Checkr wasn't sure exactly what to do, but then turned to Lue, "Hey, Lue, let's go along with them..." She cast a wary glance at Daani's mother, smiling uneasily, then started walking for the woods, eventually breaking into a trot and then a run.

((oO Daani's mom??))
Lue sighed, "Hey wait up!" He said and ran after her, "I know the general direction she went but then she did something to the forest and it all changed... He ran past her and weaved through the trees, able to follow his own scent from before. But then he stopped and looked over at Checkr, "This is where it gets confusing..." He said and started jogging again.
((do you want us to find Daani?))

Phyn and her father looked about the border betwen the haunted woods and the lost desert to no avail. Neither of them could see any sign of the green aisha. Phyn looked toward the woods dejectedly. She glanced over at her father, who didn't seem to be trying too hard in his looking, but she admitted defeat. If she was in the woods they wouldn't find her, and the desert was bare as far as they could see. She flew closer to her father, tapping himon the arm and starting back toward her mother and friends.
When the two landed, Phyn looked around confused, ehr mother walking towards them. "Where'd Lue and Checkr go?" she asked, taking her bag back." "They went into the woods, looking for your friend. Phyn, I'm not letting you go after them."
The young ruki looked up at them pleadingly, but she knew she had crossed the limit of their patience. She was going back to meridell, to get scolded and punished, but she didn't even get to say goodbye to everyone. She sighed, pulling out a piece of paper and scribbling a note for Lue and Checkr, slipping it under a rock near the outskirts of the forest, trudging back to her parents, and the three left for Meridell.
'Dear Lue and Checkr, I couldn't find Daani, and I have to go. I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to you. Best of luck searching, and I hope you guys find good homes for yourselves. Your friend, Phyn.'
((This'll end Phyn's part in the RP. Sorry it's kinda jerky, I didn't want to spend forever writing.))

((whoops, i meant Phyn's mom ^^; Yeah, Imma going to miss this rp. It was fun))
Checkr followed Lue at a jog, eyes darting all around, keeping quite close, as not to be seperated. Getting lost also came to mind but it was pretty insignificant compared to finding their friend.
"Daani?" she called repeatively, "Daani?! Where are you!"
Finally after some time traveling through the woods, she stopped abruptly, gazing around, then practically screamed, "DAANI!", voice cracking. She then stood with her head bowed, shaking with a mixture of sadness, anger, and overall stress. "It's hopeless." she croaked, though looking around again nontheless.

Lue looked back at her, seeing the emotion in her. He went over to her and set a hand on her shoulder, "Maybe she doesn't want to be found... We did our best." He said, trying to confort her. He really didn't know what to do. They seemed to have searched everywhere for her but nothing seemed to work.

Checkr gritted her teeth, and angrily jerked her shoulder away from Lue. "We can't give up though! Maybe she doesn't want to be found, but she should be! Atleast we have to say goodbye.. or something!" The kyrii then muttered something under her breath about 'how everything ended up like this', and started marching through the woods, continuing to look for Daani, eyes blazing.
((we get to see Checkr's stubborn nature now xDDD))

Lue sighed and followed. He wanted to say goodbye just as much as Checkr did but he was actually being realistic about it for once. He wasn't going to let Checkr get lost in these woods though so he continued to follow her, "You know she has magic and stuff like that... She probably teleported out of here or something." He said after a few more minutes of searching. ---- And indeed she did teleport out of there. Lue and Cheker had continued to search for the rest of that day until night rolled around and even then they continued to search. It wasn't until they were practically mute from screaming Daani's name and zombies from the lack of sleep did they stop and once they did they slept for hours and hours, dreaming that they had found the girl they were looking for. Once they woke up and ate, they started heading back toward civilization. The walk took all of one day and half of the next but they made it. Lue and Checkr continued to hang out together until, like most non romantic relationships, they went their seperate ways, tired of looking at one another. Lue wandered around for a while until he came across a strange pink bori and after much debate joined the little family of her's. He actually enjoyed the family, never having one of his own, and stayed their longer than he had planned. He still thought about the grand adventure him, Checkr, Phyn and Daani had taken and kept those memories sacred but he didn't think he would come across and of those friend again. He did wonder what had happened to Daani, if she had found a family like he had and if she had her magic under control and all. He wondered the same about Checkr and Phyn, if they were doing fine, if Checkr had found a family, and if Phyn still lived with her's. But all in all everything was great with Lue, he was as happy as can be and everything was perfect and perfect it stayed THE END xD

