Omega snorted, but otherwise ignored the hissi. He turned and started off toward where Roni was, having caught sight of the flowers. The scent left him totally baffled, he had never seen their like before. Not that plants particulary interested him. his tail swished lazily as he brought up the question running through his mind, "What are those?"
However, as he stood there, he noticed he was falling asleep. He blinked a few times, trying to place the sudden drowziness on something in the area. The only thing he could figure was the new blue plants.

Dre smiled, hesitating again but then after a moment lifted her left leg. She turned her head to the side, not wanting to know when the needle was going to puncture her skin. She hadn't felt pain in so long, it would seem weird to feel it again but then again she kind of wanted to feel it...

Gand nodded and had Jorm hold Dre's arm just like he had with Omega. Dre's vein was much easier to find since he could see it, and he had no problem injecting the needle. But in the midst of drawing Dre's blood, he felt himself becoming incredibly dizzy. He figured it must have been something he ate, but the feeling just wouldn't go away, even after he shook his head several times in an attempt to shake the feeling away. As the feeling became stronger, he noted that it almost felt like he was being drugged, but he still couldn't tell where it was coming from. Seconds later his eyes were rolling back in his head, both heads actually. Jorm's grip on Dre's arm loosened and finally he let go all together. It didn't take long before they both passed out, and in doing so accidentally caused the needle to break off inside Dre's arm. With their body limp they could no longer use their tailfin to keep them afloat, and slowly started sinking in the water.

Roni couldn't hear Omega's questions. More flowers began to bloom around her and they grew taller, stretching high and arching above her head to form a sort of dome around her. She was deeply comforted by it.
"Thalb'e kor Yue, kōba sa'tohe!" she sang quietly to herself. "The Wind of Life, caress our face! Ueshi'nn keï... furnam ōje Ejafý siin? Tell me please... is there Nowhere for me to go?"

Dre looked down at the needle and at the blood that was slowly staining her dark cyan fur, she could feel it, surprisingly. She wasn't even paying attention to Jormungand until they passed out. She let out a yip as the needle broke off, it hurt fifty times worse now, making the little prick feel like a giant gash. She tried to use her teeth to pull it out with no success and then looked back up. The hissi was slowly fading into the dark waters, she painfully left the needle alone and jumped into the water, using her back feet to propel her toward him. Dre gently grabbed one of the necks in her mouth and started pushing forward again, she wasn't meant for swimming at all and dragging a hissi up with her wasn't helping. It wasn't like she could die again so she wasn't worried about the air but then again the needle was still pulsing in her arm. Pulsing? She broke the surface and pushed the hissi back to the roots, propping their heads up so that they could breath and then resting herself, also feeling tired for the first time in a long time...

Omega had watched drowzily the events of the hissi's faint, but he himself had other problems. Or rather, the same problem. After using his remainging brain power to conclude the flowers were the cause, he had been trying to get as far away from them as possible.
As the grarrl did his best to get away, he lost is balance, and was soon once more sinking into the murky water. It was enough to shock him awake for a moment, in which time he did with grarrls did best in a predicament. The anguish filled roar rang out as he did his best to reach the nearest tree, being weighed down by his chains.

The roar snapped Roni out of her trance. Her eyes opened and she stood to turn toward the source. The Hissi was out cold, and Dre looked pretty tired too, and Omega was... She ran past the drowsy pets, looking for Omega's chains. She found him and focused on a tree. It bent over toward his chains for him to reach.

Omega grasped for the tree, managing to pull himself out of the muck. he muttered a thanks to Roni, but after that lost consiousness. the flowers had done their full toll on the large neopet.

Dre was looking at her front leg again, the needle still painfully stuck in her arm. She faded out and the needle did too but didn't hurt anymore. She looked up at Roni as Omega fainted like Jormungand had earlier. What are you doing? She said furious, getting up and walking over to the flowers, examining them before turning back to Roni with a scowl across her face.

The sound in her head felt like a thousand pin needles jamming their way through her mind. She clutched her head, then turned to Dre. "What are you talking about?" she demanded, feeling strange about talking to someone that didn't reply aloud. It gave her the impression she was talking to herself.

Dre continued to scowl as she shook her head, You made those flowers bloom! She yelled in Roni's head, You almost cause the hissi and Omega to drown! She said, shaking her head. Yeah I know the blood and everything freaked you out but there was no need for that! She continued and sent the shoyru a picture of a battlefield with millions of bleeding bodies covering it. She snorted in disgust and turned around, heading back toward Jormungand before she did something else.

Roni screamed when she saw the bodies. No matter how much she blinked they wouldn't go away. She kept screaming. The earth groaned at her screams, and suddenly around twenty or so thick vines covered in sharp thorns burst from the ground and curved over Dre, folding down on top of her. Roni knew she was a ghost and it wouldn't do anything, but she was too afraid to care.
"Make it stop! Make it stop!" she shrieked. "Please!!!! I'll wake them up! I didn't know! I'm sorry, just make it stop!!!"

Dre wasn't solid so the vines had no effect on her but the screaming did, she had heard screaming so many time that it all sounded the same to her but she did actually stop when Roni screamed. She wasn't sorry for what she did, she didn't feel one bit guilty. Roni was the reason there was a needle stuck in her arm and that she had to go dive in to save Jormungand.... She didn't even look over at Roni when the vines sprung up; she kind of had a clue that Roni had a power when she made the flowers grew so it didn't really surprise her that the nature became upset when Roni was.

She stopped screaming, but the image wouldn't go away. It wasn't that it was still in her vision by Dre's mean, but she couldn't stop thinking about it. She didn't know what was Dre's problem, what she'd done wrong... the flowers were comforting, so why was she being attacked because of them? Trees and plants stood up on end.
