((You know what, I think it'd be cuter if they said 'I Love You' during the big rp. So I'm going to change the posts XDD)) It would be good to check up on Lucy, after her random disappearance the day before. Was it really just yesterday she woke up at home and went on this crazy adventure? "Thanks for breakfast," she said, heading for the phone. She dialed Lucy's home phone number and waited. After about four rings, someone picked up the phone. "Hrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmm............... ??" the person on the line groaned. The phone must've woken her up. "Mom? Hey, it's Roni." "Mmmmm, who?" "Roni. Ron-ee-shee-a." She dragged out the syllables for her tired mother to understand. "Oh. Roni." She yawned. "Wha--, whadoyawant? It's like six in the morning." [neopia does not have time zones according to TNT XD] "Mom, I'm on Mystery Island." "Ehhh? How'd you get so..."--yawn--"far away?" "I'll explain later." "Cool... can I call you back?? I'm exhausted." "I apologize for waking you... go back to sleep. I'll call you later, ok?" " 'K.... 'night." "Bye." The phone clicked off, but Roni held it to her ear for a while longer, before putting it back on the receiver. She sighed.

"No problem," Ix managed to reply before Roni started talking with her mom. He was finished with the cleaning by the time she stopped talking.
When she hung up the phone, he walked over, picking it back up. "You can go take a look around if you want. I'm just calling my director."
He dialed the number, watching her out fo the corner of her eye. "Hello?" The voice on the phone sounded snappy and irritated, and Ix flinched. Dan had probably been up all night the past two night dealing with his disappearance. "Uh, hey Dan. It's Cirxel." "IX? Where the hell are you?!?" "Well, Mystery Island actually. Me and one of the audience got kidnapped by faeries." "Kidnapped by faeries? Stop pulling my leg, Ix." "I'm not, sir. I'm dead serious." Ix could hear Dan tapping his desk on the other side of the line. "Just get back here as soon as you can. We'll discuss this later." "Alright Dan. I'll let you know when to expect me." "Just get back over here." Cirxel took that as goodbye, hanging up the phone.
((Ok, I'm totally done with this RP, and I'm really lazy and can't think of a way to end this post. Sorry.))

While Ix was on the phone, Roni sat at the table and thought briefly about what she was going to do. Lucy would probably want her home as soon as possible...
It sounded like Ix was going to have to leave soon, too. She sighed and stood up, turning to him. He hung up and she said, "I think I'm going to have to go home today. I don't want to, but..."

Ix shrugged. "It's no problem with me. They probably going to deduct the time I'm gone from my salary anyway, so I have no qualms with getting back sooner. I'm going to head back to my place ad pack some stuff for the trip there, then I'll call the harbor and see if we can get on any ship leaving today for Shenkuu. It shouldn't be too hard."
He headed for the door leading back outside, glancing over at the clock on his way out.
(So, doy ou mind if we timeskip soon. I'm seriously having issues finishing this RP XD)).

