"Okay," she said, following him. "Lead the way." She'd been all over Mystery Island plenty of times, but she was so tired right now she barely knew up from down.

Cirxel nodded, trudging up through the sand until he found the path that lead toward the jungle. As they neared the more populated sections of town a few people stopped to stare at the pair, other to give Cirxel a joking gaze and quick greeting. Most of these he replied to with a polite comment, and as they neared closer to the jungle they met less and less people on the road.
Eventually a fence came into view, and he walked through the gate without hesitating. In front of them was a large plot of land with several small houses on it, the largest looming from the more mountainous land to the north. In the center of the arrangement was another large communial building, paths leading from it to the other houses.
Cirxel stopped, grinning and turning to Roni. "Well, this is it....Do you want to eat first, or shower and rest a bit?" he asked, trying to track down any movement in the various buildings.

Roni followed him silently, a dead expression on her face. She at first didn't respond when he spoke, but then she mumbled, "Sleep." Her stomach and the shower could wait. She'd probably fall asleep in her food, or in the shower and drown.

"Alright. Just give me a minute to go get my key," he said, striding toward the main building. As he came to the door he opened the case with their code box, typing in the code to enter.
The light glared a negative orange. Cirxel sighed, typing it in twice more with the same result. He glanced back at Roni before stalking toward the eastern most building, knocking on the door.
A slender light blue lupess opened, looking obviously surprised. "Cirxel?!? You look terrible!" "Thanks, Li. Did you change the code again?" The lupess looked past him to the door, nodding as she brushed her lavender hair form her face. "Yeah. It's 3774. But I moved the keys, too, so I'd better show you where those are." "Really. Well, that'd be great."
Cirxel stood aside as she yelled something back to Kuan who must be lurking about that he was back and what she was doing. She walked past him, her tail swishing behind her. She was wearing shorts so the metal brace on her left leg was catching the sunlight with her limping.
Cirxel brushed his hair from his face, sighing with exhaustion and gesturing Roni towards the door.

Roni followed him wearily, barely caring that the lupess didn't seem to notice her. Oh well, it wasn't like she wanted anything more than sleep, food, a shower and to go home after that. She mustered up enough of her remaining strength to ask Ix, "So, um... what's with all the high-tech security?"

Lilah snorted as she opened the door, turning to catch sight of the girl and sending Cirxel an interested look before darting into the kitchen.
He gave a small laugh, "It's not all that hightech. The girl who owns this place, Jukebox, isn't too fond of keys. She thinks it's easier just to type in the code." he answered quickly before following Lilah so he could catch sight of where she had stached the keys. She was just replacing the box in one of the cabinets with his in hand when he got there.
He slipped back out as she exitedpast him, handing it off, and giving Roni another thourough looking over before stalking back to her own building.
"Not that any security we have is tight enough for Lilah. She gets pretty paranoid like that. That's why she always moves everything and changed the code." while he was saying this he was walking toward one fo the western buildings, and he stopped at the door to struggle the key into place.

"Hm." Roni wasn't really listening; all she could hear was the dull sound of her own feet dragging along with each step. Why was she so exhausted...She'd used a lot of magick today.
"So where's a place I can crash?" she asked, too tired to be surprised by her use of the word 'crash'.

"In here. You can use my bed." Cirxel answered as he finally managed to get the door open, and went inside ahead of her.
The building was only really two rooms, a large room that acted as sitting room and bedroom and a bathroom. The main room was covered with quotes and photos from various plays. there was also a rather expansive bookshelf covered in classic literature and plays. Next to that was a large couch and there was a dresser near the bed.
"Well, this is home." he said, kicking off his shoes in the doorway and heading for the dresser. He pulled out a t-shirt and some sweatpants, tossing them into the bathroom.
"I'm going to take a shower, the bed's right there. If you wake up and need anyhting I'll just be on the couch."

"Thank you," she said emphatically, plopping down onto the bed and falling to sleep instantly. She slept hard for five hours; when she woke up it was dark outside. She yawned and rubbed her eyes, still feeling like she hadn't gotten any sleep at all.
Groggily, she flung out of bed, feeling like she was drugged. Her hair was full of salt and her body was exhausted from using so much excess power the day before. She saw Ix sleeping on the couch and quietly slogged over to the dresser to get some clean clothes. Carrying a t-shirt that was too big for her and a pair of gray sweatpants with her into the bathroom, she locked the door and turned on the shower.
While waiting for the water to warm up, she found two towels and a washcloth to put by the door, and checked to make sure there was soap, and shampoo that didn't contain anything weird that might cause some allergic reaction. Finally she undressed, checked the water, and then looked in the mirror. Her eyes were bloodshot, her hair a mess, and she looked like she'd gone through hell and back. She sighed and got in, letting the hot water beat down on her aching body.

Cirxel woke partially from the sound of the water running, and he stared at the ceiling for a few moments trying to figure out what it was. Eventually his drozy mind revealed it to him and he leaned forward enough to see the light filtering from under the door. He glanced toward the empty sandy bed before falling back against the cushions and falling asleep.

She finished washing up and put her hair up in a towel after she dressed. She walked out of the bathroom, taking her salty clothes and putting them into a pile. She'd deal with them later, no matter how uncourteous it was to leave them on someone else's floor. At this moment she could care less. She yawned and looked around for something to eat.

Cirxel woke again at the sound of the door opening, apparently he hadn't been in as deep a sleep as he hoped. He caught sight of Roni, dozily noting the clothes she was wearing.
"Looking for something?" he asked, sitting up and leaning on the back of the couch while brushing his hair out of his face.

"Yeah, I'm a little hungry," she murmured, realizing Ix was awake. Then, pointing shyly at the fridge, asked, "Do you, um, mind if I...?" She didn't want to just open his fridge and look through his cupboards; that would be a level of rudeness she could not bring herself down to.
"Yeah, I'm a little hungry," she murmured, realizing Ix was awake. Shyly, she asked, "Ummm... Where is the food?"

((...He doesn't have a fridge...I was about to explain that.))
Cirxel sat up, stretching and scratching behind his ears. "I don't keep food in here. I'm gone too often for that. I was actually intending to be on tour for another couple months before coming back."
He stiffled a yawn, standing up and digging around for a pair of shoes.
"As far as I know there should be food in the kitchen," he said, pointing outside toward the main building. "What time is it anyway?" he asked, kneeling on the floor to fish a pair of shoes out from under his dresser.

"I haven't got a clue," she answered, then asked, "Are you going to come to the kitchen with me?" She felt a little self-conscious about walking over and just using his own kitchen, and she certainly wouldn't search through his fridge and cupboards without permission.
