"I asked you earlier what happened to you in the last eight years and you just said nothing much, or something like that..." Lue said, now confused himself.
Rasi felt eyes on him again and scowled, he turned to Azura. "Hey, is that pirate shoyru looking at me again?" He asked using her eyes to look at Vi because he knew as soon as he turned his head Vi would look away.
Azura gave him a weird look and looked over his shoulder, her eyes catching Vi's. "Yeah..." She said and then started to smile, "Who's thaaaat?" She said, teasingly.
Rasi scowled, "No one..."

Life, yes, that's it, boring, hehe, who said anything about awful? Heh heh," she laughed weirdly again. Vi saw Rasi talking to a Kougra and cringed. He was using her to spy on her, she knew it. Finally, she bit her lip, stood up, and marched over to Rasi. "Can I speak to you for a moment," she asked, "outside?" |

Lue raised an eyebrow again, "Ummm, ok... Sorry to hear that." He said looking at her weirdly.
Rasi turned around and looked at Vi, "Took you long enough... Finished spying on me?" He asked with a smile.

Daani watched them go. "Umm, Lue?" she asked, her voice suddenly gone weak. "I think we should take a walk, too-- there's some stuff I need to tell you, but I can't tell you them here, with all these people." Roni walked over to Gorrio casually. "How're we gonna make sleeping room for everybody?" she asked, "and who will stand guard?" ((hehe ^^ page pwn)) |

Gorrio looked up as the shoyru walked over, and listened to her statement with just a tiny bit of doubt whether she was going to continue argueing. But her comment was nothing of the sort, so he responded easily enough.
"Well, we could stack the tables and move them to the side, or something. And I'm sure Omega or I could stand guard, if no one else will." he replied, and the grarrl gave an agreeing nod.
Omega moved out amongst the crowd, easily pushing one of the table against the window and already clearing a bit of space.
Phyn cast one last curious glance at Daani and Lue, before rummaging in her bag, rearranging her belongings to the water anf flshlight were easily accessable. She took the orange stone from the table and got up to stand by the door, waiting for any others that would be joining her.

Lue looked back at Daani after he watched Rasi leave, a confused expression on his face again, "Ummmm, ok..." He said and then smiled, "I think we should go in the opposite direction of them though." he said and looked out the window at Rasi, "Something tells me their conversation won't be a good one." He started making his way towards the door, following the path that Rasi had taken to his exit.
"I'm coming, I'm coming..." Rasi said and then stopped once they were outside, "Now what is it?" He asked but knew exactly what this was going to be about.

"I'm hardly tired," Roni agreed, "so I'll stay up and guard as well. And I like the table stacking idea. We should all stay in one place except for those on guard. No one needs to deal with lost people, besides the three we've already lost. But... I know Ara. She'll see to it that Cera and Dhia are safe. But she herself... might not be so safe." Daani nodded and she started walking to the corner, waiting for Lue to catch up. Vi waited for her and Lue to leave before speaking. "You probably know exactly what this is going to be about (XD)," she said, "and that's good. It'll make it easier then." She took a deep breath. "I can't stop regretting what I did.. back on Terror Mountain. I don't get it, I mean, you're amazing, you could get any girl you wanted, and what did you do? You helped me, and then you told me you loved me and I said the same to you. But then what did I do after all your kindness and helping me in a dire time of need when you could have left me to die?" Tears were coming out of her eyes now. "I left you to die. I heard the word treasure and another me just sprung out. No, no, not another me--this is my responsibility, I'm not going to blame it on anything else. I was consumed by the need for this treasure and I forgot about you. It's happened before and I was determined not to let it happen again. It felt so real with you, so wonderful, and... I blew it. I blew it just because I'm a goddamned pirate who doesn't deserve the likes of you." She was sobbing now. (( Wow, totally un-piratelike. XDD)) |

Rasi looked at her with a blank face, he agreed with every word she said but he still had that feeling that she had used him to get her sight back and to get that treasure... He looked around to make sure no one saw her crying, he didn't want to look like the bad guy here... He wished she would stop, yeah he had loved her an all but her whole attitude change after she got her sight back really threw him off. Then at the end it just got crushed so there was really nothing he wanted to do for her right now. He didn't want to say anything though, he would probably make her cry harder and that was definitely not something he wanted right now....
Lue followed her until they arrived to their destination, "So what's up?" He asked, wondering what this was all about.