((Lol, just hang tight for a second. XD))
Roni nodded, somewhat absentmindedly, and made her way outside and back to Ix's house. Once they were inside, Roni gathered everything that was hers and stuffed it in a plastic bag.
It turned out the next ferry or ship leaving Mystery Island to go anyplace was delayed till noon due to some sort of freak accident with the weather.
It was around ten when she called Lucy back.
Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring.
"Come on," she murmured. "Pick up."
Finally the phone was answered, but it wasn't Lucy calling. "HELLO?!" the person, a girl, shouted into the phone. Roni had to hold the phone away from her ear for a moment.
"Um, hello, this is Ronyshia... can I please speak to Lucy?"
"RONI??! OH THANK GOD. PLEASE, YOU NEED TO COME HOME QUICK. ARATHYNE'S HAVING SOME KIND OF BREAKDOWN."
It took awhile to process this due to the shouting. Obviously whoever was calling didn't seem to know how to use a phone. "What's wrong with Ara?" she asked finally. "Is Lucy okay? What happened? Who is this??"
"I'M TORI. I'M TAKING OVER FOR ARATHYNE RIGHT NOW, BUT IT'S GETTING REALLY HARD TO STAY AWAKE. PLEASE HURRY UP, SHE KEEPS ASKING FOR YOU."
"Lucy?!?" Roni repeated. "Is Lucy okay? The human!"
"OH, THE HUMAN??!? YEAH, SHE'S UNCONSCIOUS. YOU BETTER GET HERE NOW. WE'LL HOLD OFF WHATEVER'S INVADING ARATHYNE... WE THINK THEY'RE CALLING THEMSELVES THE REKAH OR SOMETHING."
Roni didn't have time to ask this "Tori" who "they" or "we" were; the line went dead. What the hell was the Rekah? Why would they have any business poking around in Ara's head? And Lucy is unconscious...? Why?
She couldn't wait for some stupid boat. "I'm going to have to fly," she murmured. She looked at Ix and, suddenly very formal again, said, "I apologize, but I have to leave right now. It's an emergency. Thank you so much for your hospitality and I am terribly sorry for the trouble I caused you." What an understatement... she almost got the poor man killed! "I hope to see you again soon."
She was certain Ix was able to hear every part of the conversation; Tori was speaking so loud Roni had to hold the phone almost arm's length away and could still hear her fine. But it didn't matter; Ix didn't understand any of it, he didn't need to understand a word of it, and there was no time for explanations.
((Now he can just see her to the door and be like wtf... who's the rekah?))

Cirxel had been packing what was left of his costume and putting the new rapier away when Roni called, and as the yelling went on his eyeborws rose. When the line went dead and Roni started apologizing he ran his hand through his hair, shaking hsi head.
"You really do lead an interesting life. And don't worry about it, I realize you have to get back. Hold on one second though. You can't go flying anywhere in that shirt." He went over to the dresser, pulling a pair of scissors out of a drawer and carefully cutting slits in the back of the shirt for her.
"You'd better get going, and maybe I'll see you again next time I'm in Shenkuu."

Roni had almost completely forgotten the shirt over her wings. She fed them through the holes Ix cut out for her and murmured another quick thank-you. Something wasn't right... and she could feel it in the air. A sort of bizarre scent.
"Maybe." She smiled, and had a strange feeling of finality, like something would end very soon. Hoping it didn't affect Ix, she didn't take any chances, and wrapped her arms around his neck to kiss him one more time. She pulled back quickly and said, "I will see you soon." She smiled again, and turned around to leave. Once outside, she took a deep breath, and then took flight. She forced herself to not look back; she might not leave if she did.
Gripping her plastic sack of things in her hand, Roni flew on northeast, with the winds, to Shenkuu. Soon Mystery Island was gone and out of view, and she was above the clouds. What was this sinking feeling in her stomach? The air was full of static electricity the higher she flew; it caught in her hair and rippled through her for almost an hour until it made her sick. Slowly, she declined, and found, to her relief, land under her. Around five feet above the ground, weary with exhaustion, she gave up and fell. She barely felt the hit to her shoulder, on which she landed. She blacked out.
She must've been on one of the many islands between Mystery Island and Shenkuu. When she woke up, the sun told her it was around seven. It hung low in the sky and she weakly stood and dusted herself off. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted something that looked like a tall building. Curiously, she turned to look at it full on. There was nothing there. She tried looking out her peripherals again, and the structure was back. At any other angle, it vanished from sight.
Though her fingers itched with curiosity and every nerve in her wanted desperately for her to go investigate, her head reminded her that there simply was no time. Lucy might still be unconscious, and obviously Ara was if someone else was awake. As she took flight again, careful to not go up too high, she hoped that the wrong person wouldn't wake up before she got there. Who the hell was 'the Rekah' and what business did they think they had in invading Arathyne's head?
Was Lucy still alive? She shivered and shielded her mind from all thought as she flew on, focusing intently on her destination, which came quickly into view within two hours. The buildings of Shenkuu rose up before her. She flew above it until she found the house off the main path of everything, where Lucy and Ara possibly lay inside. She landed and touched the doorknob; the shock from all the gathered electricity knocked her out cold.

