Still seated, Lael waved her hand in the air. It formed into a shadowy tube, which then rolled itself into a cigarette. A lighter flew out from a nearby trash can and both hovered by Strips.
"What we're talking about, sir, is that this isn't even in our time. We are from nine years ago, and back we shall go." She looked up at him and warned, "If you ever see anybody that looks like us, but has a scar like a coil wrapped around her upper left arm, watch out. It's Bekka, and she will kill you on sight. If the coil is not there, you are safe to go."

Strips watched curiously with a raised eyebrow. There was now a cigarette and a lighter floating in front of him; he found this odd. Ask and you shall receive, I guess. He had to return his dagger to his pants belt so both his hands were free, but after he did that he grabbed the lighter and cigarette. Normally he'd ask if anyone minded him lighting up, but at this point he just didn't care.
He brought the cigarette to his mouth and held it with his lips while he lit it with the lighter in his other hand. Then placing the cigarette between two fingers, he inhaled deeply. Oooh, that's good. He sighed contently.
During all of this, he was listening to Lael talk. "From nine years ago, ah?" He wasn't sure what to make of all of this, but his nerves were calm now so he wasn't freaking out anymore. "I gotta ask one more thing. What the heck are you?"

Shallo just stared cautiously at the xweetok, shaking his head as she explained. He filed the fact about the coil to the back of his brain, notintg Strips out of the corner of his eye.
"How did you get here?"

Azura took Strips's help with a smile but then jumped back with a scream as the first petpet hit the cement. Blood splattered all over her front as she recoiled behind Strips and Shallo. The other petpets followed and Azura grabbed her ears and shut her eyes tight as the bodies hit the floor. She then backed away, the smell of blood the the echoing sound of bones crunching as they hit the concrete made her sick. She lowered herself into a sitting position, her head between her knees and her arms wrapped around her legs. She tried hard to get her heart to stop beating so fast, the voices of the others became slurred together. She finally controlled herself and looked up. They were all talking, the three of them. They were talking as it nothing happened. As if that Xweetok had not just killed who knows how many people in the last hour.

To Strips, she answered, "I am but an ordinary Xweetok that underwent some unpleasant circumstances." And then to Shallo she said, "I chipped in a little bit there. Unwillingly, of course."
She looked behind at Azura as she stood and said, "Bit of a scare you got, eh, Missy?" She laughed. "I apologize. Now, if you'll excuse me...."
Lael turned away from them, pulled her arm up and brought it diagonally down. A rip was heard as she did so, and she turned away from the black gap she ripped in time. Before she left, she told them, "Be careful. In a short bit of time, all of this will be gone." She looked at Shallo knowingly and said, "You know, she won't like you being in charge. Just watch. She'll fix things if you don't."
She turned, stepped into the hole, which sealed up as soon as she was inside, and was gone.
((OOOOOooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhh Big RP forshadowing!! XDD Shallo could maybe be remembering that sometime in the big RP, muahahaha. XD))

Strips watched carefully, staring with amazement. None of this seemed real, and he halfway expected to wake up any second now as if this were all some kind of a horrible nightmare.
Be weary of a xweetok with a coiled scar on her left arm, that was easy enough to remember. Though, he highly doubted he would come across this xweetok again, and if he ever did he probably wouldn't pay her the time of day, figuratively speaking.
After the xweetok had disappeared, Strips glanced toward Azura, ears pinning back. "Are you okay?" he asked, concern showing on his face.

Shallo watched her as she dissapeared, curious as to the meaning of her warning. "In charge of what?" he muttered to himself, rubbing his eyes before reaching onto his staff and turning it till he had found the ring he wanted. He didn't care for this place, or these kougra's neither had anyhting useful to him and therefore there was no point sticking around.
He tooka deep breath, trying to gather whatever strength he had left before slipping on the ring and disappearing.
((Ok, Shallo's gone. Couldn't think of anyhtign else to do.))

Azura looked up at him and nodded, "Uh, yeah..." She got up and dusted her pants off with her hands, "Just a little surprised... and freaked out but I'll be fine..." She said and swallowed hard. She looked behind Stripes only to see the Jetsam slip on a ring and then disappear. Azura then shook her head, "I'm... uh, going to go now." She said and shook Stripe's hand, "Nice seeing you again." She said and forced a smile on her face. This was all to weird and crazy. Petpets falling from the sky, Xweetoks killing and then acting innocent, Jetsams disappearing and huge holes being ripped from the air. Her stomach felt queasy, "Yeah... I'm going to go." She said and looked around, trying to figure out where she was before all this started happening.

Strips couldn't help but chuckle. Yeah, this whole thing had been pretty weird, but he found it strangely fun at the same time. Nodding in agreement, he replied, "I think I'll be getting out of here too." He needed to shower so bad; he was covered in blood and it was starting to reek, and the cigarette smoke added to that wasn't helping. He inhaled from the cigarette one last time before throwing it on the ground and stomping it out with his bare foot. "Unless, of course, you need my help," he quickly added.

Azura looked down at the cigarette with a frown, "No, I'm fine..." She said and smiled weakly, "I'm just on my way home... It's not too far from here I don't think..." She said looking down the street, the endless pavement seemed intimidating. "Uh, yeah. I'll be fine... I'll see you soon maybe." She said and smiled more brightly.

Strips half smiled, crossing his arms in a relaxed manner. "Yeah, alright, k. But, well, if ya need anythin', just call....There's a chance I'll hear you." He chuckled, shaking his head. "Ah, anywho, we live right down the street from each other, so if I get home before you do, I'll come lookin' for ya," he finished with a wink. "It was a pleasure running into you again, Azurayet." With a bow at the torso, he turned and slowly began walking down the street, stuffing his hands deep inside his pockets. He still had business to attend to, but he imagined he'd be back home in a day or two.

Azura smiled more warmly now and laughed, "Yeah it was nice seeing you too." She said with the truest sincerity, "I'm sure we'll bump into each other again." She said and nodded as he bowed, "I'll see you then." She said and watched as he swiftly turned and started on his way down the street. The sudden feeling of being alone caught up with her though and she kinda regretted not keeping him around. He would have made things complicated though she told herself and started going her own way out of the scene.
