What was happening? What was going on? He could feel his heart pumping. He couldn't turn back now. What was he going to do? He knew he couldn't stay here. He had to get away. But where could he go? He had money and a sword, thats all he knew. But his body, he was so recognizable. He had to get rid of this suite. He was dressed in all black ninja suite type of clothing. He had to get out of these. He ran to the nearest store and put away as much of the money as he could. He walked in there and found a pair of blue jeans and a T-shirt and a hat for shoyru's to wear. He payed for his clothes and went straight for a bathroom and changed. He took off the suite and then tried to pack all the money into his new pant pockets and into the sheath of his sword.
He stepped out of the bathroom. He had a pair of jeans on with bulging pockets, a black shirt with "Snagglemon" on the front of it, some sort of new game that was out, and a black cap on. He had a very large sword and in a sheath on his back. The sword was sticking out just a bit because he had shoved tons of money in there. He had to get to a bank now.
He walked into a bank where no one was, he acted as calm as he could. He went up to the bank teller and said he wanted to open a bank account. He told him all his information, he couldn't get away with a fake name at the moment. He just had to get in and out. He told him his name was Miztirugi and that he wanted to open a simple bank account with them. He was 18 years old, on the run and had millions of dollars on him. The man said everything was ready and he needed a deposit to finish the transaction. Zuri stood up and emptied his pockets and his and everywhere else, leaving most of the money in his sheath.
The man was astonished. Zuri just merely laughed and said he never believed in banks and that he saved it all up at home and finally thought it'd be best to finally put it here. He figured he had to much at home to keep it all safe. The man nearly snickered in fear and said he would. He put it into a money counter and it rang up at $569.138.124. The man just stared at the number and said he would put it in. He seemed to afraid to ask Zuri where he got it all or where he worked. Zuri was truthfully happy he didn't' and after that was finished he left again. He was afraid it would of been to much or he would of been asked questions.
After leaving there Zuri spread his wings and took off. He flew as fast as he could from there. The main city wasn't somewhere he wanted to be. He needed to get out of there. His big red dragon like body was to recognizable from there. He was 6' 4" and was far to recognizable from there. He was feeling to threatened anywhere he went. He had to go, he had to leave society for awhile. The people were after him, he was in so much deep trouble. He knew stealing all this money would cause a big threat to him. After the deal went wrong he had to go, he had to get somewhere where no one recognized him or could find someone that did.
He flew for what seemed like hours. He flew straight out into the ocean as soon as he could find it. He had to get to a deserted island or something. Somewhere where he couldn't be seen. Somewhere where he could hide for awhile.
Eventually he came up on an island full of trees as far as he could see. He came in far to fast and was hit by a stray tree limb. He went flying down into the trees and hit the ground. He made a large impact into the ground causing a big ruckus as he hit. He laid there, going in and out of conscienceness. Finally he just laid there and slept.

A speck of brown was all he could see through the thick luscious forest. Silence consumed the area, and all he could hear was the sound of his own breath being released, and the soft crunch of dead leaves in the distance. Amidst the silence, the air was chilled - it was just cold enough for the Draeth to see a gray cloud leave his body as he slowly exhaled. Through his coal black fur coat, a bit of cold didn't matter, not yet. It would be later in the season, when snow began piling up, that all felines would be in trouble. Cold wasn't their element; they could tolerate it on a mild extend, but wolves truly had the advantage. Luckily for this Draeth, it wasn't quite cold enough for trees to completely loose their leaves.
At the Draeth's side he carried a bow, with one hand pulling back on the string. Cautiously he raised the bow and aimed it, blood red eyes still locked on his target. He was just getting ready to release a deadly arrow when a loud and sudden CRASH echoed through the forest; all he could do was watch his deer gallop away in fear.
"God fucking damnit!" In eight hours, that had been the only deer he had seen. If he didn't bring home dinner tonight for his squad he was screwed; they'd chew him up and spit him out... again. "Mother of god fucking damnit!!" Any noise he was making now would just scare the rest of the animals away, but he didn't think of it like that. Throwing down his bow, it was clear this guy had a serious anger problem; he bent the hell out of that poor bow, but he didn't care.
It took him a few minutes before he finally began breathing again; he calming picked up his bow and left to investigate. At first he discovered nothing, but then off the in the distance he saw...something....something red. He walked closer, and nearly gasped. What the hell was it? It resembled him, surprisingly. They both had the same bat-like wings, even had similar spikes. The only thing was, the hunter was feline, and this guy was.... what? Dragon? That was impossible.
The bat-like panther bend down, hesitantly nudging the new creature. No response. The hunter knew this was a rare find, and knew he had to take the man back to base before some other canine fiend happened upon his body. Dead of alive, the felines would want to examine this.
The hunter was nearly six foot four, weighed two-hundred and fifty pounds of pure muscle, and even he had a hard time hauling this guy over his bare shoulder. Draeth didn't wear much clothes, not unless they were in battle, and then all they wore was their armor. But where they came from, everything was set in the passed; you could almost imagine Indian style clothing for them.
It was only a thirty minute walk back to base, a very small base with basic (harhar) tents set up in a large circle. The surrounding area was virtually empty, only the troop’s medic was there - the hunter found him in one of the tents further back.
The medic had a similar reaction when first laying eyes on the dragon-like creature, but Jaserik hardly got two words out before he was shoo'd from the tent and told to return in a few hours. He could only assume his 'find' was getting medical treatment.

