Daani shrugged again, holding the notebook and pen in her fists. She looked over at the other two curiously. They were coming this way. She knew she was awful curious to know what exactly that Lupe thing was.

Checkr blinked, then shrugged aswell. She turned around to face the Ruki and the Lupe, and started walking towards them. "Hi?" she said a bit doubtfully, looking down at her shoes for a moment and scuffing the dusty road with them.
"Do you know us from somewhere?" she asked, as they had been looking at them.

Phyn glanced up, hearing Lue address someone. She gave the two other neopets slightly curious looks, but was more focused on Lue. She was kind of unsettled with his tone, but otherwise didn't say anything.
When the kyrii addresssed them Phyn remained silent, but a quizzical look crossed her face.

Lue looked up at the kyrii, "No, why...." He said and noticed the aisha behind her, staring. "Can I help you with anything?" He asked raising an eyebrow and crossing his arms. He didn't really appreciate the aisha staring... He could handle the quick strange glances and the innocent questions but when someone just stands there and stares at him it makes him mad.

Daani opened the notebook and wrote on the first line in neat handwriting, I'm Daani. Who are you? she handed it to the Lupe, hoping he wasn't finding her rude for staring. Actually, she wasn't even staring at him, or at least she was, but she saw something else.

Lue smiled and showed her his dog tag, smiling. "Name's Lue." He said and turned to that Phyn was in view, "And this is Phyn." He said, hoping she wouldn't mind him introducing her to everyone.

"She can't talk. " offered Checkr as a way of explanation. Seeing that introductions were being made, the kyrii added, "I'm Checkr."
She glanced from the Ruki to the Lupe, back to Daani, trying to read their respective expressions. She noticed Daani was staring, but just judged it to be one of the newcomers.

Daani kept staring in Lue's direction. A vision played in her head. She saw him on a railroad track, and a train rushing right at him. She saw herself run at him and push him out of the way. She snapped to reality with a jolt when she hit the ground, Lue underneath her. She blinked, then sat up and backed away, wishing she could just disappear. What was all that about? she wondered, unaware of the fading glow in her necklace.

Phyn gave a sheepish grin as Lue introduced her, but the staring from the aisha was definatly unsettleing her nerves. Normally she would have been the one making the introductions. She moved to stand next to Lue, slipping her sketchbook back into her bag.
Of course she was caught off guard when while she was doing this the aisha tackled Lue. Phyn let out a soft shreik, jumping aside so she wouldn't get hit, but then she was kneeling down next to Lue. "Lue, are you ok?" she asked, watching the aisha with disbelief.

Lue was too surprised to say anything... Once she got off of him he stood up, "Ok she doesn't talk but why did she just tackle me....?" He asked completely and utterly confused. He backed away slightly and looked at Phyn, giving her a 'what just happened?' look.

Checkr stood there, looking at to either of them, eyes widening as Daani just went and pushed Lue.. well more like tackled him.. Out of nowhere! Her surprise was evident on her face, and the kyrii ran up to both of them, confused and startled.
"Daani! Why'd you do that?!" she cried, staring wide eyed at the both of them. She didn't notice the glow either.. And if she had, it would have just seemed a trick of the sun.
A few pets walking on the street looked up at Checkr's cry, but all were adults and dismissed it as the games and antics of children.

Phyn got up with the lupe, brushing herself off and holding tight onto her camera and the strap of her bag. She caught Lue look but could only return a similar look of confusion. "What was that for?"

Daani was panicked. She scrambled for her notebook, and wrote furiously, "There was a train coming after him-- I had to get him out of the way! She shoved it in front of of Checkr's nose and bowed her head repeatedly to Lue in a sort of silent apology.

Checkr read it quickly then read aloud for the benefit of the others:"There was a train coming after him-- I had to get him out of the way." She looked at the aisha, blue eyes very wide, filled with confusion, shock.. and if you looked hard enough, fear.
"But there wasn't a train." she said loudly and almost matter of factly. "Was there?" she asked Lue and Phyn, looking uneasy.
