((Oh yeah, I should probably mention. Pet's who've had they're powers stolen get them back in a few days. Shallo just needs a starter for the rings, then the rings do the rest. I'll have to write a detailed description of the procedure.))

((Yes, that would be the case if you stole from Roni or Vi. But Trei has the witch mark on her hand that they don't, so hers strengthen up again with rest. ^^))

"What do you mean, he took her powers?" Gorrio asked, standing nearby. He slithered over, hoping the girl's would answer his question. He didn't remember seeing a jetsam, but it could have been anyone.

Phyn stood near the doorway, noting the lupe running forward then stopping she crossed her arms, her shell clicking together as she stood there dripping, her antennae sagging a bit from the weight of the rain that had caught on them.

Shallo slid through the tunnels, his staff lighting up as a light. However, before he entered the room emanating various noises, he darkened the light, his dakr scales and cloak hiding him in the gloom. Only his whitestripe and lighter grey throat appeared at all visible in the darkness. He entered, addressing the assembled group that was caged there.
"So, humans, enjoying your stay?"

Lucy jumped at the sound of the Jetsam's voice, and looked. She saw his smirk in the shadows and walked over to him, expressionless. Then, her eyes closed and a big smile plastered itself on her face. "Yes, quite," she said cheerfully. There wasn't even the slightest bit of sarcasm to be found. She opened her eyes and held out her hand through the bars. "Whazzup, I'm Stella, and these are Nina and Maddie." She pointed to Sarah and Anna. "They don't talk much, but they're loving it here too. Are you coming to bring us more friends?" The cheery tone never left her voice. She sincerely sounded like she was enjoying herself. ((Psst: Anna [Maddie], Sarah [Nina], roll with me here, guys. ^^)) -------------------------------- Daani scowled at Gorrio. "I mean he hit her with a ring and zapped her magic away. She's been unconscious since then till now. I thanked him for making my job easier, and then he put his grubby, scaly hands on my arm as if trying to steal my non-existant magic. I told him I had none and to buzz off." She kicked down a Gelert who was trying to see the scene. She began to describe Shallo. "Tall, dark cloak, strange arrangement of rings everywhere? Ring any bells?"  |

I looked at Lucy, "Ummmmm, my name is...." It hit me, "Nina, that's Maddie." She said acting like she was making the names clearer. "Yeah it would be cool if you could give us some food too, and maybe a blanket and something to drink, I like coke, OH! And if you could get me my sketchbook and flip on a light that would be nice too." I said naming off somethings that I wanted at the moment. I pressed my face against the cold bars again and smiled at the Jetsam, "Hey where are my pets anyways?" I asked, the jetsam reminding me of them.

Cera had seen Ara fell and started running that direction but stopped; Ara had told her to stay away but.... She sighed and ruffled her wings, she hated to leave her alone... For goodness sake Ara was just falling out of the sky...
"CERA!" Lue called in a raspy voice, seeing her wonder off. Azura put a finger to his mouth, "You need to rest..." She said and brought him to a bench, sitting him on it. "You need to get Cera and Rasi... Dre said we need to get back the house." He whispered pointing to the pink bori off in the crowd.

Vixcy, seeing the grarrl, brought her group over to him from another alley.
"Disgusting." Vann muttered to himself as his shoes picked up the little remaining blood on the ground and made bloody prints all over the wet ground. Saluki followed, looking wide eyed and afraid, and Skypii seemed to be losing his ghostlike ability to float - one second walking the other several inches or even a few feet in the air - he also was alternatively losing his solidity - one moment the raindrops would go straight through him, the other they would hit him.
"Do you know what's wrong?" Vixcy piped up in a squeaky voice to the grarrl, looking at the others. Her necklace began to glow again and she clasped a hand over it worridly.

Umber stopped, seeing the Ruki, and turned slowly, eyes flashing dangerously behind the curtain of wet hair that had fallen in front of them. She stood there for a moment, as if poised to attack, then sighed heavily, asking in a low and irritated tone, "I suppose you wouldn't know what's going on?"

"urrrghh." I muttered, sitting up and rubbing my head, and blinking a few times, noting the vast amount of people lying around, and the surroundings. This alone kept me quiet for a few moments, looking at the steel bars and cold floor..and.... was that blood? There were three people though, up by the front of the cage, and they seemed familier, so I picked my way through the unconcious bodies and wound up standing by them. Hearing the latest question, I piped in, "Yea, where are my pets? Or anyone's pets? The only people here are... people.."

Gorrio shook his head, the static in his feathers crackling. "I didn't see anyone like that, but I'll take your word for it. He turned away, catching sight of the grarrl in the center of the circle who had spoken. He recognized his friend, but didn't say anything for now.

Omega over at the gelert who had spoken and her group when she asked, later turning back to the reddish brown lupe who asked after.
"I'm not much more certain than any of you probably are, but something's obviously wrong with the magic here." He looked around, trying to figure who was magic and who wasn't.
"If any of you have any ideas that could give us a hint, speak up. I'm not sure if any of you've noticed, but all the humans are gone and something is definitely wrong with the weather." He gestured about, the rain still streaking down his scales.

Phyn looked back, seeing the island kougress leading Lue to a bench. even from where she was, Phyn could tell something was wrong with him. She walekd over, tapping the kougress to get her attention. "His he going to be alright?" She asked, still glancing back at where everyone was gathered incase something happened.