Zuri was unconscience for most of what went on. He would come in and out of his daze and only hear mumbled words and see these strange creatures standing around him. He couldn't really feel anything and was unaware of what really went on. What could be happening.
Eventually Zuri came around and found himself laying down in some sort of tent. The sun was shining through and he could make out what seemed like skinned animal blankets and what seemed like bandages around his wings and chest. He tried to move and growned in pain.
"Ah, damn it to fucking hell. What happned?" Zuri said as he tried to move and tried to think back to what happened. "Damn me to hell." He laid his head back. "Thats what I get for flying in to fast." Zuri was remembering now what happened. He didn't really know where he was at or why he did what he did. Sometimes one could say that Zuri isn't to bright when he's in a hurry, and a bit on the ignorant side.

The medic attending Zuri looked over as soon as he muttered. Raising a perplexed eyebrow, he stepped toward the dragon-like creature. And, placing a gentle hand on Zuri's shoulder, he laid him back slowly while simultaneously reaching his other hand to reposition the feather-stuffed pillow under Zuri's head. "You don't want to move, trust me." He spoke softly, yet at the same time in a tone that showed absolutely no compassion - no emotion even. "You could have possibly fractured your wing or cracked a rib." Not like he would know, scientific knowledge of medicine completely tanked in this day of age.
The Draeth was abnormal for his species, average hight, but had a very thin, frail frame. He was thin in a way that he looked anorexic, probably due to the lack of food and malnutrition caused by the war. His bones were bridled, and caused his back to hunch. His muscles were weak, and caused his hands to shake. Yet he was the only medical officer at the camp - this was just the way things were. Times were hard, but life had to go on somehow.
"So what's your name boy?" The medic asked calmingly, drawing a stool toward the dragon's cot. "Where you from?"

Zuri laid there and tried to remember. He was thinking and finally came to hiim.
"My name is Miztirugi, but most call me Zuri. Where I'm from?"
Zuri had to think on that one. He remembered flying from a town and landing here. So this had to be some sort of Island. But to him they looked like Darigans.
"I'm from...." Zuri almost said he was from a base in Neopia, then he thought it best not to give away where exactly he was from so he thought of another place. "Shenkuu. I'm from the main land and in a town named Shenkuu. Where am I at should be the real question. Where am I? Darigan? You certainly look like one."
Zuri was a bit dazed still and didn't think he landed in Darign but, its was a possibility, or this could be a base on an island for Darigan. He wasn't sure but that was his best guess.

The medic simply laughed out loud, "Boy, you must be crazy, there's no place called Shenkuu around here, and Darigan? How can I look like a place?" He was confused by the fact that Zuri asked if he was on Darigan, and then said he looked the like place he had just named. The only fact that made the man take into consideration what Zuri asked was the fact that he had wings, and he obviously wasn't from around here. However, the man no longer wished to get involved in this situation. You wouldn't think it, but any conversation with an outsider was dangerous, there was just no way of telling what their enemy was capable of. He wouldn't put it passed them to create a wolf in a dragon's body, so to speak, knowing all Draeth would be interested in him.
"Jaserik!" He called out tent flaps. Low and behold a few seconds later a tall, muscular Draeth ducked to enter the tent.
"Yes sir?" His voice sounded deep and raspy, but similarly unemotional as the medic's.
"Your dragon's awake, thought you'd like to speak to him before your father returned." And with that, the shriveled man left.
At least the medic understood Jaserik's position, and he was grateful he had called him back into the tent. If he hadn't now, Jaserik would have never been allowed the chance to question his find once the chief had returned. The thought absolutely sickened him - his father, the chief, how he loathed him.
Jaserik took a seat on the stool the medic had used, and leaned close to the bed. It was obvious he was curious, although he tried to hide it. "So you're a dragon huh?" He had never seen one, not like he would know.

