"Well, I would like to destroy this place, preferably now, but I don't think it's going to happen today," she said. "Maybe another day. Right now, we should get back."
She got up and asked, "Can you walk?"
((lol I just had an image of Roni carrying Ix bridal style XDDD))

((XD I don't think he'd let her))
"Uh, I think so," he said, trying to take a step forward. He grimaced as pain ran through his chest. "I guess not as well as I thought, but I'll be alright. Lead the way, princess."

It seemed too cold to leave him to walk on his own, so Roni, ignoring any thought of his pride, put his arm around her shoulder and held his wrist down to keep him from falling. She walked with him down the hallway to the slightly ajar door. When she opened it up, she didn't see a hallway, but rather, she saw open sky.
"Ready?" she asked.

Ix let her prop him on her shoulder and half carry him, but he made a point of doing as much walking as he could. As they came to the door he did wonder why they had a door opening into empty sky but dismissed it as a faerie thing.
"Uh, sure." he replied, looking at the clouds with little enthusiasm.

At that point Roni let go of Ix and stepped forward, plunging down through the clouds, gaining more and more speed the farther she fell. Finally she broke through the last of the clouds and saw that she was above the ocean. Mystery Island was nearby. Her wings spread out carefully so as to not be totally ripped to shreds, slowing her down until they could catch wind and she wasn't falling, but hovering in the air waiting for Ix to come down.

((Ok, do you want him to jump out the door or something? He can't fly, and I know I wouldn't want to do that XD))

Cirxel started shouting a complaint as she shot off, but promptly stopped once he was sure she was out of ear shot. He gripped the door way hard, not exactly willing to let go any moment soon. He was looking down at the clouds below and wondering what was below them. And what Roni was doing leaving him there.
He sighed, staring at the sky for several minutes longer. roni was probably getting worried where ever she was. Eventually he took a deep breath, stepping away from the door for a moment.
Well, she's been saying it was her fault I almost died so amny times today. I guess if she doesn't have some kind of plan it will be this time, he thought, before taking a deep breath and stepping into the empty air.

As soon as Ix stepped off the threshold, the scenery changed. There was solid land two feet under him, and Roni was sitting on the grass under a tree nearby. The castle was nowhere in sight.
"Thirsty?" she asked, pulling a lemonade out of nowhere and handing it to him.

Ix stumbled as he hit the ground, falling to one side and landing clumsily in the grass. At the sight of Roni and the lemonade he groaned, falling back on the grass. "Alright, what's going on now, 'o mistress of magic?" he asked, the hint of humor clearly audible despite the exhausted look on his face. Apparently forcing himself out a door into empty sky was not good for him.

"I'm not doing this," she said simply. "I've no magick over illusions or scenery-bending. But what I can do is spot the right break in them and set them up." She laughed. "We won't be here long. I'd wager about ten more seconds or so. You'd better drink this before then."

"We're not going to fall after that, though, right?" he asked skeptically, sitting up and taking the drink from her, gulping it down quickly. He probably looking like a right mess, sitting in the grass with his shirt open and covered in blood.

"Chances of that are really slim, but it's still probable." The air got thick and she said, "Okay, here it comes."
Suddenly they were underwater. Roni instantly lost her cool, calm and collected demeanor and began to panic as she sank downward. Ix was nearby, but she barely noticed him. She could only see the surface, and it was slipping out of reach. She thrashed around in the waters, trying desperately to get to the surface, but she continued to fail miserably, adding more and more panic to her.

Ix gasped as he found himself surrounded in water the water. A big mistake, as it were. He quickly swam for the surface, sputtering and coughing. As soon as he had his breath back he looked around, somewhat confused to find Roni missing."roni?" he muttered quietly, looking down below him and realizing what must have happened.
Living on Mystery Island had made him a decent swimer, and he took a deep breath and plunced down, squinting through the salt water for the shoyru. His red coloring was enough for him to spot and he quickly swam down to her, grabbing her arm and pulling her to the surface.
As soon as his head broke the surface again he trhust her up next to him, supporting her above the water and cringing at the pain it cost his chest.

Roni coughed up water and gasped for air. "Where am I? Am I still alive?!" She was in such a flurry of terror she hardly knew that Ix was holding her and that she was, in fact, alive, and above the surface.
((bleh, short post... dinnertime, brb))
