Phyn frowned, "I'm not scared, I'm coming." She said, fiddling with her bag as she slipped the sketchbook back. As she latched it closed again she scampered the last few steps till she was standing with Lue and looking inside, one hand on her camera. Her antennae stood erect with apprehension and curisosity.

((Checkr and Daani aren't in a house, they're headed for Meridell. X3 Oh, okay, the chick. Me no like her too much either XDD))
After Checkr pulled Dani to her feet, she set off, not releasing grip of her hand so she could effectively half lead, half drag the aisha towards where she wanted to go, through the woods. As they went she chattered along the way,"I wasn't born here.. When I was just a baby I lived in Terror Mountain but now I have my "other" parents here in Meridell.. They're not kyrii's but they're really nice..." And so on and so forth.
It didn't take them long to reach the market. "Okay, let's see if we can find a book or something.." said Checkr, releasing her claw-grip on Daani, already bending over a stall to examine the wares, much to the displeasure of it's owner.
((*hurried as much as possible to where Lue and Phynn are X3*))

She pulled out a handful of Neopoints. Where did these come from? she wondered. The shopkeeper looked interested. "How may I help you girls?" he asked. |

"Huh?" Checkr intoned, lifting her head from the box. Seeing the neopoints in the aisha's hand, she beamed broadly, "We're looking for a notebook.. And a pen."
"I'd have never thought you the writing type." said the vendor, but money was money, and he began searching for the items. As he did, Checkr crept closer to Daani. "Where'd you get those?" she whispered incredulously, before recalling that the aisha couldn't speak.

Lue walked in, it was dusty and the air was sickening. Lue made a face and looked back at Phyn who was still in the doorway, "Yeah ummmm, we don't have to do this..." He said holding his sensitive nose. Something had to of died in this house and Lue really didn't want to find out with the company of a girl... "He walked back out, lets go to the market, there is a lot of shops there..." He said knowing girls likes to shop and not really thinking of anything else that they could do...

Once Lue had opened the door Phyn smelled it as well. She hastily backed away from the door, "Yeah, let's go somewhere else. I don't want to know what's in there." she said, ready to close the door once he was out. She wasn't much of a shopper herself, but anywhere was better than that house.
"So the market it is?"

Lue shrugged, "I guess, I mean I have nothing I need to do..." He said leading her to the market anyways. It was pretty busy, a lot busier than the outer part of town. Here was where all the big shops where. They were selling food, clothing, petpets, about everything you could think of. Lue didn't have much money, he usually just had enough for food but it didn't really bother him... "I saw you sketchbook was pretty full..." He said leading her to a shop that sold notebooks.

Phyn let out a small laugh. "Maybe it is, but I don't know if I have enough neopoints for another one. But we can look," she said, following him to the store. She was really starting to like Lue, he was fun to be around.
As they neared the store, she noted the two neopets there already buying something. Phyn just stood near them, looking over the notebooks there, taking her own out and comparing them.

Daani shrugged in reply, and handed over several Neopoints to the shopkeeper, who gave her a little brown notebook and a black pen. "Thank you for your time," he said, putting the money away. Daani turned and saw a most peculiar pair: a cheerful-looking yellow Ruki with a camera and a not-so-cheerful... erm, Lupe, was it? With wings and spikes? She blinked in confusion.

"Er... sorry I didn't have any money." said Checkr awkwardly, then noticed the aisha looking at something. "What is it?" She turned, and saw what Daani was looking at. She stared back at them, not remembering seeing them anywhere... And she had lived here for a few months so that was quite the feat.
"Should we introduce ourselves?" she asked her companion, looking at them curiously. She took a few steps forward but hesistated, looking back to gauge the expression on the aisha's face.