((I'm intrigued what you have in store for everyone. If it needs Ara, a mysterious building, and loads of electricity, it's gotta be big ^^.))
Ix leaned back on the railing of the deck, watching the sky even though he knew he wouldn't see her. Roni left nearly 2 hours before,a nd she was flying, she'd be nowhere near them. One of the other passengers walked down the rail next to him, looking worried and aggreived. He didn't bother asked them what was wrong, but turned his thought back toward the sky and sea ahead.
Ix sighed, brushing his hair out of his face as the Lenny walked past him for the fifth time in the past ten minutes. And he wasn't the only one who was getting irritated. "Kendell, sit down, won't you. There's nothing wrong," someone scolded, probably travelling with this Kendell. The lenny shook his head, feathers on end, but went over to hover around the person. "No, something's really wrong, Lisa. I just can't figure out what it is. It's in the air, you know."
Ix got off the rail, heading for one fo the benches on the other side of the boat, hoping this would be a short ride. And that this paranoid lenny was wrong.
((I'm done, so if you have nother more to add I shall conclude this finished.))

((I'll finish this up then. ^_^))
When Roni woke up again, she was inside the house, on Lucy's red couch. The girl was standing over her, worried. As soon as the Shoyru opened her eyes, Lucy sighed in relief.
"Oh thank god!" she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around Roni, getting only mildly shocked.
"Lucy? What happened? I thought you were unconscious."
"I was, for awhile. One minute Ara comes downstairs complaining about a headache, and the next she's knocking me to the floor. I woke up about an hour ago and found her. Someone named Tori told me they were fighting off the Rekah, or whatever."
"Yeah," Roni murmured. "The Rekah invaded her mind or something. I called and Tori told me that over the phone, and that I needed to come as soon as I could. Is everything okay now?"
Lucy nodded. "Apparently they got rid of it, and put Ara back in charge. She's sleeping upstairs, but everyone else in her head are on high alert in case of another attack."
"I just want to know who the Rekah is and what they could possibly want with her."
"I do too. But nobody seems to know anything. It's frustrating and a bit scary. I called Trei on her cell twenty minutes ago; she'll be heading here tomorrow from wherever she is."
There was a long pause, and then Roni said quietly, "You should try to get ahold of Vi. She'll be concerned and want to help."
Lucy looked away. "I did try," she whispered after a while, tears growing in her eyes. "But her cell's long been disconnected and I have no other way to contact her... I haven't got a clue as to where she might be. I haven't seen her in years."
Another long silence... Roni checked the clock to see it was nearing midnight. She helped Lucy get to bed and found herself once again in her own rarely-used bedroom. Changing her mind quickly, Roni took a pillow and a blanket and spent the night at the foot of Ara's bed. Just in case.
Miles away, on an island in the Neopian Sea, a strange-looking creature appeared. It looked rather like an Acara, but when one looked closer, they saw it had the teeth, claws, and tail of a Grarrl. The creature eyed a small alien object nearby, and walked over to closer examine it. It was a plastic bag, and upon opening, contained wet, sandy, and slightly torn clothing; clothing that did not look cheap otherwise. Suspicious, the creature decided against taking back the bag full of clothes, until a somewhat familiar scent caught its attention.
The creature looked into the bag again, and found blood on some of the clothes. Blood that smelled different from other kinds of blood it had smelled.
Royal blood. Ancient blood.
Oh, they'd want to see this. Grinning wickedly, baring every sharp incisor, the creature collected the bag and returned to the building that no one could see with it in hand. The creature would get one nice reward for this treasure.
[[THE END]]
