They couldn't do a bond. It would make Daani tell about the living together thing. It wasn't as big of a deal as she was making it out to be, she knew, but she just...
"We can't do a bond," she said, her voice shaking. "We can't do a bond. We can't."

Checkr looked surprised and turned to Daani, voice almost harsh at first but quickly softening as she saw the distress the aisha was in, "What? What do you mean we can't?"

"We can't do it," said Daani, her body shaking, tears coming down her cheeks in a rush. "We can't do it, we can't do it. I can't..."

Checkr's eyes widened, surprised at tears.. It was sad, she supposed, but... "Daani? What do you mean?"

Lue looked at her with a worried look, "What's going on? Daani are you sure your ok?" He asked figuring this had something to do with her dieing earlier. "Fine..." He said and turned to the others, "We won't do a blood bond... I'm sure there is another bond we can do." He looked up at the sky real quick, the specks now became dots as Phyn's parent's grew nearer.

"It's not about the blood," she protested irritably. "We can't do a bond at all! Not any sort! Well, you three can, but I can't!" She stood there, crying helplessly, and then said so quietly she herself could hardly hear it, "Don't chase me."

Lue looked over at her again, "Daani, what's wrong..." He said, putting a hand on her shoulder and making her face him. He was really worried about her, something definitely wasn't right here and he didn't want her to be upset when they were leaving... First impressions were great but last impressions last longer, and with her crying right now there would be no way to leave a good last impression..

She pushed his hand off her shoulder. "I said DON'T CHASE ME!" she yelled, and without another word, she bolted off into the woods, away from them, away from her friends, away from open space, and deeper into the Haunted Woods, not going back home, for there was no home for her to go to. She could have had one, made one with Checkr and Lue, but she didn't, and she won't, and she couldn't, and so she ran on through the woods, hoping they wouldn't chase her.
((What a nice "last impression", eh? XDDDDDDD Poor Daani...))

Lue looked at Checkr and Phyn and then into the woods, "Stay here..." He said and then ran after her. "Daani! Come back!!" He said, following the sound of her breaking through the trees and stumbling though the leaves. "Daani!" He called out, dodging around trunks and ducking branches. He didn't want her getting lost... They just saved her from dieing, he didn't need her starving to death out here.

Phyn watched open mouthed as Lue ran after the aisha. She didn't know what to make of the whole occurence. With the soft hum of her parents growing nearer these last moments were taking on more and more of a dream like state.
She wiped the tears from her eyes quickly, looking up at the approaching ruki. She wrapped her arms around her self, debating whether or not to run to her parents, or stay with Checkr. The first sounded much more appealing to her confused self, but she didn't want to leave them without a goodbye, or anyhitng of the sort.
She sighed, looking back to the woods and glancing at Checkr.

Daani could feel his want, his want to find her, and she itched to grant it. But instead she shifted the image of the forest with her mind to confuse him. "I'm sorry," she whispered, continuing her run to nowhere.

Lue stopped stunned, the trees and forestry moves around him, messing up any chance he had of finding her... "DAANI!!" He called out, now angry... "NOW HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO FIND MY WAY BACK?!?!" He knew she could hear him, that was why she changed the forest. A scowl formed on his face as he chugged though the new landscape, smoke puffing from his nose

She'd shifted it so that he would continuously end up back where Checkr and Phyn were, and so she didn't know what he was yelling about. She was running out of energy and slowed down to a walk, leaning against a tree for support while she caught her breath, and then picked up her run again. When she exited the trees, it was sand that greeted her, not grass, and it was awfully hot out.

Lue growled and turned around, "Fine, if you don't want to be found than so be it... I don't know what the hell is wrong with you Daani but..." He shook his head and started jogging back though the woods, finding his own scent and following it back to there Phyn and Checkr were. He shook his head sadly and shrugged, "I don't know what's wrong with her..." He said and looked up at the Ruki, "I guess our adventure comes to an end after all..." He muttered gravely.

Daani sat on the warm sand, and sobbed. It wasn't too late, she knew. She could still turn around and catch up with them. But she knew she wouldn't.
Had she known how hellish her life would be from that moment on, she never would have left. She did because she had this weird feeling inside her stomach and her heart did funny things whenever Lue was around, talking to her, holding her. She didn't know what it was, and she didn't like it very much.
She was sure Phyn hated her. Maybe she was nice time to time, but she just didn't seem to like Daani at all. Checkr liked her and was nice, but Daani didn't seem to feel wanted by any of them. That was why she ran. That was why she didn't suggest them living together. Because she didn't feel wanted.