When Daani came to, it was dark, and cold. Not a soul was in the market that had been bursting with people when she'd arrived. She looked back in the direction she came longingly. Perhaps Lue and Checkr and Phyn were still there, looking for her.... But they'd have given up long ago, she knew. This was her choice, and she was going to stick with it. She could make a life here in Sahkmet for a while. But Daani was tired, and so she curled up on the ground again and fell asleep. Whoever said being unconscious was the same as getting sleep was mental.
The next day, Daani met a small family that decided to take her in as a servant. Within the week, Daani had totally adapted to the desert lifestyle and knew almost everybody. Days turned into weeks, which turned into months. After almost a whole year, one of the palace guards came to the house and asked if she would like to work as a maid at the palace. She and the family agreed and for another seven months, Daani made her wage as a maid. It wasn't much pay, but it was better than nothing and better than what the family had been paying her.
But Daani grew to fear her magick, and fear it desperately. She felt like she could never truly move on until she'd gotten rid of it. But how would she do that? She pondered this question every single day.
At first, Daani simply lived because she expected life to get better. But it didn't, and after she was kicked out of the palace for accidentally breaking a ton of expensive items with magick she no longer had control over, it just kept getting worse. Everyone knew of her magick and no one wanted her around. Finally she left Sahkmet, turned her back on it and its people forever, and ventured into the desert, nearly dead by the time she was three quarters of the way to Altador.
But she couldn't die. Her previous motivation for living had been hope; but it had slowly morphed and now, her single and only motivation was to someday find Lue and tell him that she thought of him every day, that she loved him and was sorry for abandoning him. But it was tough. Where was he? He could be anywhere in Neopia. No, she couldn't die. He had to know, someday. And once he did, they could be together and she would finally be happy again. At least, these were her original thoughts. Years would change them, and she would someday come to accept truth that he couldn't possibly love her back. But she didn't even think this for years.
While dying in the desert, a caravan happened by and they gave her food, drink, and a ride. She got to Altador safely and there she lived in the streets for many months. Her control on her magick was slowly but surely getting weaker and weaker, her fear of it stronger and stronger. By the time she was thirteen, she was terrified of it and living in constant fear. But as if an angel finally heard her pleas, a young Wocky found out about her magick and was intrigued. She wanted to be an Oracle.
Daani gave the girl her magick gratefully and then smashed her amulet into smithereens under a stone. She was surprised she'd kept it so long. The Wocky was ecstatic, but Daani's magick killed her the first time she tried to use it. That was the first of many deaths Daani would see in her lifetime.
And so, magickless, Daani decided to buy herself a gun. She remembered the joy of walking the haunted woods with a machine gun tucked under her arm, and relished in the handgun she bought for herself. She took up the job of being hired by other people to get rid of, say, a witch that was terrorizing their village. She became a hitwoman and though she didn't mind killing regular people for pay, she felt a rush of true pleasure when she killed someone with magick. She hated magick and would until the day she died.
But every time she laid down to go to sleep, she would close her eyes and see Lue's face. Would he be disappointed in her? Would he hate her if he knew the person she'd become, forced into adulthood at thirteen by hardships and deadly trials? It wasn't often that she thought of Checkr, and even less did she think of Phyn, but Lue was always on her mind, in the back of her head, her conscious, whispering words to her that she hardly listened to anymore.
Yes, someday Lue would know. And he wouldn't love her in return, but he would know. He didn't have to love her. She would be satisfied with him simply knowing. And then she could end this hell that she dragged herself into. But someday was very far away, and until then, Daani would have to endure everything that came at her, and fight for her life every day. If not for Lue, she would have let herself die long ago. But her love for him was the motivation that kept her fighting to survive, that kept her waking up every morning, that kept her breathing. Her life was wrapped around his finger and he didn't know it.
And so Daani lived unhappily for years when she could have lived happily with Lue and Checkr. But one stupid decision, one tiny choice, changed her whole life. She wanted to live with them, but she went against her desires.
Be careful about the choices you make. You never know what the outcome of one, tiny as it may seem, will be.
The End
