasn't ok, but she was alive, and that was better than nothing.
The waves were getting more rough, and it was harder for Dhiablos to stay afloat, especially since he was carrying Cera. The wreck of the aeroplane wasn't too far away, and there was debris floating around. There was no sound of any survivors.
A piece of debris (he thought it was plastic or something) floated past, about the size of a small surfboard. Summoning the last of his strength, Dhia placed Cera carefully on the debris, making sure it stayed above the water.
"Cera - I don't know if you can hear me - Listen, I don't know where we are, but there's land on the horizon. I'll try and fix your wound a little-" He couldn't see anything around him that would serve as a bandage. He thought of something suddenly. Trying to stay afloat, he took off his shirt (it was weighing him down anyway) wrung it out, and wrapped it around Cera's wound tightly. "-sorry, best I had." He hated to see her like this. Tears sprang into his eyes, hard to see on his already wet face.

Cera opened her eyes, now that she felt out of the water... She blinked a few times and looked at Dhiablos, smiling weakly, "Hey........" she said hoarsly, she salt from the water had coated her throat making it hard to talk. She tries to look at her side but desided not to so she wouldn't flip the thing that she was floating on...

"Hey Cera, you're awake." Dhiablos said and smiled. He was freezing, tired and scared witless, but he didn't show it. Cera was ok, and that's all he was worried about. He started to swim, holding the board in front of him so Cera wouldn't have to swim. He'd take her to the island on the horizon. "I don't know about you, but this is the worst flight I've ever been on."

It hurt to talk so Cera didn't reply, she saw him struggling and wished she oculd help... Maybe someone would come along.., Cera douted but there was still hope. She placed one of her hands on Dhiablos trying to reassure him in the best was she could with out hurting herself.

Dhiablos just smiled and looked at the sky. About six hours ago, we were at home, safe and getting ready to go on this stupid holiday. He thought, staring at the blazen orange sky, the sun setting in the horizon. What are we going to do now? We'll never get to land before dark. He was starting to get really tired from swimming, but he kept going as best as he could. I wish I'd never planned this stupid holiday..

Cera felt helpless, she really did want to help but all she could do was lay here on this piece of plastic. She wondered what happened to the shoyru and the kobat, are they floating around somewhere like we are... Then she wondered about all the other people on the plane... Now she really felt helpless... She looked at Dhiablos, he looked so exhausted. Determinedly, she started to climb off of the plastic thing and into the water, "I'll help..." she said hoarsely, smiling weakly.

"No, no, stay there. The salt water will make your wound sting." he said, stopping her. "You aren't exactly in the right shape for swimming anyway, are you?" Dhiablos kept swimming towards the land on the horizon. The speck had gotten bigger considerably, They could now see the yellow strip of the beach, some trees and a mountain.

She had to imit he was right... She didn't like to see Dhiablos like this though and she felt like it was all her fault... She sighed, "No..." She looked at their destination, it was alot closer... She sighed again and layed her head on her arms and looked at Dhia.

The sun was setting; the pale blue of the sky was fading into a starburst or orange, red and pink. They were starting to get into more shallow water, and before long they were at the shore.
Dhia helped Cera onto the beach before he he laid down, panting and exhausted. His feet were stinging, they had been cut by the rocks underwater and stung by the salt water.
The last of the sun vanished from the sky and it grew darker very quickly. A cool breeze rustled through the leaves of the tall palm trees that littered the island.

Cera laid down beside him, and reassured him, "You did it, you got us here..." She said looking at him. "How are you are you ok??" She asked after a long pause, he had taken such good care of her now she felt liable to do something for him, he looked in pain but it was too dark to see anything right now.

"..yeah" He gasped, still panting. His eyes were closed tightly, and he had one hand over his face. His feet were cut and bleeding on the sand. He sat up, and looked out to the sea, the moon now high in the sky. "What are we going to do Cera?" he asked her, looking for some sort of reassurance. "No-one knows that we're out here."

Cera looked at him, she really didn't know what they were going to do.... "I-I-I don't know..." She said looking down and shaking her head. This was supposed to be a wonderful vacation, just her and Dhiablos... but now all of this. She felt like crying but she kept it in... she really didn't know what to do....

(( that's so good. ^^ )) Dhiablos sighed and put his arm around Cera. It was starting to get pretty cold. "We should sleep now I guess..." he mumbled. "..worry about stuff like that tomorrow, when we've got more energy." Native wildlife of the jungle could be heard. Birds and frogs were calling, and glowing bugs came out into the twilight.

Cera watched a lightning bug hover over her and glow for a brief second and then fly away. She sighed, she knew she would hurt a lot more in the morning once she grew unnumb from the cold. She held Dhiablos's hand that was over her shoulder and closed her eyes, "Night..." She whispered to him and then fell asleep almost instantly.
