Phyn sat up, eyeing the smoking building in the distance. She sighed, her antennae drooping a bit. She sat with her legs stretched out in front of her, leaning back for a moment till she had her breath. Thentshe turned to the others,answering their questions.
"Yeah, I'm fine, but...." she didn't want to ask what had happened to Daani, she had made her own assumptions and was not too pleased with them. She pulled her knees up and hugged them, looking mournfully at the castle ahead.

Lue brushed the debris off of his clothing and fur and stood up, painfully. "We need to go after her, we can't just leave her in there..." He said looking at the smoking castle with a determined expression. He turned and looked at the other two, "I want you two to stay here though..." He said with a small smile, "Try to go find some help." He suggested but the real truth was that he didn't want another one of his friends getting hurt.....

"No way! We're going with you. I mean, that's not fair if we have to stay behind." She jumped up, stumbling a little but pulling hersle ftogether. She gripped her bag strap and gave him a challenging look before giving Checkr a glance of question you coming too?

"Of course! No way you're leaving me behind!" Checkr said in agreement, leaping up to her feet in a jumbled mass of legs. She stood there for a moment, adjusting her balance, and furiously pushing her hair out of her face, then took a few steps towards the castle.
"We're in the middle of the Haunted Woods? What help?" she said, then added, "Besides.. You and... Daani..." She paused, then shook her head, stubbornly clinging to the notion that Daani was alright.. Maybe out cold or something.. but alright..."-might need us."
She started for the castle.

Lue smiled and nodded, glad that they wanted to help and weren't being dragged into the castle by him. His tail wagged slightly as he followed Checkr back to the building but went limp when he thought of their mission again. "We'll have to get back to the basement so we better act fast before it caves in..." he said but as they got closer he realized the source of the explosion had came from the basement....

The castle had exploded, but its structure still held some. The basement room that the two bodies were in seemed to stress and want to cave in, but a sort of magickal force seemed to keep it up.
The soul of the evil menace that had wiped out nearly the entire Oracle race was trapped inside a photograph that had come out of the chipped camera. The camera was clutched in the cold and unmoving fingers of the little eleven-year-old green Aisha, the very last Oracle to live.
Her breaths were short and few, but breaths nonetheless.

Phyn nodded gravely at lue's comment, scampering forward the the begining of the rubble.
"Ok, well, how do we get DOWN to the basement?" she asked, dropping her bag on the ground before jumping into the air, hovering over the ruined building. Her hair blew about her face as the soft buzzing from her wings broke the general silence.

"Hey!" Checkr called from up ahead. "Look at this!" She pointed down into what looked like a black hole. "There were stairs here. See... The wooden ones up higher are gone but the stones are still there! you can barely see them in the dark but..." She pointed at the wreckage, then sat down at the edge, legs hanging into the blackness for a moment, swallowed, and then jumped.

Lue looked down into the hole, not seeing anything but hearing Checkr landing on something. "You better be right." He called into the hole and jumped in after her, opening his wings to reduce his fall somewhat. He landed on the cold stone below and looked up at Checkr who was already down there, with a smile. "Phyn you can just fly down." He said not really worried about her getting down.

Phyn glanced over at her bag to make sure it wasn't going anywhere before dropping down into the hole herself. Sheopened her wings and hovered leverl with the two over the center of the spiraling staircase and set off after Checkr, merely making her way down the shaft and not touching the stairs.
The whole time her antennae stood erect as she scanned the darkness below, searching for the door.

Checkr grinned back at both of them, despite the circumstances, "Oh no fair. You two have wings." She then tured to regard the wall. "There should be a door or something." The kyrii started feeling around in the blackness, finally hitting the wall. She then began to run her hands over it, looking for a knob or a lever of some sort.

Phyn sighed once she got too low to see the walls enough to find the door, but so she hopped down ontp the stairs. She was quite a way ahead of Checkr and Lue, but apparently not enough to find the door. She did her bast to guess the height of the knob and began her own searching, her claws clicking on the stone as they slid from brick to brick.

Lue began to protest when Checkr said it was unfair that he had wings but disreguarded it. His eyes glowed a soft blue in the dark as his scanned the room for a door as well. "Hey you guys," He said walking over to the wall and finding a nob, "Over here." He said and slowly opened the creaky door, preparing himself for anything that might fall because of this movement.

Phyn happed over, landing beside the Lupe with a look of apprehension. Her antennae stood totally erect with apprehension as she watched the door closly, ready for the first glimpses of the room as Lue opened the door.

Checkr quickly followed, pressing into both of them and trying to get a look into the room, "Daani? Daani? Are you in here?" She stumbled her way into the room, then suddenly froze, seeing what looked suspiciously like... "Daani! Is that.. are you?" she fell silent, eyes wide, unsure whether to run over.
