"It's way east of here, out in the ocean. There's a lot of jungle there, and it's really warm and sandy," she said, a smile on her face. she loved explaining things. "I know most ruki live in the lost desert, but it's not as dry on Mystery Island." She took another bite of her apple before a thought struck her.
"I never introduced myself did I, I'm Phyn," she said holding out her hand to shake his.

Lue smiled, he had heard of the Lost Desert before... "Oh, I'm Lue." He said shaking her hand awkwardly. He wasn't used to socializing with kids his age, or anyone at that, and he really didn't want to mess up... "So where are these relatives of yours?" He asked looking around.

Phyn turned around, trying to catch sight og her mom and aunt. "Well, my mom, aunt, and cousin were here in the market when I came over here, so they can't be too far. My dad, my other cousin, and my uncle are probably at the hotel. I'd better go find my mom, though. I'll be right back." She smilied, taking off toward the last place she saw her mom. When she spotted her, she was instantly seized by her aunt.
"How dare you run away like that, Phyn, you had us worried sick," her aunt muttered, fussing over her while her cousin looking on smugly.
"But I was just talking to this boy I found. And mom said I could go on my own," the young ruki retorted, wriggling free. Soon her mother appeared herself, and Phyn set off complaining.
"I did tell her she could go off, Liza. I understand you keep firmer tabs on your kids, but we trust Phyn." her aunt scowled as her mother delivered this message. But Phyn wasn't about to get out unscathed.
"Phyn, if you're going to be dealing with stranger, at least run back to the hotel and get your charm from your dad. That way you can call us if you need help." To this Phyn nodded dejectedly, but as soon as she was released ran back to Lue.
"Sorry yo keep you waiting, but I have to go to the hotel and get something. You wanna come?" she asked, not wanting him to leave while she was gone.

Lue watched her run off and sat down against a tree, finishing off his apple and throwing the core in a bush behind him. He watched the commotion that Phyn had with her relatives with interest... As far as he knew he didn't have parents or relatives, he was sure they were out there somewhere but just like everyone else, they didn't want to accept him... He smiled when she returned and nodded again, "Sure I have nothing else to do." He agreed and stood up, his tail wagging again.

Phyn's smile brightened at this, and she took off, leading the way. "That's great, it's over this way," she said, walking off toward the building. Her apple was held forgotten in her hand for sometime, till she remembered it and took a bite. Of course she continued her questiniong. something that she had been quite curious about.
"So, how did you get your wings? Are you darigan or something?" she asked, looking back with a curious look. They were nearing the hotel, but she wanted to hear his answer first.

Lue ruffled his unusually small wings, "I was told I was part scorchio..." He muttered knowing that it wasn't proper for species to intertwine and that he was a product of such act... "Their nothing though... I can't fly." He said jumping up and flapping them as hard as he could only managing to stay in the air a second longer then he would have without his wings. He sighed and shrugged.

Phyn frowned, watching his futile attempt to be airborn.
"oh...that's too bad. I love flying," she said as they came to the door of the hotel. She finished off her apple, tossing the core in nearby trashcan before turning back to Lue.
"I'll be right back, just wait here, kay?" she said, before heading inside and up the stair to they're room.
When she entered she found the males of her family deep in a game of cards. Her father glanced up as she grabbed her small bag, stuffing a pencil and her sketch book in it before searching about for one last thing.
"Dad, have you seen my charm? Mom said I could go out by myself if I had it," Phyn asked, looking in a drawer for it. Her father got up and snatched it out of the suitcase, handing it to her.
"Alright, you know how I feel about you going off by yourself."
"It's ok dad, I just found this really nice boy in the market and I wanted to spend sometime with him." phyn said, taking the charm. A snicker came from her cousin and her father glanced skeptically out the window to down at the entrance.
"That Lupe down there, with the wings?" he asked as Phyn slipped her bag on her shoulder.
"Uh-hu"
"Alright, just be careful"
"I will."
With that she was able to escape and return outside, slipping the green and silver charm on over her head. "Sorry to keep you waiting, my dad wouldn't leave me alone" she said with a sheepish grin.

"It's fine." Lue said with a smile and looked down at the charm, "What's that?" He asked pointing to the necklace she now wore. He started walking back toward town, knowing of a few places they could explore. He usually looked for those kind of places, not for entertainment purposes like they were doing now but in case he needed a place to sleep...
((sorry for all the lame short posts.... I was up till 4 last night and yeah Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz))

"Oh, this thing? it's some kind of magic charm my parents make me wear. I think it makes it so I can call them, or they can find me. I'm not entirely sure." she responded, followeing him. She glanced around, taking in the sight as they went.
"So, where are we going? Do you know Meridell well?" She asked, fluttering a bit to catch up to him. Her camera and bag bounced as she landed.

"I saw this abandoned looking house when I walked in and wanted to check it out if you don't care..." Lue said and shook his head, "I have came here once before but only to pass through." He answered and slowed down for her to catch up, "So what's with the camera? Are you a photographer?" He asked wanting to ask her before about it but didn't.

"An abandoned house? That sounds cool," she said, walking next to him. When he mentioned the camera she picked it up, the strp still hanging around her neck.
"Not really, I just like taking pictures. And drawing. Well, actually just anything to do with art." Phyn replied, wresting with her bag to take out her sketch book. Normally she didn't show people, but she liked Lue, and he was nice. She flipped it open and handed it over.
"I know they're not exactly the best, put I try right?" she said with a smile. The pictures were actually pretty good, considering her age and given the fact that she drew almost all the time.

Lue took the book and started flipping through it, "Wow these are really good..." He said as he continued to walk and look at the pictures at the same time. "I can't draw at all...." he said but the truth was that he never really tried to draw but it didn't really interest him. "You think you could draw me?" He said jokingly but he did think it would be pretty cool if she did. He handed the book back to her and stopped in front of a house, there was a voice coming from it. Only one voice like the person was talking to herself. He gave Phyn a funny look and walked up to the door...

((Yeah, Elfin Lied doesn't have pervertedness. But DearS does. Nothing too bad though XDD Is Yuka the brown haired dude that's the one girls cousin?)) ((No, Yuka is the cousin, Kouta is the dude. ^_^ Sorry I was gone so long -- my mom was torturing me with some scalp treatment thing... *shivers*)) Daani shook the mud off her hand before taking Checkr's and standing up. She didn't know where Meridell was, so how did she get here? |

"I could try, but don't complain if you looks all mutated. I personally perfer taking pictures of people. That way they don't get made at me for drawing them badly." She said with a smile as she took the book back.
As they neared the house she heard the voice as well, and returned Lue skeptical look. She didn't follow him all the way o the door however, stoping a bit behind him.

Lue put his hand on the door and swung it open, stopping and looking back at Phyn, "Coming?" He asked, hoping she would, he was having fun with her tagging along. "We don't have to do this if your scared." He said knowing that peer pressure might help too.
((They are at the house where Checkr and Daani are ^^ just letting you know ^^))
