Rasi pushed the girl off of him, "Me? What's wrong with you?!?!" He growled thinking that she was talking to him. He started following her, "I don't know why your here but I --" He saw about ten other people cut and sliced at ever other joint in their bodies. He looked at Vi who was throwing water at a xweetok who had evil written all over her face. In a flash the water that Vi was throwing solidified and turned into arrow-like things, heading straight for the faerie xweetok.

I tore my hand away right when she let go, "Hey that hu-" I stopped thinking for a moment. "Holly shit this ain't a dream!" I realized standing up and going back to the bars of the cell, "HEEEEEEEY!!" I called, an echo came back, "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOO!" I called again, reality hitting me harder and harder with each echoing call.

Vi didn't even see Rasi. All she could do was focus on was hitting Ara, but to her dismay nearly all her attacks were failing. "Damn it!" she shouted. She raised her arms and brought them down, a stream of water flying straight at her sister, who tripped and fell. Out of nowhere, the earth cracked where Ara was, trailing back to an angry-looking princess. Vi looked at her. "Roni," she muttered in disbelief.
Ara glared at Roni, who yelled, "Get out of Arathyne's body, you demon!" She waved her arms around in a semicircle and the road rippled under everybody's feet. Arathyne flew up in the air, then took flight with her until-now forgotten wings.
The Xweetok eyed Rasi suddenly. The white-hot invisible arms flew out of her eyes and gripped him by the neck, raising him high in the air before dropping him.
"RASI!" cried Vi, finally noticing him. She shot up a bank of water that caught him and brought him gently to the ground. She turned to Ara again. "Leave everybody alone, you stupid bitch!" she yelled.

Gorrio dodged Rasi, rain creating drops on his visor. He had already caught sight of the xweetok, and his crest was lying flat as his muscles tensed, bolts and sparks flew all about him, but he wasn't sure what to do...

The strong smell of blood was enoug to catch Shallo's attention away from the lightpost. He turned, and instantly started a hissinggrowl in the back of his throat. That xweetok from before! he thought, looking over all the damage she had done. Before long he had caught up with events, watching the shoyru and bori launching the ice arrows at the faerie. Shallo glanced around, catching sight of the glowing hissi nearby, throwing off sparks. He called out to him, grabbing hold the lampost.
"Hissi, shoot a bolt of your lightning at her!" he shouted, blue sparks darted around his hand as the lamppost started glowing.

Gorrio looked up, hearing the voice calling him and instantly listened, acting mnore out of fear than anyhting. His own green electicity merged with blue from some way off, the crackling thunder that folowed almost deafening. The comined bolts raced toward the faerie, going crazy in the wet air.

Rasi looked at Vi with confusion and then looked up at the Xweetok who was getting away. Rasi concentrated and froze the small wings of the faerie, a smile spreading across his face. They were already wet from the water Vi had used to it wasn't that hard plus all this extra power he seemed to have accumulated. He kinda liked it besides the mass of snow that kept forming around him because of the rain.

Cera blinked and Dre was gone, "That was weird..." She said to Lue who shook his head in agreement. She looked around for Rasi but found Azura instead. "Hey where's Rasi?" She asked looking around but more people had formed around even more bodies.
Lue stared at the bodies, his head and stomach hurting more. "Something definitely is going wrong here..." He said clutching his stomach.
Azura shrugged to Cera's question and turned to Lue, "Something definitely is wrong with you..." She said going to Lue and relieving Cera from supporting him.
Lue put his arm around Azura, "I don't know what... I think I got some virus or something in this weather..." He said looking up at the falling rain.

Ara was not only falling because her delicate wings were frozen, but she was screaming a bloodcurdling scream due to the electric shock jolting through her body. She managed to send the arms out enough to reach the ground and slow her fall, but she was too weak and hit the ground. Her head smashed into the asphalt, and her eyes closed for half a second.
When they opened, she was lying in the middle of Neopia Central Town Square, with an aching head and eyes and a bunch of people looking at her funny. She saw Vi, and Roni with the most angry look she'd ever seen on her, and she saw a Christmas Bori with a bloody handprint around his neck and bodies everywhere. She sat up, eyes wide.
"Wha--what's happening? What's going on?!" she cried.

Phyn glanced outside, catching the brilliant green and blue light. She hurried outside, her back bumping against her leg. She stopped once outside though, summing up what had happened quickly.

Gorrio looked incredulously at the xweetok, amazed she ahd survived the shock. His own power had multiplied amazingly, plus the blue bolt. At this he looked over toward where it had come from, catching sight of the skunk jetsam leaving the blue sparking lamppost.

Shallo started over, hearing the girl's words. His eyes were flared with hate, and he right as well stomped over to her.
"Don't you dare tell me you have no idea what you just did. That kind of magic's dark, let alone powerful enough that you should know something, if you were anykind of magician." he snarled, looking down at her with contempt now that his rage had fled.
"What hapened dear, I'm sure you can fathom from looing about this square." he cast his staff about, gesturing to the many people laying in pain or dead.

