Phynn looked a bit taken aback at Daani's sad look, and she instantly started an atempt to clear the expression form the girl's face.
"No, Daani, don't worry about it. I'm sorry I yelled at you, I'm just nervous, sorry..." The ruki frowned, a look of unease crossing her face. She sighed, a sad smile appearing as she looked at Daani.
"Look, Lue's got a point, let's keep moving." she followed the lupe a ways, looking back on Daani and Checkr.

Daani hesitated, but then stood up. She sighed and turned to walk into the disheveled castle, passing by all of them to make the trip there. It had never been rebuilt as the village had been, because they didn't want to upset the royal spirits that had once lived there.
Finally making it to the palace, she wandered inside, her shoes clacking against the debris-ridden marble floor. A look of fierce determination was worn on her face, and for but half a second, the eleven-year-old was replaced by a taller, dirty-looking Aisha with an eyepatch and a trenchcoat and boots, and then back again. She didn't even notice the transition as she made her way to the basement door.

Lue followed along behind her, looking back and making sure the other two were following too. He hesitated at the palace entrance but trusted Daani, somewhat, and continued on. His tail picked up dust and left a trail behind him as he looked around at the torn up place, "Is this... Is this your home?" He asked hoping it wasn't too much of a sensitive matter. If it was then they were halfway there to getting Daani's voice back, or that is how Lue looked at it anyways... As he was looking up at Daani for an answer and saw someone else there, it looked like a bigger Daani with weird cloths on. Or it appeared to be anyways, but then after a blink of his eyes she was normal again. Lue rubbed his eyes and yawned, I must be getting tired again... He thought to himself.

Daani stopped and looked back at Lue to nod once, and then she looked back at the door she was headed for. She walked there slowly, and then carefully gripped the knob. Her carefulness wasn't enough-- she felt the broken glass of the chipped knob bite her, and when she pulled her hand back, it was bleeding a little. She clenched her teeth together. That wasn't like that last time she was here. She lifted her leg and kicked the door. It fell down easily.
She looked back at everybody once the stairs down were revealed, and then headed down them.

Lue looked over her shoulder at her hand but then disreguarded it when the door was suddenly kicked down. He grabbed the door and removed it from the stairway fot the rest of them to get by. "Do you know where your going?" He asked as she started walking down the dark stairway, not quite sure what could be down there. He knew that Daani probably knew exactly where she was going but he couldn't help but asking. He still found it weird that she didn't know anything about her yet she could somehow direct you perfectly to where you needed to go... He started heading down the dark stairs behind her.

Once again, Daani nodded. Her memory was back and so was her mind's map of the castle. She made her way down the dark stairs slowly, and then made her amulet shine in one direction, like a flashlight. She pointed it down. Some steps were covered in weird substances, and others were just gone. She made her way down carefully, keeping the light on so that anyone who followed her wouldn't slip and kill themselves or something.
Eventually the stairs ended and she came across another door. A faint green light pulsed through the edges. She checked the knob; it was okay, and unlocked. She pushed the door open and the light from her amulet went away as the new green light flooded the stair hall. She entered.

Lue stumbled down a couple of stairs but caught himself, "Watch out for that one..." He said and made it to the bottom only to encounter a blinding green light. "Hey Daani, wait up..." He said and grabbed her arm before she disappeared into the light. Phyn and Checkr were still making their way down the stairs, he didn't need them spliting up or losing Daani...

((Ack, sorreh, but here's where I have to put in my twist! XP)) The door slammed shut on its own. Daani barely noticed Lue there with her, because she was mesmerized by the source of the light. She walked up to it and looked. There, in a pedastal in the center of the room, was a magicked jar, which gave off the light - partially - but what was inside it was what caught her attention. Her voice box!She took hold of the jar and the light vanished, the only remaining light the flickering glow of a torch on a wall. "So, you actually came," said a feminine voice from behind; Daani almost dropped the jar. She turned. A cloaked figure stood at the door, which she just now realized was closed. "I had a feeling you would. I just didn't expect you to bring company." Company... Phyn and Checkr! Where were they?! The cloaked woman seemed to read her mind. "Your other friends have been sealed off inside the stairwell. The door you kicked down is back up and unmovable, as is this one behind me. You'd best hope they don't fall down one of those holes and break their necks, or worse..." She cackled. Daani looked at her skeptically, then put her hand on the lid of the jar. It zapped her and she pulled back sharply. She glared at the woman, who was now looking at Lue. "Well, now, so you brought one of your friends in here with you?" she asked. "He doesn't look too tough, the poor hybrid. He and your other friends will be easy to kill off, something I cannot say about you, I'm afraid." ((  )) |

Lue looked around confused, he couldn't see anything, his eyes had gotten used to the light and not were back to being messed up by the sudden light change. He could feel another presents in here with them though and he didn't even think about doubting that voice that rang through the celler that they were now trapped in. He kinda knew that there would be something like this, that was why he wanted them to be together... Now they were split up though.
A frown appeared on Lue's face when she mentioned killing them off, "Don't you dare lay a finger on them." He growled. He had no idea what he was going to do, he was happy that they found the voice box but now they had to deal with, yet another, enemey of Daani's... He stepped between Daani and the shadow figure without thought, once his eyes got used to the light.

((  ummm, whaddaya mean? lol )) "Oh, please, don't give me that, you stupid hybrid," she said, flinging out her magick at Lue. Daani sensed and saw it before it happened; she dove at Lue but was a hair too late-- the magick hit both of them and they fell into a dark hole that appeared as if from nowhere. Then they landed in a grassy field. The jar rolled away from her. Daani grabbed it and put a hand on the lid, biting her lip at the searing pain until her lip bled, and then it came off at last. Her amulet glowed slightly and a little green hand swirled out of it. It pointed at the voice box and then at Daani's throat. It disappeared, and she coughed, her arm throbbing. And then she heard them. "No," she muttered. She stood up, but was pushed back down by an invisible rod. She looked at Lue. "No, Lue," she screamed, "move! Run!" But she knew he wasn't there mentally. ((Lue thinks he's still in the dark abyss, but he's really not)) |

((Yes, he hears Daani calling but he doesn't know it's her because he's never heard her talk. And all he sees is the blackness around him, and he can't move.))

Lue sprung up, looking around confused, "Daani!?!" he called out but only heard his own voice return to him. "Hell no..." He said and looked around his eyes not falling on anything but the darkness that surrounded him. Thoughts raced through his mind, he had to get back to Phyn and Checkr... Daani could probably handle herself with her Oracle powers and whatnot but the other two... He did know where to go though, every way looked the same. "HELLO!!!" He called out his hands cupped around his mouth, "Hello?" He hears a voice but it definitely isn't Phyn's or Checkr's.... It's telling him to run but the question is where. It somehow knows his name and sounds panicked; Lue starts running but he doesn't feel like he is getting anywhere, its like he is running in place so he stops. "Where are you?" he calls out to the voice, wondering where it is comming from in all this darkness.