"Dragon" Zuri thought. Technically he considered himself to be the second closest species to a dragon but he wasn't exactly a dragon.
"I guess you could say that." Zuri said as he gave this feline a questioning look. "I'm obviously not in Darigan since that last guy was confused as hell to what I said. I wonder where I am then. This cat like thing would be considered a Darigan in my book but, I guess they look a bit less vicious, and more like kougras with wings." Zuri thought to himself.
"Ok, so what are you then? I gave my guess and was mocked so yeah. The hell." Zuri asked this person. "Oh, and the names Zuri. You?"
Zuri then looked over this creature while he waited for his response. "This isn't exactly modern here either. It looks like old time Indian type of clothing. I'm gonna stick out like a sore thumb in my clothing. I best change when I get a chance." Zuri thought quickly to himself.

It was no surprise Zuri thought these people were Darigan, they had a similar exterior. Both Draeth and Darigan had wings, spikes running down their backs, and a cold expression. They may not have seemed as vicious, but they could certainly act it, and the only difference between them was that Darigans came in shades of red and purple. Draeth were a solid black color, and Darigans could come in many colors with the exception of black.
"You guess you're a dragon?" That statement told the Draeth that this man didn't actually consider himself to be a dragon. But if that was the case, what was he? No matter, it had been a redundant statement and the Draeth went right along answer the man's questions. "My name is Jaserik, and we are the Draeth. Definitely not from around here are you? You're lucky I found you before....someone else did." He paused, looking like he had something to hide, and didn't say anything further.

Zuri cocked his eye brow and just went along with it. He had never heard of the Draeth before. He knew alot about where he came from but, there were several different things that no one ever knew about. He figured he had found a new place, somewhere never seen or visited by anyother before.
"Well I guess I'll have to play it cool. Somehow have to pretend I don't remember much about where I was from or something. Or atleast lead on very little to what is there. Great, not only am I on the run, now I have to play dumb." Zuri thought to himself as he began to stress out over what he had done.
"Haaaa, yeah. Ok. Nice to meet you. I guess I owe you a thanks for saving my hide back there. The way it seems out here, it seems best I was saved by you." Zuri said to this Jaserik fellow. Zuri felt as if he was being examined like a piece of meat. This creature obviously had never seen anything like him before.
"What am I gonna do? I guess I can hide out here for now. It seems like I'll be safe here for awhile, but I do need to keep moving and get back to my own world." Zuri thought to himself.

"Not only a thank you but a deer as well," Jaserik replied half sarcastically and half seriously. He would be in so much freaking trouble when the others returned. It didn't even matter that he had brought Zuri back to them, if anything they would question the stranger like an outsider, and then blame him for bringing it here. He was just fucked no matter how you looked at it, but his better nature wasn't going to allow fiendish dogs to capture Zuri first.
"Jaserik!" A loud voice boomed angrily from outside the tent.
"Wish me luck" the Draeth muttered, half sarcastically and half seriously. He stood tall as he exited the tent.
"Jaserik! Imal told me you did not bring back food from your hunt, is this true?!" The same voice barked.
"Yes Sir." Jaserik's voice held no emotion, no fear, and no regret. Even as this man, this supposed leader was getting in his face and screaming at him, he held his ground; he did not move, he did not blink.
"How could you allow your people to starve?! Don't you care about them?!"
"Yes sir."
"You'd better have a good excuse boy!" About this time both men were on the verge of becoming violent, it was just a matter of who would break first.
"Nothing is ever good enough for you, sir." Jaserik now replied with a mischievous grin and narrowed eyes. He knew that would set the chief off, but he didn't care. Any opportunity he had to say things like that he'd take it.
You could see it coming before it happened, the chief's fist cracking against the side of Jaserik's face with suck a force that it knocked the Draeth onto the ground. If he had been in charge of any other platoon he would have been punished for assaulting a fellow officer, but the Draeth had no rules, and therefore he could get away with anything. "You, Jaserik, are banned from eating dinner for the next week." And with a deep growl, he turned and stormed off.
Jaserik merely rolled his eyes and stood. The medic had been nearby watching, but had done nothing, of course. "Did you tell him about my other find?"
"Not yet, I figured I'd let you do that."
Jaserik smirked, "Like that's going to happen." He turned and re-entered the tent, sat down beside Zuri again and gave a smirk, "hungry?"