Shallo smirked. "Well, your pet's should be where you left them. Though I'm not sure of their safety, last I saw there was faeire xweetok running about causing all sort of damage. However, regarding your requests, someone will probably be by later with food, and I'll see about the blankets." From the way he was speaking one would almost think he was acting the good host. After he said this, though, he turned the still smirking but his eyes were full of malice. They'll have to be dealt with later, he though, those three girls are to peppy, and they'll probably try snooping later. I'll have to warn the others.

Azura looked up at the ruki and then back down at Lue, "I don't know what's wrong with him..." She confessed, "I'm hoping it's just something he ate." She said worried about him too. She looked back up at the ruki, "Do you two know each other?" She asked wondering why the ruki was worried about Lue's well being.
Lue nodded before she could say anything, "Yeah I met her eight years back." He smiled and nudged Azura, "You need to find the others..." He whispered, "I'll be fine, I'm sure I'm not dieing or anything." He joked and waved for her to go.
((Ok, Lue is getting all messed up because magic/science was used to make him, he will be all blah through out the story but he won't die ^^ I might even make him change a bit ^^ I dunno...))

"HEY! WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER STUFF?!?!" I yelled out but the Jetsam had already left. I sat back down, leaning my back to the bars, and crossed my arms. "Why are we here?" I asked and then saw that someone else had joined out awake group, "Oh hey Starling, do you know what's going on here?" I asked, looking around some more.

((^^  ) "Cera!" In the whole confusion of what had been going on, Dhiablos had let her escape his mind for a few seconds, and found that he was lost in the chaos. Dead bodies littered the streets. Crowds of people stuck together, as though there were safety in numbers. He heard someone scream, and rain started to fall, hard. Lightning flashed across the sky in an array of sparks. Where was she? "Cera!" he shouted through the storm. A few people stared at him, but most of them kept walking hurriedly in the other direction. He walked across the road, trying to block out everything else. Something caught his eye. The skies had darkened considerably; black clouds had appeared seemingly from nowhere, and a collection of - stars? - had begun to trail across the sky, leaving a fiery trail behind them. Curious. Dhia's eyes snapped back to the busy street, and searched for Cera anxiously. He didn't want to lose her again, and without explaining himself properly. He wanted to tell her, he thought, moving through the crowd, how much he'd missed her. How much he loved her. How much he was sorry. crash.Something fiery exploded into the street, sending rubble everywhere. He stared. Another crash, and the ground shook. Someone screamed. "Meteor shower!"He shook his head. There she was - he could see her easily because she was bright pink. His heart leapt, and he began to run. "Cera!" he yelled over the noise. "Look out!" He was a few feet away from her, and he could feel the rushing sound behind him - he grabbed her and pushed her out of the way. Crash. That was too close. A meteor sent off a wave of heat and buried itself into the ground where Cera had been, moments before. They were on the ground, and Dhia opened his eyes. "I don't know what's going on." he said, his eyes hard. "But I know we need to find somewhere safe." ((long post to make up for lost time? if this is too much, say so. I couldn't think of anything else except 'meteor shower')) |

Cera screamed when she felt the herself being pushed down and then the heat from the meteor. She opened her golden eyes and saw green fur around her, "Dhia?" She said wondering where he had been, she saw the smoldering rock buried in the ground along with many others that were beginning to fall. She looked up and him again and nodded, "Lets go..." She said standing up, "Where's your friend?" She asked not wanting anyone to get left behind. She saw Lue and Azura cowering by a building so she wasn't too worried about them...

Gorrio glanced up, watching the falling stars. He was more than used to the danger of the fiery rocks, and instantly started looking about for some safety. People ran about screaming, but the hissi slid through the crowd to where the grarrl was standing.
"Omega, look, people can hear you over this. Tell everyone to get in a building, perferably with a metal roof. Anyplace with a sturdy roof," he added, noticing that most places about didn't have any metal.
The grarrl nodded, standing up taller and shouting over the chaos. Small fragments of rock bounced off his helmet, but that didn't stop him.
"Everyone, inside a building. Make sure it has a sturdy roof," He hollared, looking about himself for a place to hide.
Phyn heard the grarrl over the storm, her own arms already held over her head, he glancede back at the resturant close by, where many people were already fleeing. She stooped down, grabbing Lue's shoulder. "Come on, Lue, we have to get out of here," she said, helping him off the bench. However, before she could get him anywhere a meteor came sizzling down, tearing holes in her large wings. The ruki hissed, but ignored the pain for now and focused on getting herself and her old friend to safety.
As she struggled with him the glowing hissi and invisible grarrl raced past them into the building, as more of the meteors crashed down.

Cera was surprised Dhia was acting so worried about her, "Ummmm, ok..." She said and looked herself over, "I'm fine, we need to --" Small rocks were falling from the sky, most of them burnt up in the atmosphere but some actually made it to the ground. A golf ball size rock fell between them, making a hold about a foot deep in the road. "Get out of here..." She finished, looking down in the hole. "Come on." She said turning around and heading toward Lue and Azura, hoping they would know a place to go for safety.

Lue nodded and stood up, he shuddered when he noticed the hole in her wing, feeling the pain by just looking at it. "Are you ok?" He asked, small pebbles bounced off him like hail stones. He didn't wait for an answer though as he scurried inside, Azura following close behind him.

"Okay, let's go," he said, following after her. Dhia held his arms above his head as small, pebble sized rocks fell out the sky here and there. People were running everywhere, and several buildings had been hit by meteors - some were even on fire.
