Being exhausted, he fell asleep almost the same time as Cera did.
Sunlight was leaking through his eyelids, prying them open. He groaned and sat up, growing accustomed to the morning sun. Dhia felt like he hadn't slept at all, and he was absolutely covered in sand. He stretched, and started to brush sand off his jeans.

Cera flet him sturring beside her, she opened her eyes and started to sit up but a sharp pain struck through her side. She grabbed it, groaning; she was right, it hurt twice as much as it did yesterday... She stayed laying on the cold sand, looking up at the passing clouds...

Dhia looked at his surroundings blearily.
Out in the ocean, the shore was protected by a thick reef in shallow water, where many tropical fish darted through coral, seaweed and underwater caverns.
so that's why I cut my feet so badly, he remembered, rubbing his cut feet anxiously. the reef isn't exactly foot-friendly I guess.
Behind him, there was a wide birth of the white-sanded shore, dusty and littered with shells, seaweed and pebbles. Continuing behind him was a thick jungle forest, where the sounds of birdlife and insects was thick in the air.
We're completely and utterly lost. he thought. and no-one knows we're here.

Cera looked at him, "What wrong?" she stopped, "Other than us stuck on this dreaded island??" She added plainly. She looked at where he was rubbing, she couldn't get a good look because she was still laying down. She painfully sat up, wincing as pain shot up her side. Cera glanced back over to Dhia, his feet and legs cut up and covered in sand, "What happened??" She said worriedly.

"Hm? oh I cut my feet on the reef last night. Nothing major, I'll live. You however," he said, glancing at Cera's cut, "look pretty bad. Does it hurt a lot?"

Cera sighed and lifted up her shirt a little so she could see it, is wasn't deep enough to get anything inside but it was deep.... It started about an inch away from her belly button and ended about where her wing started... She removed Dhia's shirt, not really remembering him putting it on her, and put it aside. I t had stopped bleading but it was still pretty bad...

"Yeah, that looks pretty bad. At least it's not bleeding." Dhia stood up, and peered over to the jungle. There was a clear path winding it's way through the trees.
"Hey Cera," he said, walking over to her and sitting down. "There's a path in the trees there. maybe there's like a village or something." He picked up the bloodstained shirt and dusted it off.

Cera turned her head as far as she could, trying to avoid twisting her body, and noticed the path too... Hope fulled her heart, "Maybe..." she said, that was the only thing she could really say... she didn't really think that there was anyone else here... She tryed to stand up without much success, "Can you help me up?" she asked Dhia, she felt like an old person... not able to do anything without help...

"Oh, sure." He stood up, and offered her a hand, making sure she didn't move too much. "Can you still walk?" he asked sheepishly. He had his heart set on the fact that there must be some sort of village here, otherwise, Cera would have to stay injured until somebody found them. more like *if* somebody finds us.

"I'm not quite sure..." She said gently heaving herself up. She used Dhia's shoulder to balance her and eventually was able to walk without her side hurting her too much. She got a better view of the path, it definatly looked man-made (you know what I mean). "Shall we?" she said smiling and looking back at Dhiablos.

"But of course." Dhiablos locked arms with Cera and they headed down the path. The air was hot and humid, and many strange jungle plants creeped across the path. Insects and birds of every type could be heard, but not seen. They were all up higher in the canopy.
The path was a small dirt path that was carved through the jungle, between large plants and trees.

Cera heard voices ahead and saw a cleared out section with little houses. She slid her arm down and grabbed Dhia's hand, she really hopped these were nice natives, she didn't want to become a sacrifice to some God... They approached the village and one of the people noticed them, he said something in a unrecognizable language and more of them flowed out of the tents. Cera looked at Dhia, "Shall we?" she choked out again.

"Uh..sure." He said, not taking his eyes of the natives. They were random pets wearing paint on their faces, stange masks and beads in their hair. Some were carrying spears, baskets of food or young children. They leered at Cera and Dhiablos as the chattering stopped.
There was an awkward silence, save for the animals calling in the jungle.
"Uh..hello." He said, and waved his hand awkwardly.
When Dhia raised his hand, the surrounding natives with spears poised and pointed them at Cera and Dhiablos threateningly.

Cera quickly grabbed his hand and forced it down, "Don't do that they might take it personally some way!" she yelled softly at him. She turned back to the natives and gave a weak smile, "How?" she said questionably, testing for any further reactions. A kougra naive took a step forward, he was older looking and apparently the chief of the village. He nodded to Cera and Dhia and turned to face his people, saying something in their weird language. The crowe cheered and advanced towards them. "I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing..." she said worried.

"Oh.. I don't know." The natives were advancing on them, but it was hard to tell if they were friendly or not. Dhiablos backed away with Cera, eventually backing into a tree and hitting his head.
The natives were closing in, speaking to each other in their strange language..