Zuri was slightly freaked out by what had just happened, but was at the same time used to it. He's seem men get their arms or heads cut off for less. He felt as if he was back to where he just escaped from.
"yeah, I am a bit." Zuri said as he grunted as he sat up. He felt the need to prove he wasn't useless. That he wasn't just going to waist space.
"Shall we go get it?" Zuri asked. He was going to prove that he wasn't just going to lay there and do nothing. That he could push passed the pain and do what was needed. He was raised to show respect and push passed the problems in his way. He wasn't going to be pushed around like Jaserik was. He was trained to show respect, but the same time, he wasn't under anyone any more. He was the guest, and he was going to act as such, but at the same time, he had to prove that he wasn't going to be pushed around like some outsider using up supplies.

"Well, I'll show you to the chef's pot, can't really eat with you but ah well." He didn't care, a week of not having food would hurt his team more than it would hurt him, especially when he'd be too weak to fight. If anything he would not eat just to prove their stupidity. The camp was busy now, all the troops had returned from scouting, and as they walked through the camp, they received stares of amazement. And it was only a matter of time before.....
"Jaserik!" That same voice from before screamed. Within seconds, a tall Draeth that looked very similar to Jaserik stormed up to them. "What the hell is this and why the fuck didn't you tell me about it?!"
"This is the reason I didn't catch dinner, and you never gave me the chance....sir." Jaserik's tone was now harsh, defensive, and you could tell he only added the 'sir' because he was forced to.

Zuri felt like a piece of meat. Everyone stared at him like a freak. What was he to do. It was obvious now. He was an unknown species in an unknown time. He felt like he some how managed to hit a time warp and go far back in time.
"Uh, Hi. "This!" Zuri said harshly. "is Zuri thankyou very much." Zuri said sternly. He had to prove that he wasn't going to be a thing or pushed around. "I'm obviously not from around here, and though I may be a guest I ask that I be treated as much Sir. I am not entirely sure as to where I am but I know I am here an that this guy here saved me." Zuri might be pushing his limits, but as a 18 year old kid, and to where he came from, he acted a bit rash sometimes. He wanted them to know he was here and he wasn't just a thing but a creature of his own, and demanded to be treated as a person and not a thing.
"Now, I ask what your name is sir. I see you are of high ranking around here and I should treat you as such. My name is Miztirugi, or Zuri for short sir. What may I ask is yours?" Zuri asked this gentleman standing in front of him. He acted as if this man was his own father, whom he hated but was forced to treat with respect.

The Draeth merely narrowed his eyes while simultaneously bringing his face within centimeters of Zuri's. He lowered his voice so no one but the three of them could hear him and replied, "Listen here you little prick, I don't owe you anything. You are not a guest here, as far as I'm concerned you're a traitor, and you'll be treated as suck until I'm proven otherwise." He took a step back now and looked sternly toward Jaserik. "Jaserik, rope this thing's hands behind it's back and take it to the king, and god help you if it escapes, because I swear to god your head will be on my mantle!"
Jaserik at first narrowed his eyes, he considered protesting, especially the part about roping Zuri, but at the same time wasn't going to get into any more trouble than what he was already in. Rather, he merely ducked his head with his ears pinned straight back. "Yes sir," he replied loudly.

Zuri gave him a stern look back. He wasn't afraid of this guy. He has knives, guns, swords, and the like held up to his neck, all he had to do was keep his cool. Zuri had an unstable personallity and he wasn't about to let it get the best of him right now. He just turned his back to him and put his hands behind his back. He knew how to escape, or atleast deal with it till need be. He just merely whispered to Jaserik.
"Whats that guys problem? I'd hate to have to listen to him when on duty." Zuri kinda felt back for this guy. He had to deal with him all the time. Zuri just had to deal with him until they got out of town and he could relax again.