Roaninn had watched the entire scene from afar. Now he rushed forward, shoving past people, until he got to Ara. He crouched down next to her and touched her shoulder. People screamed for him to get away, but he ignored them.
“Arathyne,” he whispered, “are you all right? It’s me, Roan.”

Ara shook her head at Shallo, tears rolling down her face. "No, no, no, I— what's going on, the last thing I remember was running from Cera—" She froze. "Is she safe?" she asked no one in particular.
A hand touched her shoulder. She listened to the words, and then looked into Roan's gentle eyes. She couldn't believe it. "R....Roan?" she whispered, hardly sure she'd said anything at all. Last time she saw him, he was cut in half at her feet, and she was sobbing like a maniac.
Vi, Roni, and Daani all rushed toward Ara, but stayed back far enough they were sure they were safe. "Who's that?" they muttered to each other, pointing and gesturing to Roan.
Trei could feel strength come back into her when her eyes finally reopened. She stood up. A sort of weakness was inside her. She flicked her hand. A fireball came out, but it died away momentarily in the rain that had let up to a drizzle. She looked around. Blood and organs were splattered everywhere, and a crowd surrounded something. She walked over and pushed her way through, till she found her sisters. Roni hugged her. "What's going on?" Trei asked.

Checkr meanwhile had fled confused into an alleyway, determined to find the others. She was not sure exactly why she had left Nerrone, but her instincts told her the lupe would be fine. Something was up... Hearing voices, she ducked behind a dumpster, peering off the side, hair wet from the rain and hanging flat in her face. One pet she did not recognize, the other, an aisha, that spoke so coldly... There was something familier about her... Where had she seen her before? Furrowing her brow, she suddenly came up with an answer. Daani? It had been eight years.. But still.. It couldn't be.. Could it?

Umber's powers had stopped acting up. For the moment. Rising to her feet shakily, and opening her eyes, the lupe was met with an empty street. All the people had fled, and she saw what she thought were bodies off in the distance.
"When did that happen?" She growled to herself, then shivered. All this rain... Flame suddenly roared around her, drying her fur and clothes instataneously. It took longer than average to get back under control, but being dry was worth it. Powers temporarily under check, she headed for town square.

“Shhh, it’s ok, Ara,” he whispered. “Everything’s just fine. Relax.” He personally was just so happy to see her that he could hardly believe it. He’d expected the bloody scene he’d recently witnessed. But right now he didn’t care.

Rasi stepped back, giving the xweetok some air. He figured that Vi and the other girl could do the explaining because he sure didn't know what was going on... He perked up when he heard a familiar name, "Cera?" He asked looking around, had she been hanging around with this murderer?

Niko could smell the blood. That's why he'd run outside. He saw none of the action, but he did see Arathyne falling to the ground. "Arathyne," he gasped, running toward the crowd.
When he got there and he saw some guy stroking her hair and telling her everything'd be fine, he froze. No way. Arathyne... already had a love?!?

Will broke through the crowd right behind Vi. He grabbed her shoulders. "Are you alright, Vi? You ok? If your hurt please tell me right now!" He hugged her tight and looked at her.
He looked to the side. "Niko? That you? What're you doing here on land?"

((alright, time to bring in Omega ^^))
Standing off to the side form some time was another neopets who would draw attention. Only now in the rain as he even partially visible, the streaks of water running down his scales. He had watched everything going on with some concern, and now that there was relative peace was figuring something had to be addressed. The chain connecting his helmet to the shakle on his tail clanged loudly as he made his way over, tail swinging drastically. The bronze clawrings he wore clicked on the wet ground, and the rest of the metal on his limmered dimmly in the rain.
The invisible grarrl fought his way forward, taking position near the center of the circle. he looked around, towering over Ara and the boy on the ground.
"Alright, all of you listen up. We all know something wrong here, and obvisously we should fix it if we want things to go back to normal. If anyone has any ideas, speak up," he called, his strong voice sounding over the rain.

Shallo growled as the grarrl appeare, and swiftly stepepd back into an allyway. This hasn't done me much good anyway, he thought, and I'll have to deal with that lamppost later as well. Once he was safely in the shadows he pulled another ring off his staff, one used recently by the current queen of Quasala. He slipped it on, and was teleported back to his caves. He stalked off down a tunnel, musing.
The others had better have gotten those humans.

"You didn't know?" Roni asked, astonished.
"Reshaen here came and knocked her out," Vi said, jerking her thumb toward Daani.
"I did not," said the witch hunter, "some stupid Jetsam came by and stole her power."
"Stole my power?"
They all looked at her. Trei smiled wearily and flicked her hand again. A small fireball came out. It lasted half a second longer than the last one had, but died away anyway.
"But how--?" Daani began.
"I'm a witch," Trei replied with a shrug. "Our powers rejuvenate with rest. They can't just be given or taken away."

Ara did not want to show affection for Roan in front of everybody, nor did she have the energy, but she did manage to murmur his name again before she passed out. She didn't even hear Omega.