"Look," she said, wiping away her tears, looking up at him with wet, shiny eyes, "I know you probably think I used you (XD) or something, but I honestly didn't. Not until we started talking about treasure. But..." She reached her hand out to touch his, but stopped, and it hung back, limp at her side. "I did love you. I still do... I know you don't give two shits about me, but I do about you. I just wanted to say I'm sorry. So, so, so, so, so very sorry. That'll never be enough, I know, but... it's better than not saying it, I suppose."
Daani was in a spot where they couldn't see or hear Rasi or Vi. She sat down on a bench conveniently nearby and took a deep breath. "Look, Lue, I haven't been totally honest with you about my life. I want to tell the truth now. Now that we're out of that crowd of people."

Gorrio nodded, watching Omega shove more tables out of the way, the grarrl's chain clinked as he went.
"That's fine, we could use the company." He said, the thought over the last bit of her statement. "So, Ara...is that the faeire xweetok that Phyn was making a big deal about eariler?" It felt odd to say that about his friend, even if it was true. The ruki herself was leaning against the doorframe, getting impatient with the lack of support she was getting for the night's search team.

"Yeah," said Roni with a sigh, "that'd be her." She then turned around and called, "Anyone here who would like to sleep, please help us in moving the tables to the left of the room. My left, not yours."
Many people proceeded to push tables.

Phyn sighed, figureing whatever though of searching there was tonight was gone, and proceeded to help with the moving of the tables. She helped Omega stack a few to make more room, but otherwise didn't say anything, occasionally glancing outside, though.
Gorrio watched fomr the tables, not wanting to shock anyone or get the the way. His tail twicthed from side to side as he watched, and after a while he removed his helmet, which only emphasized the feathers of his crest, currently in a fairly normal position halfway between up and down.
==========Meanwhile================
Shallo sighed, setting the stasis spell and blinking away the drowsiness. He had spent quite a bit of energy between the device and his jaunt around the city. He yawned, turning and grabbing his staff before leaving the room. As he entered the main cavern, he cast a curious glance over the assembled girls, didn't care that one seemed to be missing (Dre), and entered one of the side rooms.
Inside was a comfortable mattress obviously belonging to the jetsam. Stacks of cusions also adorned the bed and floor, and after a few moments thought he gathered up an armfu and carried them out into the main room, dropping them on the floor. He went back, returning with a stack of blankets as well.
"The three of you can sleep where you wish, I don't care. Just stay away from the forge and my quarters." he said this with little attention, as if it was only out of politness that he gave them any notice at all. He then returned to his own rooms, closing the door and preparing for the good rest he felt he deserved.

Rasi blinked, it was like she was reading his mind ((xDDDD)). He saw her reach for his out of the corner of his eye and when she was finished he took it, "I do still care about you but I'm just trying not to anymore. You know with our situation we can never be together..." He said and reached around her to take Vi's other hand, "I didn't think I would see you again so when I did I just started acting like an asshole so I wouldn't fall for you again..." And that was the truth. He figured she would always be sailng along in her ship and never come near where he stayed. "You stole a lot more than just my stuff back there..." He said and with that he let go of her hands and started heading back towards the pizzaroo.
Lue narrowed his eyes but then shrugged, "You don't have to tell me what happened those eight years... I was just trying to start a conversation back there and that was the only thing I would think of." He said and smiled, I wan't planning on telling you everything that happened to me..."
((Lue is so stupid... *smacks Lue*
